Oak Ridge Plaza

Oak Ridge Plaza seems a bit sketchy because it is however it's generally safe. Whether you're a local or a visitor it's totally safe to visit and walk around. Not a lot of household names when it comes to stores other than thrift shops like the Family Dollar and La Familia Pawn & Jewelry. However if you're looking for a simple easy and good time and on a budget it's the place to visit. It's currently going under a gentrification phase, it seems like it's been going thru this slow process since 2017. However given that Oak Ridge is one of the original communities within Orlando City and Outside City Limits (Pine Castle) it's an authentic neighborhood of Orlando because of its relevancy over the decades. If you love Food Trucks, Mexican Restaurants and Hispanic 🧫 culture cuisine this is the place to visit.

There's also everything that your typical neighborhood would need to stay in motion. Barbershops 💈 in the plaza, nail salon, laundromat, staffing company, liquor store, bar and lounge (El Rey Bar and Copacabana) Chinese Fast Food Restaurant across the street. The local favorite restaurants known as ATL Deli and GYRO'S which are the go to restaurants in the plaza. Oakridge is what it is, personally I used to live on "The Ridge" and along it (Lancaster/Winegard) so in a way this is my stomping grounds and no matter how much I may say I dislike this area or I'm tired of it. I always seem to have to come back to visit or eat food that was cooked from the heart by the locals with the food trucks for restaurants. All in all this unity in this neighborhood. Yes, it may be a little dirty at times and a lot going on but that's why people love it so much because there's always a lot going on, especially on the weekends from 10:00 a.m. till 3:00 a.m. following day and on weekend nights.

The most delicious grilled chicken I've had since I arrived here in 1994, lol. Outstanding people, restaurant, Mexican food, and prices. Will definitely keep promoting Marisco Los Pulpo. Gracias 😉 chicos. Becky regresa pronto.

Why I love Oakridge Plaza is the atmosphere Beautiful People wonderful drinks and Greek food a place to take family friends neighbors co-workers School buddies church members Etc. A good place to go shopping shoes purses belts panties boxers drawers health care products fun exciting new things to do each and every day that you go by there I recommend that you wanted to go and have a ball and God bless

Mr Gyros is the best fresh, fast "cooked" food drive thru I've ever had. 😋

I go to Griffols to donate plasma. By far the best place. Do not waste your time at CSL!

Great out of the way spot

Pretty cool and awesome area with lots of Latin cultural Filled stores and restaurants.

Great convenient plaza. U can donate plasma and get compensated and then go eat at either the gyro spot, the spanish spot, the wing spot, many options. Unfortunately, subway is no longer here :/ U CAN EVEN WASH UR CLOTHES OR go to the family dollar. Idk i like this place

First time going to oak ridge plaza not that bad got a couple of Little stores and the food over there is amazing so make sure you get your gyro over there

If you're ever in the mood for Carribean or Spanish food this would be a great place to stop by. In the Busy Bee Supermarket you can get a great lunch for an affordable price. The whole meal is usually about five or six dollars with a good portion size. There's also a great Haitian restaurant at the other corner of the Plaza. Their food never fails, filled with flavor and will always have you wanting more.

Very good price awesome place to eat with your family

I highly recommend this place. King Express has very fresh food. My only complaint is that the fried rice didn't have meat in it.

The family dollar is like a home to me. I walk in the treat me with so much respect. Don she is amazing love her always love to help.

Went to Capital Grille. Stan was terrific thank you for being so tentative. Had the salmon which was delicious.

Only visited spanish grocery for fresh made spanish bread, also they have a variety of spanish lunch food as early ad 8am. Parking is ok, safe place.

The Hispanic restaurant has the BEST EMPANADAS IN TOWN. I've never eaten the other food. But I'm sure its good too. I just can't get enough of those empanadas.

The plaza need cleaning up it is too many junkies around there I come on that side cuz the laundry room nice and clean and friendly but when you step out of the laundry room junkies is asking for your money so I won't be going over there anymore.

Its great they have great deals in the pawn shop and family dollar right next to them there is a very lit bar name (mezcal) wich gets very lit on saturdays and then next to the pawn is busy bee they cell reall good food there and rigt next to that there is a subway and next to subway there is a laundry.
