Rustic Knolls Campsites and Cabins

We really enjoy going to the campground. We love that it is kid friendly and the speed limit rules are actually enforced. The swim pond is great and the kids love it. We have a few trips booked for next year

Very Nice campground. Super clean outside and inside the Cabin we had. Family oriented with lots of stuff to do for the kids and adults.Staff was very nice and Helpful, Frank was a great help getting our fire started for us and it burned all night because of him 😁 Definitely going back in the Future.

A very family friendly atmosphere. My family has been camping here multiple times this summer and even stopped by a few days just to swim, highly recommend checking out this campground.

My first time here and very impressed with the lay out the peaceful atmosphere the friendly Campmaster Frank( whose Hawaiian shirt with his face all over it) I bought!!! I’ll be back for sure! It’s a beautiful place and hated leaving!

If you are looking for a unique diamond in the rough Rustic Knolls Campsites sets the bar! The customer service provided by Campmaster Frank is unbeatable! This place is the epitome of a family friendly environment. If you have a chance, get on their website and book your stay to correlate with one of the campgrounds planned activities. We were here for the water fight and it was incredible. I would highly recommend the cabins for anyone like us that likes camping in a bed, my family of 5 had plenty of room and they are stocked with the essentials plus a gas grill!! We will definitely makes the pilgrimage from Michigan again.

First time camping here and it was fun. Despite that the storm took out the electric, we made the best of it. Faith, she checked us in was wonderful. Gave us the details about the campground activities, services they provided. What a nice gal! Besides delivery of our firewood, they provided water. Even a free breakfast on Sunday morning. We did primitive camp so the delivery of our wood was great. Thank you Faith & staff for your kindness in making our first visit an enjoyable and fun place to camp. We'll be back!!

We just spent the last 4 days at Rustic Knolls. It was a large family trip and we rented the Polynesian Village. This area must be rented together and is perfect for large groups. It includes 4 camper cabins, full kitchen cabin, 2 bathrooms with showers, fire ring and covered picnic area. We also had a group in a camper spot.

The cabins were a perfect size! They included full over full bunk beds with a futon that pulls out. There was a table and mini fridge also in each cabin. It also had quite a bit of storage!

The kitchen cabin was better than expected! It included a full size stove/oven, fridge, propane grill and coffee maker. It made it easy to keep things organized! It also was stocked with utensils, plates, bowls and cups.

The bathrooms were nicely sized and each included toilets, large sink and showers. Also, the main shower house is very clean if that is preferred.

We had people of all ages in our group including a total of 8 kids ranging from ages 1.5 to 17years old. They had a blast! Between the pond with inflatables, fishing, the park, basketball hoops, the game room and Karaoke on Saturday night we rarely heard the usual “I’m bored” complaints! There are also plenty of places to ride bikes which we will bring next year.

Overall, everyone had a great time and we have no complaints. Everyone we encountered was very friendly - staff and other campers. The camp store was nice and had lots of items. We did follow the rules so I’m sure that helped our experience but we felt the owners were very nice. We loved it and are in the process of booking again for next year!! Definitely recommend visiting Rustic Knolls!

Went to a recent vw campout here. It's about 2 hrs or so away from my house. I would make that drive again any day. First off the place is very well thought out. It's a family friendly environment with tons of things for kids to do. It's probably the nicest private campground I've been too. Staff is great and bathrooms are clean.

Truly the most hospitable and well-kept camp ground I have ever been to. Just big enough to be separated from others but just small enough to walk wherever you want to go. Everything is clean, nothing needs major repairs or seems unsafe, and Camp Master Frank is the grooviest of dudes! A wonderful home away from home with something for everyone!

Family oriented campground. Lots of fun activities throughout the camping season. Swimming, fishing, playground and basketball. Special breakfast on Mother's and Father's Day, arts and craft events, Christmas in July, Fourth of July fireworks, Halloween celebrations and Chili cook-off.

RV, camper and primitive spots to rent along with cabins. Dog friendly park.

I stayed at RK from late April until early June 2022 while working a project in the area. They weren’t actually open for the season when I contacted them, but accommodated me with no problem. Campmaster Frank and I share the same birthday, he was great and tolerated my sense of humor (haha). The park is very scenic, well maintained, and well run. And I’m not kidding, the WiFi is the best I have ever experienced at any campground, even at peak periods and when full! This is otherwise an campground with an old school theme, family oriented, and the campers are all very nice peeps. I will stay here again and would highly recommend! Don’t pay attention to the reviews about Frank - he is awesome, unless you think you’re going to come to RK and ignore the rules. It is refreshing when campground management enforces rules, they are there for a reason, and RK has no more than any other well run family campground.

We spent the month of July at Rustic Knolls. It’s a beautiful campground with manicured grounds and a really clean swim pond without fish! I loved that. Floating in the lake is so peaceful. My husband enjoyed the fishing pond. He caught largemouth bass, bluegill and catfish. The planned theme weekends are very well done and a lot of fun! We’re empty nesters so no kids but we invited friends and family up and everyone had a great time here. Shower houses are clean and well maintained. Camp master Frank and staff were all great. If we don’t make it back soon, it’s only because we are new campers and have a lot of places yet to explore!

Awesome campground. The store provided items we needed throughout our stay. The ponds were great. One for swimming and one from fishing made our trip so convenient. The activities the weekend we stayed were family oriented and we finished the weekend off with fireworks! Very clean, very friendly!!

Great Primitive tent camping sites. There is plenty of activities. It is very clean. Everyone is nice. You can be left alone or be as involved as you want. This is our second visit. We were here two years before. We liked it and came back. Yes, owner came in golf cart but asked if everything was good and did we need anything.

A group of kids came just as the sun was setting. I don't think the primitive sites get used very much. The kids were going to play a game but as soon as they say us camping they turned around. They were very respectful.

We plan on returning very soon (couple weeks and stay for several days.

Just a few miles from home for us. One of the best campgrounds we have been to. Going to be coming back the next two weekends we enjoyed it so much. The swimming lake is great and even if we are not camping we will be coming back to go swimming. The owner Frank is awesome, good dude. We are very impressed with this oasis.

Loved the cabin and amenities. My only complaint is no access to water unless you get from shower house. No outside faucets . Even primitive needs Waterford washing hands after using Porta potties. Yes I would go agsin

Rustic Knolls is truly a hidden gem in Central Ohio. The park is beautifully maintained, from the beautiful swimming pond to the well appointed game room and awesome playground. The campers are friendly and we really enjoyed being invited to share a campfire with our neighbors. The owners are friendly and they obviously have invested many hours in making the park a beautiful and family friendly place! We will definitely be back!

This campground was amazing. The workers were really nice super helpful. Shower houses were clean and well taken care of. They have full hook up for campers.The swimming lake was clean. Everyone was really friendly and kept to there self. I would totally recommend for a family trip
