Mick's Soft Serve and Sandwiches

With the season for warm weather and cold ice cream here, my kids and I went to Mick's 1872 for a milkshake. As a casual neighborhood dairy bar nearby we've been there many times and always love the food, both hamburgers and ice cream. Good cost, nice neighborhood atmosphere, and delicious treats.

This ice cream shop is the best! They always make what you want, how you want. My wife and I frequently come here now because they make our Sunday flavors into a cup and we love it!

Stopped here for a bite to eat when my brother was in the Select Specialty Hospital down the road. The swiss mushroom burger was the best I've ever tasted ! Fries were done perfectly. They mix any flavors for the shakes...I had half orange and half cream cheese which the nice young man working there recommended. Sooooo delicious! A very pleasant surprise since I just stopped because it was one minute from the hospital! I'm looking forward to another visit there soon!

Food was correct and hot and yummy. Don't find that around Newark Ohio very often. I had a Coney dog and amazing. A lot of places try to pass a chili dog off as one but this was the real deal friends. Staff was great and speedy. Definitely recommend them to all of you. If you have a dog check out the dogwiches. My dogs love them.

Heard they had good food. Tried a burger. Was great with fresh sliced tomatoes from owners garden. Mmmm good. Also hear that the shredded chicken is dynomite. I'll go back. Oh the milkshakes.....OMG so good.

Never had anything bad here. Great ice cream and food. Staff is all always very friendly, patient, and helpful. Highly recommend stopping by and treating yourself. Only wish they were open year round.

Mick's is amazing! Best pizza burgers in Licking County. Owners are very kind and accommodating. Try their pizza shop next door!

Rode our bikes there for ice cream. Chocolate dip twist was good and stepson liked the toasted marshmallow shake, again:)

I thoroughly enjoyed a turtle sundae my last visit so I ordered the same but they didn't put any caramel in it and were out of pecans so they used peanuts.

Great ice-cream at a reasonable price. The people are always friendly and the toppings are good. You will not be disappointed.

Besides offering the best soft serve. The burgers are amazing, best coney sauce in town, awesome fish sandwich and Reuben. Beats the heck out of fast food places.

I always seem to get amazing food and service would recommend they do have really good food.

The shakes are SO good. If you are getting food, I recommend the walking taco. Basically a taco in a fritos bag. Also, the coney sauce is KILLER!

Classic small ice cream shop. They have blackberry milkshakes which the the other ice cream shops in town don't have.
