Very helpful staff. The courthouse has implemented COVID19 precautions.

Like any other government agency the hours of business are inconvenient and unacceptable to the general public. Having to take a vacation day to handle business is ridiculous. If you're not going to be open until 6 on weekdays at least be open for a partial day on Saturday.

All double standards. When a man is owed money back from child support forget it. If I owed money court would put me in jail and take away my driver license. But since I am owed money o well. Hire an attorney which cost more money pay more court cost to get money I am owed? And don’t forgot my favorite line we don’t Put people in jail for owing money. But you do all the time. Or my personal favorite a judge makes a terrible decision. But you can’t sue a judge. And then let’s top it off with. Judge makes horrible decisions so you have to sue other party. You win!! But lorain county still charges you court costs for the bad decision???? This court really needs to start over with all new personnel. And all the corrupt people need jail time….

Horrible experience with everyone I encountered throughout my 3 year ordeal!! I was over charged for court costs which were to be spilt between myself and my ex-spouse. It clearly states in the journal entry, costs to be split. When I inquired about my refund I was told “Your not getting your money back from the court, until your ex pays.” My ex will never pay, so I guess the court system wins again!

Can't even get a human on the phone. Only the automated system and it gets you no where.
