I would highly recommend Agate Electrolysis to anyone. The environment is perfect and you could not ask for a nicer or more caring person than Terra to visit. It is also affordable and I have seen so much progress within the expected timeline she discussed with me on the initial visit.

I just had my first electrolysis appointment with Terra. I am thoroughly impressed with the whole experience. Terra explained the entire process from A to Z. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. She is very upbeat and has a good energy about her. Terra performed the service with expert precision. Instead of harsh fluorescent lighting, the center of the ceiling is a sky panel of brightly-colored clouds and flowers, so when you are lying down, you have something soothing to look at during the procedure. The place was totally clean. She used state-of-the-art, clean equipment. Afterwards, I booked another appointment to remove hair in other areas. I'm actually excited to go back.
I can't believe I've been tweezing and shaving all these years, spending all that time and money, and being preoccupied with unwanted hair. I spent 13 years doing that. I couldn't figure out why it just kept getting worse. Today I learned from Terra that removing hair from the root (tweezing/waxing/threading) can stimulate even more hair growth. I should have done electrolysis sooner. I also am very relieved I didn't gamble thousands of dollars on laser hair removal. The laser clinic I went to a few years ago quoted a price of $2,000, and that was with a discount. I had the check written out -- that's how close I was to doing it. I learned later that it's not permanent, especially facial hair, which much of the time is caused by hormones and medications.
Right now, an hour after my appointment, I have only a little bit of redness on the treated areas. It was a bit swollen immediately after, but it's totally gone now. I have to abstain from makeup/sunscreen/oil-based facial products for 12 to 24 hours. She said don't touch the areas too much, get them dirty, etc. Which is basically common sense.
The first experience was great.
UPDATE: It has been 2 to 3 months. I've had 7 (maybe 8?) appointments.
The original areas I wanted treated were 95% gone within the first appointment. At the first appointment, she treated 121 follices. Almost nothing came back. It seemed to good to be true, but it's real. Between treatments, the original areas only have a handful of hairs that grow in each time. Maybe I'm lucky they've all been mostly in the growing phase during treatment, but I am very, very satisfied at this point. I'd say the original areas now are 98-99% done, permanently. After a couple more appointments, it appears that nothing is going to come back at all. My tweezing scars are fading. I use less makeup to cover them. On the day of treatment, afterwards, I do have a bit of swelling and redness, but it goes away very fast.
I had such good results after the first treatment that I decided I wanted other areas done. Amazing results with those, too. Again, maybe I am lucky. Different people may have different results.
The thing is, to get the fastest results, you can't tweeze. Shaving is fine, trimming is fine. After I found out that tweezing stimulates more growth, it motivated me to stop. For me, there's no need to do it anymore, anyway. Before treatment, I looked in the mirror and my eyes immediately scanned the problem areas. It was more than daily. But now that doesn't happen. It's a great feeling.
Terra is just great. She's a pro, and she's fast. She holds good conversation. Always pleasant. A really nice and confident person. I feel like I really picked a great place. I have only good things to say about Terra and her practice. She likes her profession and truly likes to help people. A huge "thank you" to her for everything. Like the reviewer before me said, I wish I'd gone sooner.
