Fireside Cafe

We went for breakfast on a Saturday morning around 8:45 and were seated promptly. We ordered the American breakfast (bacon, eggs, home fries, biscuit, and one piece of French toast) and a tall order of French toast (3 slices). The bacon and home fries were very good! The home fries were sliced potatoes that were pan fried and a little crispy. The eggs and French toast were average. Service was great, although a little slow. The atmosphere is very bar-like—a little dark for breakfast—but comfortable. Would go back again to try other items from the menu!

Wanted to try a new place for breakfast. Was in the area and decided to see what Fireside Cafe had to offer. The place is warm and cozy, and they do serve lunch and dinner. It has a "sports bar" feel which adds to the ambiance. The staff is very friendly and courteous and very attentive to your needs. For breakfast, I decided on the "Create your own Platter". I had two eggs scrambled, two sausage patties, home fries, toast - also added Cheesy Grits and French Toast with blueberries. My partner had the "Steak Eggs Benedict" with Chipotle Hollandaise, home fries with onions and Arugula. Everything was hot an delicious! The french toast was crispy on the outside but tender on the inside, literally melted in my mouth! If you are looking for a reasonably priced restaurant with great food and service, look no further than "Fireside Cafe"! You won't be disappointed!

The blueberry mimosa was so delicious. We started with cinnamon sugar donut holes which came with two different dipping sauces caramel, and chocolate. They have both breakfast and lunch menu items. The food was really delicious

Delicious eats served by great employees! Everybody is so nice here. The chicken and waffle are a favorite here. Love the waffle and included a side of fries, which came out crispy and fresh. Also enjoyed the avocado toast. The fried egg, bacon, and avocado came out with perfection. We always enjoy this place, eating in or carry out. Great food and great service.

Had an awesome experience! Everything was great and made with high quality ingredients. Best spinach artichoke dip I've had in a long time!! Pizza awesome. Cheesy grits and shrimp amazing! Reuben excellent.. Rye crisp and corned beef juicy. Very impressed!

An interestingly moody setting. Lighting & music, give Fireside a unique feel. The diner was clean, including the bathroom. The meal wasn't bad. The biscuits & gravy had great flavor, though I wish I had 2 biscuits for the price, it was still very good. Loved the fries, & the grits were perfect. Coffee was always filled & the service was just right. I'd come back to try a couple other menu items for sure.

First timers. Good service! The tomato basil soup was so good and it was obvious that it was homemade and not from a bag, so good! The 7 cheese grilled cheese was amazing! My Hubby enjoyed his fish and chips. The Bloody Mary was super peppery but I didn’t say what level hot I wanted so I can’t blame the sever. Cute little place, We will definitely return!

Cute little brunch place close to liberty mall. Very kind and attentive staff. Food came quickly with generous portions and great flavor. Got the hash with chicken and goetta. Everything was tasty and at a good price too. Check it out if you’re in the area!

A gem not easily found in the suburbs of Cincinnati awash with chains and precooked food. Locally grown food. Made from scratch for each order. The resulting meal is exquisite. Go to enjoy the old style hospitality keeping in mind that quality from scratch meals takes a little longer than some may be used to, but O' sooo worth the wait. Relax & enjoy yourself, the best is coming.

My review is for the food only because I had it when I had a sleep study, it was so good I had to look up to leave a review about how good the food is. I'm sure the service and atmosphere is great too, but holy Christmas the food was SO GOOD. I thought I'd get lucky and something would be close to ubereats, I had a breakfast plate, and an entree salmon with roast vegetables salad because it was a 24 hr thing, and both meals were so good I ate every bite. 10/10 recommend this stuff and will be eating it again without being wired up for 24hrs

My husband & I stopped in for a late morning breakfast on a Tuesday. He had the meat lovers omelet and I had the Monte cristo sandwich. Both were delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive her name was Lisa. Looking at the menu, We both decided we'd like to come back and try a few dinner options too since we had success with breakfast. They also have outdoor dining and a bar.

Great breakfast! Lunch and dinner are delicious as well. Burgers are to die for. Also delicious pasta dishes, salads and an amazing Cuban. Servers are friendly, courteous and prompt. Great place for a meal any time of the day. When we asked the server to compliment the cook, we were told the owner was in the kitchen cooking. That’s real commitment! Stop in for a great dining experience. You won’t regret it!

This is a hidden gem, we had a great meal here with zero wait on a Saturday morning. The food was a combination of creative and classics with new takes on dishes that I hadn't seen before and the prices were very reasonable.

A word of advice. Come hungry. Don't be on a diet 😁. Was looking for a new brunch spot and decided on Fireside Cafe. The restaurant is clean and open. The food was delicious and the portions huge.

The Craven was my choice with egg, potato, buttermilk chicken, gravy and cheese. OMG, sooo good! The French toast was dusted with lemon zest - fantastic!

Menu is extensive and pricing fair. Will becoming back again to try their dinner menu because that looked totally awesome too.

A great place and a hidden gem!

**Follow Up**

Visited again and the food this week was just as good. There is consistency week over week, so definitely in my "great places to eat" category.

2022 Follow Up - This is our favorite brunch spot now. We just love how consistent everything is week over week from the friendly front of house host to the serve staff. Prices have remained reasonable and quality of food is excellent. A real neighborhood gem!

So good, we went back for brunch again the next weekend! Nice portions, great quality and the friendliest staff! Additionally they are on top of the social distancing and masks, and the bathrooms were very clean both times! The Craven, Benedict and Crunchy French Toast are not to be missed!

I’ve been meaning to review Fireside sooner. Can’t say enough great things about this place! Beer on tap in the early morning for the third shift crowd is great! They usually have some different drafts rotating throughout the year. They’ll feature some local brews but also popular favorites (e.g. Fat Tire). Breakfast menu is amazing, I recommend the “craven” for the hungry.

Just the cafe that we were looking for an enjoyable brunch with daughter. Great service staff, we received exactly what we ordered. Chief provided excellent food presentation.

I had never been here before. I had the cheeseburger and it was one of the best cheeseburgers that I have ever had out of a restaurant. I was truly pleasantly surprised. I would definitely stop by this place again when I am craving a burger.

The food was excellent, as always. The service was attentive, and the cook came out and made sure we were happy.

We have been eating here since Fireside has been open. A excellent spot with great food that still not a lot of people know about. Food is great and homemade.
