Kwik Fill

I go to this particular quick fill frequently. I use their diesel in a VW Jetta. So far so good. The gas attendants are always professional and ready to filler up.

The full service really is so nice. Never have had an issues. Price seems fair.

Gas prices are low, staff is friendly, they go way above, and they work no matter the temps or weather. And it awesome not having to pump gas myself

It's embarrassing to say so, but I do have my favorite gas stations, both around town and in far-flung places. This is one of them.

This is your basic, no-frills gas station. OK, one frill: attendant will fill your tank for you. No, two frills: and they'll happily let you fill you own tank if you want to.

I think they have "convenience" supplies in the hut, but, nahhh.

So, what's the attraction? Location and PRICE!

Location: Great! Sure, it can be a little tricky or awkward or slow to get in and out, but that's because of Ithaca's crazy traffic design. Not K-F's fault.

Price: Generally tied for the cheapest in town. If you have the Kwik-Fill loyalty card, then it's 3 cents cheaper than the rest. You can do even better with the K-F credit card, but maybe you don't need another credit card.

General grumble about Ithaca gas pricing: If you didn't know better, you'd think there was some kind of monopolistic practice going on. Except for the higher-priced outliers (do I hear someone muttering, "Me Rabbit, oh?), all the gas is uniformly priced and --wait for it-- that price can be higher than surrounding areas.
There was a brief moment of glory, back in the late '80s or so, when Tops installed its gas pumps and the manager told me, "We're going to charge the least we can and use it to draw in customers." And they did. And we did (go there). Tops forced pricing down (memories are always golden) about 30 cents overnight (and, back then, 30 cents was a lot). But then they lost their desire (I guess) to be competitive and prices drifted upward until they we back to...bad.

They insist on pumping gas for you. Selection inside is pretty lacking. No reason to go here instead of any other nearby gas station, all of which are better.

Service quality is okay most of the time. My biggest issue is with the low quality of gasoline at this particular location. Both vehicles I've taken here have experienced stalling, spuddering and idling very low. I've fixed this by purchasing gasoline elsewhere. I would recommend the company check for potential contamination within their fuel storage tanks.

Employees there act like you are bothering them to do the job they are getting paid for! They are Rude and Disrespectful, one in particular, heavyset and bearded has the worst attitude. I took my business elsewhere and will never go back!

The quality of service here has gone Way DOWNHILL! I don't get gas here anymore, they need to Fire those Rude and Disrespectful "employees" because they are loosing customers.

Stopped here this morning and I waited 5 minutes for the full service guy to wait on me. Then when the guy comes to my car, he says the gas tank is on the wrong side which is my fault. So I leave and go to parallel park in another spot to get filled and another guy waits on me. He tells me the car is too far away from the pump which was a lie.

Went to go get gas....during a BUSY friday. Had to wait 10 minutes for a shift change... seriously? Why do we have to wait for a shift change to get gas...?

4 worker's standing around the store smoking not a single one come out to pump gas I thought this was full service gas station
