IKEA

This place is very reasonably big and spacious,the lighting and atmosphere are great. They sell a variety of items for kitchens,bed and bath etc. They have mini showroom display for kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms and outdoors. I wish the staff were a little more helpful. I showed a pics to one of the staff and she pointed to kitchen. I had looked around for several minutes before asking her about the item.

This store is so bright clean and spacious. Everything is on one level. Plenty of room to roam. Beautiful displays. There is even a display set up for outdoor furniture. I entered through the Queens Bld entrance.
You can also enter through the side entrance adjacent to the ($)parking garage. The back door is only for exiting the store. You will also find a ramp there for wheelchairs, strollers etc to also exit.

*when the store reaches maximum capacity you will not be able to enter through the main entrance. You will have to stand on line at the parking garage entrance.

*the self check out is now available

*they are now serving a limited amount of fresh prepared food. Including Swedish meatballs.

I’ve been shopping at IKEA stores since the very first one opened in Pennsylvania years ago, so I’m quite happy to have one open so close to me, even if it is just a “mini-IKEA” occupying what used to be a Sears store. I found the staff to be very helpful, and the challenge for the store manager will be to sustain that employee enthusiasm after the Grand Open is a distant memory. Because of Covid-induced supply chain problems, many products that they intend to carry aren’t there yet (the same products other IKEAs are out of). I bought cinnamon rolls you could bake at home (a new food product) and they were GREAT this morning with coffee!

Glad to see Ikea in my neighborhood. Great location for this business. You can find a lot of affordable things for your home. People really love plants with pots available for purchasing.

Great store, quality products, customer service and thousands of products

When I come here, I end up looking at a lot of things. Sofas, tables, kitchen utensils. It's a lot of fun. But I think Brooklyn is better for more products.

Not as big as the other IKEA I've been to, so it's not the same experience of room after room of displays..but they still manage to stock a lot. I knew what I wanted so I ordered on line. The pick-up process was amazingly efficient. I received an email telling me my order was ready and giving me clear instructions. I went to the parking lot, clicked the "Check in" button on the email, walked in the door and my order was waiting for me on a cart which I wheeled to my car. I loaded it up. I was in and out so fast I didn't even have to pay for parking! Great system, friendly customer service. Definitely recommend.

Nice guy who made my order asked if I like extra gravy. Nice dinner order of Swedish meatballs. The cranberry sauce excellent. Store has a couple of pleasant sales help. Interesting home items all around the store.

Well organized, with basic stuff of ikea. There were no arrows on the floor so it was harder to navigate

I came all the way to this location from the Lower Eastside of Manhattan.
They really need to make a full scale IKEA near me with all the stuff that this store has.
I love coming shopping..some of the stuff here is a little over -priced though.
And the food court should be better stocked with more than a swedish meatball meal.
What happened to the pulled pork bbq sandwich meal??
I came all the way there for it and they didn't have them ,nor did they have any cinnamon buns or any of the better food I always go here for..and I was embarrassed b/c I bragged about it to a friend and then got nothing good at arrival.
Please be well prepared and stocked on the best selling food items first ..and have faster food preparers ..the food preparers look like they are in the Kitchen creating artwork and not meals for the masses

This place is awesome, clean and customer service is also awesome!!! The bathroom is one of the cleanest I have been to, it even has an emergency button; something I haven’t seen in other restrooms around the neighborhood. Will definitely go back!!

I like IKEA! I have a lot of furniture and bedding from IKEA.

If you are driving here, your parking space is going to be on the first floor, it says for 1 and 1A. After entering the store, you'll find out there's someone standing at the very front of the store, they are very helpful and kind. I came and specifically looking for storage bags, and she was quickly able to point me to where I was going. Though I wasn't able to find many of what I was looking for, I was able to get in and out of the store relatively quickly because of her help.

It's closing for good, sadly. I think a full-scale IKEA may have done better in Queens. One can still hope! A lil' store like the one we had might have been a better fit in Manhattan.

Love IKEA. They need to regulate the supply chain cuz usually there's a lot of products that the store doesn't have in stock. Either it's the supply chain or people buy everything quickly. You can always get stock online though before taking a trip there.

Sad to see this place closing. Much smaller that the BK and LI spots but all the essentials plus the hot food bar. Oh well. It was great while it lasted

Loved that they opened a location in Queens. Less than 2 years they are closing it. What a shame. Brooklyn location really inconvenient and not planning to ever go back, not sure who made this horrible decision.

Have you tried their swedish meatballs, so tasty!! Too bad the price went up. I enjoy shopping at Ikea! You go for a couple of items but end up spending $$$$. They need to have more employees available to answer questions on where to find some items.

I love it! It’s a perfect for just running in and your IKEA essentials (tea lights, storage bags, pots for plants) light bulbs, etc.). Lots of self check out counters. Also, there is a subway entrance right at the front door. Everything is very clean and carts are sanitized as soon as you are done using them.
