Comfort Suites Columbus East Broad

We checked in pretty late but the guy at the check was very nice and check in took very fast! He gave us complimentary chips and soda or water our room kind of smelled like old smoke when we walked in.. the smell went away after us getting comfortable .. or we got used to it?? Beds are very comfortable and showers are nice too. Staff is out and beyond nice !! Breakfast is included and is just the normal hotel breakfast you would get. The hotel is clean overall . Would I come here again? It depends.. but probably yes overall it was pretty nice.

Not sure where the recent bad reviews are coming from.

We stayed for 1 night last week, and the place was great.
Large, clean room, with comfy beds.
Breakfast in morning was good, parking was well lit and safe.
Also, didn't mind our groups' small/quiet parking lot party (after a long day of travel) which was appreciated.

Check in and out was a breeze too

Great customer service, rooms were spacious and just an overall great stay. The one complaint I would have is that I had never been to a hotel that you could hear people on the next floor walking. Other than that an awesome experience.

Sai is the man! He was working the front desk the evening we checked in. Very professional, nice and all around good guy. Check in was quick and easy. From the moment we walked in we were treated very well by all the staff. The hotel was very clean. I wish I had taken a picture before we got all of our stuff in there. Breakfast was your standard fare (waffles, eggs, sausage patty, bagels, toast, yogurt etc). There were tons of places nearby to eat & shop. It is also very close to the airport.

The young guy at the front desk was very friendly welcoming. Lobby smells great. Clean lobby and clean rooms. Must have been very recently renovated. Very up to date property and rooms. Haven’t had any issues with my stay.

Had some difficulty with our keys, but was taken care of by the nice guy at the desk. A strange couple knocked on our door twice. I yelled through the door that the room was taken and both times they left. The desk clerk came to our room and apologized for the disturbance. In all, it was pretty uneventful and comfy. I would stay here agsin.

Travelling for work. Last minute reservation. Easy check-in. Welcoming staff. The room was great! Newly remodeled and clean!!

Stayed here as my sister was having surgery the next day at Mount Carmel East. Connor was my check in host and was awesome! He made sure I got the right room we needed and made sure we got to the room okay. The room was spacious ADA equipped with microwave, small fridge, iron/ironing board, and hair dryer. Nice larger TV, with desk and couch. They also offer breakfast in the morning. I would definitely recommend.

The room was very nice and comfy. If you're ever in town I say choose the Comfort Suites in this area. stay. Trust me you'll sleep well and the coffee is great too.

I stayed there for business. I was given a newly renovated room. Like newly, newly! The room was so big and clean and the bed was so comfortable. I also got an amazing service at the front desk, that night. If an ever go back to the area, I'll stay there again, that's for sure.

This comfort inn was the best one yet that we stated at so far. Overall two thumbs up. The pool was very small 3feet and 4feet deep. We will be back next time in Columbus.

We came into town for a family funeral. We had 2 rooms. When we checked
into the hotel and recieved key cards we immediately had issues. We had one room where the key cards would not work. When my husband went to get new key cards the gentleman had the desk continued to tell him it was our fault that we had done something to magnetic srtip when all we did was walk down the hall. We were staying there for 4 days and the first day we came back to our room and it had not been cleaned we had put our do not disturb sign out earlier and gave them the benefit of the doubt that maybe we had not takes the sign off. The next day we came back and our rooms had still not been cleaned or we had not been given new linens. When we went to the desk the same guy was there and told us we had to request our rooms to be cleaned, which we had not been told at check in. When I told him we needed clean towels he said if I brought back all our dirty towels he would try and find us clean towels. I told him I had never stayed in a hotel that didn't clean the rooms. He told me he had worked in hospitality for a long time and had never heard of rooms being cleaned...when my husband took the towels down to him he said he would have to walk around and put the towels all the way down to this door. My husband refused and the man told my husband he needed to calm down when he refused. We had also requested a working iron because the one in our room did not work They said they would try and find one for us and never heard from them again!! The rooms were not very clean at all and the carpet was stained and dirty. We normally stay at the Holiday Inn across the street but unfortunately they were booked. We will never stay in a Comfort Inn again. Very disappointed all around.

Overall the hotel was a really nice place to stay. During my stay, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and clean. The pool/ hot tub were both really nice and well kept. My only complain about my entire stay was the breakfast selection wasn't the greatest. I say that lightly since it was included with the room but still would have been nice to have better options. Other than that, I am very pleased with my stay.

Arrived late and was checked in by Barbara ( I believe that was her name. She works grave shift and has for ten years per our conversation) From the moment my husband and I walked in we were treated well. Barbara was friendly and helpful. She answered any questions we had and was wonderful! The room was clean and well maintained. Didn't get to have breakfast because we slept in late, but the breakfast area was clean and neat. Would definitely stay here again. I have not had too much luck with Choice Hotels in the past. This property has restored my hope in the company.

My husband and I attended a national car show and we stayed here for 4 nights. It was one of the nicest Comfort Suites that we have stayed. Room and overall hotel was clean, staff was very friendly and the location was near several restaurants. Water pressure for shower could improve as well as the hot water. Overall, it was a great place and we will definitely return.

The staff here were great. The gentleman at the front desk on the night of my arrival was very helpful in making sure that I arrived at the right hotel by giving me adequate directions. The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. My son and I enjoyed the little work out room.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The staff were great and were able to accommodate me even though I arrived well before the scheduled check-in time. My room was bigger than expected and appeared to be cleaned meticulously. The king sized bed was a nice touch and helped contribute to a good night's sleep. Overall, a lovely hotel that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Columbus area.

Wanted a night out of the house with my hubby and son. This hotel was very nice, and clean and staff was very friendly. Pool area and workout room was clean we enjoyed
both area's. We didn't have breakfast because we aren't breakfast people. I work for a choice hotel myself here in Ohio and stayed a quiet a few here in ohio and this one is the best one I've stayed at with my family for a local hotel. We will for sure be back.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were very nice and clean. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, safe, and quiet place to stay. I'm very happy with our stay. We are planning to just get away for couple days for pleasure and now I know where we will be going. An emergency brought us there this time; but we loved it so much, we will be returning. Just want to say thank you to the staff. Keep up the great work and being so kind and helpful.

My brother, Mike Case and I stayed for 4 nights last week at this Comfort Suites and will definitely return. The hotel is clean and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Barb (night auditor) and Diane (daytime clerk). Both ladies went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Great place to stay!!
