Very nice bookstore, great taste of collection. And I love the postcard section, so cute! They have an awesome cookbook corner and an adorable children’s corner as well. Tucked in DeWitt Mall, satisfies needs for recreational books as well as serious ones

This independent bookstore has a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. It's well-curated collection allows the browser to be surprised and/or be exposed to new voices. Frequent author readings and other events make for a vibrant community of readers who help support the store via ownership.

For three years now my husband has gifted me with a "book of the month" for my birthday gift. Lisa chooses the BEST books....many I might never have picked up yet always a good read. Sharing the books and the write up that comes with each book let's me gift my friends as well. AND it supports our own local book store! Our grandchildren have loved subscriptions as well.

Iconic bookstore. I have been fortunate to shop here but also, participate in and attend events and would recommend everyone stop in. Loving, inclusive, book-obsessed people who will welcome guests with open arms.

My only complaint is that I can’t live in there.

Great selection! Truly; found three good art books, and great selection of books for kids.

A great local bookstore. They offer a Drag Storytime the last Sunday of the month. The storytellers were great and packed their stories with a lot of additional information. As entertaining for adults as it is kids. There are comfortable places to sit and a very welcoming shop.

I love this place. The amount of effort they put into creating a diverse book selection for all ages is really impressive, and I know that if I look at their staff picks I’ll find something great.

My favorite thing about this book stores that they still do release events for books. And they also have other events that are definitely cool. I try to order all my books here because I don't want this place to go out of business. they've had some trouble in the past staying in business so go here spend your money on books if you can.

Terrific. One of the last independent bookstores. Customer supported. Unique selections. I got two great books I couldn't get anywhere else save Amazon with no chance to browse. Go! Try it!

An excellent coop-owned independent bookstore. Nice homey vibe and good selections. Downtown location close to other good shopping. Feels better to buy local than to support Amazon, etc.

Buffalo Street Books is a wonderful independent bookstore in Ithaca--and is a cooperative so people can buy a share. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the new release, fiction, and children's sections are especially strong. The bookstore also works hard to cultivate strong ties to the community and to schedule interesting events.

All around just lovely. Staff are friendly and helpful - great atmosphere - lots of interesting events.

It's wonderful and peaceful and smells fabulous.

I always order from BSB instead of online.
It's also a good place to get calendars and planner books. A decent selection of moleskine, and a few others.
