Gorgeous View Motel

The name says it all :-) The view IS gorgeous.

Typical motel, park in front, have a chat with your neighbors.

A bit hard to get the key, go to the main building and ring the "here-live-normal-people" bell - so not too much stars for the Service.

Nice area for trips around. Some craggy valleys nearby.

I guess this is the best spot for a day break on a road trip from Niagara to the East Coast.

If you're lucky (as we have been), driving to the east coast, you may enter a dragster race in the middle of nowhere (google it!).

I showed up at the office and called the number on the door. They picked up right away and got me into the room immediately!

Place appears to be freshly remodeled, with a truly gorgeous view!

We needed a room last minute and stayed here. Not a fancy place , but our room was newly remodeled and so clean. The bed was comfortable and the view was great!

1st impression smells good, very clean, Completely updated throughout along with the new floors. Nice and clean single shower. The owner is very nice and even helped us find another place to stay because they were full for the up coming weekend. The beds were actually comfortable and that says a lot because I always have a hard time sleeping when I am not in my own bed. I did bring my own pillow it is like my Master Card I dont leave home without it.
We will be staying here again.

Beautiful view. Old fashioned motel completely remodeled and clean. No dirty carpet. Great hostess. Hot strong shower. This might be our new favorite hotel and town.

My husband and I decided to visit the Finger Lakes region after dropping our daughter off at college. I picked Gorgeous View after reading the glowing reviews. I was not disappointed. We arrived early and our room was still being cleaned but we were allowed to drop our bags and use the restroom. We also spoke to the lady cleaning the rooms. She told about her favorite winery tour in the area. We took her advise and headed up north to Three Brothers Winery. She was spot on. It was a fantastic place. We came back early in the evening and enjoyed the complimentary fire pit. As we were starting the fire, the owner came out and spoke to us and brought us some extra kindling.

My husband and I both loved the homey feel. The room was very clean and simple. We enjoyed the complimentary snacks that evening while we hung out playing cards. I highly recommend! Oh, and the view is gorgeous!

I organized a group of 13 of us who rented 7 of the 8 rooms for 6 nights. The beds are comfortable. We slept like babies. The view is indeed gorgeous. We enjoyed the view of the sailboats gliding up and down Seneca Lake. The cleaning staff is attentive, kind and thorough. The on site management was friendly and accommodating. We were very pleased with the option to grill out or eat out. We did both well. I would highly recommend that you stay here.

The views from this motel are indeed outstanding. The place is just what we needed to have a base for all of the outside activities we planned. There's a mini fridge and microwave in each room, so we were able to bring home leftovers (and coffeemaker in the room, too). It's also in a centralized location which is very convenient.

Great little motel! Super clean, comfortable beds and the bathroom was sparking clean and the shower was great! The owners put out firewood for the fire pit and they were super nice and accommodating. Perfect spot and the view is gorgeous.

I’ve stayed here before a couple years ago, it was very clean and the staff was friendly. I think of coming back here just because of how peaceful and tranquil my stay was. I’d love to experience it again.

Incredible value, very friendly host (Brenda)...large rooms were spotless clean. Cleanest of all hotels we've ever been. We will be making this our regular accommodation when travelling to Watkins Glen.

We stayed here for days for anniversary. Stephanie was a doll, very kind!! Rooms were very, very clean. If your looking for bells and whistles then look at another, HOWEVER, if your looking for a comfy, extremely clean, and affordable place to lay your head then I would HIGHLY recommend gorgeous view. You will not be disappointed!

Really simple place just far enough away from the glen to be close but not closed in on by the town. 8 rooms side by side that all overlook a highway, and then the lake. Newly remodeled, my bathroom had nice tiling in it. Comfy and reasonably priced.

This is a quaint, no-frills motel that met all my needs. The room was clean and neat with two beds, plenty of towels, coffee maker and, yes, a gorgeous view. I would definitely stay there again.

It was a last minute decision to grab a room. Everywhere we stopped looked closed and we seen their vacancy sign. The number to call was written on a sign. We woke the couple up, I felt horrible because it was 2AM. They were great, nice room with beautiful view of the lake.

Very Clean, comfortable and Cozy. Treats in the fridge and on the table, They had the heat running prior to our arrival with reservations. It does have a Gorgeous View! Would highly recommend.

I am staying here for a week. So far the only complaint I have is lack of dresser. Everything else is great. It is clean the beds are very comfortable,and the staff I have met is friendly. I know I will stay here again. And the view really is "gorgeous "
