What a great little shop. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the pungent smell of chocolate throughout the store. Upon closer inspection you are met with a cornucopia of different candies. Aside from having all 3 types of chocolate available, they have as many customizations as you can think of for the chocolates. The prices are very fair and for the quality of the chocolate it's totally worth it. The chocolate is all homemade there, and they do a great job as the taste of the chocolate is delicious. The dark chocolate in particular is so good...I'd put it above hershey's dark chocolate in taste. The great bonus is that there doesn't appear to be any milk listed in the ingredients for the dark chocolate, probably making it vegan friendly. To top it all off the store is very clean and cozy inside, please give this place your business as they deserve it.

Delicious! Their jelly bars are my go-to when I am headed to or from the ferry. There's also nostalgic bagged candy of all different types. Basically, something for everyone. There's sugar-free available for those that like or require it. It's a must stop place if you haven't already been there. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth it.

The BEST chocolate shop on Long Island. Nothing fancy just great chocolate. And if you go during strawberry season you’ll be in for a real treat; chocolate covered strawberries. So worth the drive!

The Candy Man is the best place to go to get Dark or milk chocolate candy! They also have every other kind of candy you can think of! They make specialty candy for holidays like Easter, Christmas, Halloween, Passover, They make so many different baskets and they also have stuffed animals too! Many novelty items too! But the quality of the candy is outstanding! I’m a dark chocolate person! I think it’s much better then Godiva! Not as expensive per pound either. A pound is about $20. And worth every penny! Excellent quality! They also have cordial filled candies, chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate covered marshmallows, chocolate covered fruits, chocolate covered marshmallows, Probably anything your looking for they have! Been going there for many years! The ride is definitely worth it! There dark chocolate covered graham cracker cookies are fantastic! They have dark chocolate rum candies, dark chocolate covered marzipan, dark chocolate orange peel, dark chocolate truffles, dark chocolate coconut cream, raspberry cream, orange cream, caramel covered, caramel & almond, caramel & cashew, caramel & walnut, dark chocolate covered apricot, covered cherry, covered jelly, orange & cherry, so so many more! Even sugar free for those who are sugar limited! You can buy a few pieces to a few pounds! There are so many gift boxes and small bags of many kinds of candies throughout the store too! If you love candy and/or chocolate you must visit The Candy Man! I guarantee you will not be disappointed! ❤

I've been going to the Candyman for as long as I can remember. Their chocolate is superb and as good as any I've ever had. The really amazing thing - besides the chocolates themselves - is that at every holiday they have the most fantastical molds in an array of shapes you never really see anymore. They will also ship chocolate, which is nice to surprise people with as an unexpected gift. They have lots of gifts and other candies as well but I'm nuts for the dark chocolate cherries & the caramels!

So sad this will be gone at seasons end. Been coming there over 60. Yrs.. back when it was a garage and you bke w your horn for him to open! We called it Go Blow Your horn!. Their molasses sponge with dark chocolate is fabulous! And butter crunch is the best!

We've been going there for the most amazing chocolate molds. Every holiday they have a different collection different shapes. But most of all the chocolate is DELICIOUS! Beautiful+delicious=perfection!😍

No one does homemade chocolate and candy better than The Candy Man! I've been coming here for all my chocolate needs since I was a child. Yes they have gotten more expensive over the years, but they are worth it. My favorites are the milk chocolate covered pretzels, dark chocolate raspberry jellies, milk and dark chocolate almond bark, and no one does jelly beans better!

This is where I discovered chocolate covered strawberries! They usually used to source them locally from the Latham farm in June. It is a must-try! A pound was $12 back in 2000, I have no idea how much it is now, but surely worth every penny!

I was like the proverbial "kid in a candy shop"! Even if you just bring your kids (or favorite adults) in for a lollipop, go check this place out. We bought a box of chocolates for friends, raspberry jellies and maple marshmallows for ourselves. They had everything...including European Candies I grew up with. A definite must-see in Orient Point.

Ever since I was a little girl we took a trip every now and then to the candy man. It's always such a nice thing to do. They have all sorts of little tchotchkes that are really cute. The chocolate from is always wonderful. High quality and worth every penny.

My favorite thing to get are the dark chocolate covered marzipan. To die for. When my family went we always got the chocolate covered pretzels and they never lasted very long. There is also chocolate for any seasonal events that are always adorable.They have always been consistent and little has changed in all the time I can remember.

If chocolate isn't your think there are plenty of others to choose from. Licorice to sour gummies to gummy sharks they got it. I only wish I lived a little further east so i can stop by more often.

Only downside to this place is that they close during the winter months but with how dead everything gets out there you can hardly blame them. If your out in greenport take a trip past the causeway you won't be disappointed.

The Candyman has a great assortment of both milk dark and some white chocolate candies with every possible filling you could want! (Every nut, cream, marzipan, orange peel, jelly, coconut, melt away, They also have chocolate covered pretzels, cordials, malt balls chocolate covered marshmallows, chocolate covered graham cracker cookies, lollipops and other types of candies like licorice, hard candies, taffies, jelly beans, gum balls, and pretty much every kind of candy you can think of! They also have some sugar free chocolate candies as well! It’s like a little touch of heaven! They also have stuffed animals and paintings and gift boxed candies and special arrangements for holidays! When you walk in the smell of the handmade candies is so wonderful! So inviting! The staff are helpful and pleasant! I enjoy going there with my mom several times a year! It’s an hour ride from home but we’ll worth the trip! The prices are reasonable especially because the quality is outstanding! No other chocolatier comes close to the quality and fresh delicious taste of the Candyman products! We have been to many other stores in our travels over the decades. Nothing. And no one comes close to the high quality of the Candyman!

The sweet young lady working (Madison) was so polite and helpful. Her suggestion was Delicious .The chocolate was rich and creamy. Our local favorite. A must have on your journey through the North Fork!

My only regret about this place is that I didn't get more. The chocolate covered pretzels were phenomenal. My fiancé is still talking about his licorice. This stop is a must!
