Reserves Park is a hidden gem for those looking for a quick and easy outdoor escape. The well-maintained paved out-and-back trail, which is approximately 1 mile long and takes around 15 minutes to complete, offers a peaceful retreat from the bustling city. Although the park sits next to a busy highway, the trail provides a serene escape that is only briefly interrupted by the occasional engine noise. The entrance to the park is greeted by the massive Fort Liberty Playland, a children's playground that adds to the park's peaceful and family-friendly atmosphere. As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across a disc golf course, and I even witnessed two people playing during my visit. Halfway through the park, there is another entrance and parking lot, as well as a smaller children's playground for younger visitors. The west end of the park features a tranquil lake that offers a refreshing break. During my visit, the park was bustling with activity, with many people walking their dogs, playing with their children, or simply enjoying the sunshine. Reeves Park may not be the most spectacular park, but its simple and unassuming charm is what makes it special. I would highly recommend a comfortable pair of walking shoes for your hike, and consider bringing your children or pets along for a fun and enjoyable experience.

Great little park with a perfect beginner disc golf course. I was able to take my 7yr old and he enjoyed it!

The updated playground equipment is nice, and the outdated ones are still mostly functional.

A great little pond as well!

Great park, the Disc Golf course is one of my favorites! It's a good open course to practice all kinds of throws and approaches, the 18 hole course is typically not too busy, but he mindful of the family's

I love taking a trip to Reserves Park on a sunny day. The disc golf course is well-maintained and welcoming to all skill levels, while the lake area is perfect for a relaxing walk. There's even a new playground for kids of all abilities to play on!

2 large play parks within walking distance on walking trail. 1 large wooden play area and 1 metal/hard plastic. Multiple slides, swings and other activities. Plenty of park benches and picnic tables, including 2 covered picnic areas. Very clean.

This is a great handicap accessible park that was awesome for our smaller 3 y/o children. Only restroom option on the parking lot side seemed to be a port a pottybbut I read there was an actual restroom if you follow the walking path down to the other side of the park. There is a decent sized shelter with picnic tables here as well that was being used for a graduation party that seemed convenient.

Great playground for the kids, especially with the rubberized ground covering, and the paved walking trail is an easy stroll for all ages. The disc golf course is beginner level, nothing too challenging, but a terrific way to introduce new players to the game without overwhelming them. Highly recommended.

What a fun place for littles. We have gone fishing in the lake a couple of times and up the hill there is a wonderful park with a castle. This is a great place to spend time in nature with your loved ones. It is clean and lovely in all seasons

A nice park with a great walking trail, a pond, and a very cool playground for all ages of children. Climbing rock, wheelchair access, and a wheelchair swing. Traffic from 129 is a bit loud, but becomes white noise after a while.

Nicely maintained frisbee golf course. 9 holes. Great course for beginners as there are not too many hazards to get tripped up on and distances are not too far. Be careful of poison ivy in the treeline between the 7th and 8th holes!

Great place for people still learning how to play disc golf still or for the first time. Its a small court and easy for someone who plays often but good for beginners.
