Viscount Wines & Liquor

When I moved here a year ago, someone told me to take a look at Viscount, especially for the wine selection. Ever since, it has been my go-to for both wine and spirits. The selection is great, and there are plenty of knowledgeable people to help with suggestions and selection. If you are new to Viscount, be sure to join their customer loyalty program. Many items are marked with a discount price only for members. There is plenty of parking and generous hours of operation.

I called them to ask a favor I didn't expect them to do (something to do with a grubhub order, no need 4 details). I figured I was being a spoiled brat. Lol. Becky had to MacGyver through it but she and her associate (manager?) came through no questions asked. Truly your friendly neighborhood retailer. Thanks again guys!

Whole team worked together to make my experience fast and easy, special shout out to Brian, he was behind the counter and was able to look up my old account, when the little I was looking for was not in stock, he was able to give me helpful recommendations to alternatives. He was knowledgeable and funny even at 7:45 at night, in total you have a great team working here please keep them!

Amazing wine and liquor store! They really have everything and I love how it's organized. So fun to shop here! You could go wild with the selection they have from around the world. Love how they mark wines that are vegan and even explain what vegan wines are. Never seen that in a liquor store before. They also have a rewards program for frequent shoppers :)

This is the place to go in the Mid Hudson Valley. This store is huge it used to be . It's like walking into the Home Depot of liquors. But it's not corporate. It's truly mammoth, 40,000 square foot, Viscount Wine and Liquors in Wappinger Falls. It's run by great people that employ far more people than most stores would. So when you need someone they're there to tell you about whatever you're looking for - wine or liquor there are no comparisons in price or service.

I spent 20 minutes talking to two employee's about flavored vodka vs flavoring it myself. And I'm so glad I didn't listen to myself and bought a great lemon flavored vodka for my drinks on New Years.

This is a huge family store - if you drink or are buying drinks spend your money here you won't be sorry.

Best liquor store in the area, hands down. Enormous selection, if it's not on the shelf they can usually get it for you.

The staff is friendly and helped me find several bottles. Even when you know exactly what you want finding it can often be a challenge because of the size of the selection.

They always have several registers open for fast checkout, they actually do this better than Walmart and Home depot.

They offer their own house credit card and provide veterans with discounts.

If you have exotic taste, shopping for a party, tasting party, making you tube videos this store has everything you need.

We must share the great experience we had today with Ian. We were shopping for a variety of red wines to stock our Granddaughter's wine fridge for Christmas. We had a budget and limited wine knowledge. Ian took his time and suggested 6 different bottles-from 5 countries and different price points. He explained the properties of each one, what region they were from and with which foods they paired best. Our son, who is knowledgeable with wine selections, was very excited with the variety and choices of wine. Ian made our shopping experience a pleasure. The experience of working with him and selecting each wine turned out to be a gift to us as well as for our Granddaughter. Totally enjoyable and educational!! Doreen and Anthony Chiulli
