Awesome place, I had never been but my cousin told me to stop by so I did. I needed new skates, they helped me out quickly & were very friendly, got me a great deal on Bauer skates, very pleased with service. Will be returning next time I need gear.

Before I got a sparkX this is where I’d sharpen my skates and is still my go to for hockey gear I earlier this year bought roller blades and got an amazing deal they have dogs and amazing customer service and whoever is complaining about a skate sharpens time what do you expect as they probably had to unpack the machine just for you and the management is some of the best I’ve ever seen so that person must think the world revolves around them but for me it’s amazing

AWESOME. That's the best way to describe this place. Mrs. & Mr. McCabe are a dying breed of shop owners. They provide old fashioned customer service by treating the you like they are the only person in the store. Sometimes you have to wait to be helped, don't fret, you'll get the same attention as the person before you. Plus, they have their two dogs (Sid the chocolate lab and Cici the golden retriever puppy) to keep you company while you wait. Skate sharpening is only $5 many times this can be done while you wait.
