Super 8 by Wyndham Long Island City LGA Hotel

Rooms are very clean and modern. Front desk is great. Location is great. Price is amazing without deposit. (Treat the rooms well and don't ruin this.) I only gave service three stars because the room attendants were too loud in front of my door.

I was a little apprehensive about staying here based on some scary Google reviews, but for the price I paid and what I got in hotel and location I think it was a very satisfactory stay. Room was clean and well-appointed, my 'do not disturb' sign was respected. They pretty much stay out of your business but seem helpful if you need them.

Room was basic but staff was very accommodating. Friendly front desk and cleaning crew who were happy to help with questions. Parking lot in the back is great and area is safe. 10 min walk to the ferry to Manhattan. Would stay again!

Loved this place, two bedrooms, two beds in one and one in the other, very spacious and cheap by New York standards. Views of Empire State and Chrysler buildings out the window. Supermarket and many dining options close by, easy commute to Manhattan by Q100 bus and then F or E trains. Very safe area, I walked at night and never felt in any danger. Front desk and housecleaning staff were wonderful and helpful. Breakfast was basic but very good and a bonus to have it provided. Highly recommended.

I loved this place. If you want a five star hotel, this is not it. However, the staff (Zully I believe her name is) was amazing. She was fantastic at the front desk. All the staff we encountered were kind and helpful. They have free breakfast, which was helpful. Limited but still was a big bonus with 3 kids. The room was outdated but very clean and comfortable. There is free parking and a bus stop right out front. The train station is a short walk away. There was a fridge in the room, tv with a good amount of channels and close by food that delivers. The price was great and couldn't have asked for more. Will definitely stay here again.

I had a problem with the room. But I give this place a 5 star rate because the employee was patient and respectful. He also fixed the problem. That's what good service means. 👏

The hotel is walking distance to all the local shops. Room service is excellent. The air conditioning was up to date and serviced. The rooms were clean and tidy. The Receptionist was so chatty and friendly. Definitely will choose TBS hotel again.

I stayed at the Super 8 on 14th and Broadway in June 2018 during a trip to New York City. The hotel was quiet and the room was clean. Being right across the street from a school leads me to believe the area is at least marginally safe (for New York) and we never had a single bit of trouble while we were there.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The night auditor was friendly and helpful, and we will definitely stay here again when we return to New York.

Was a motel called the "turf motor inn" back in the day.
I would think this present motel is still better, than it was back in the day. MAYBE ?
The turf motor inn as it was called back in the day. Was a short stay motel. 2 hours or 3 hours. MIRRORED CEILINGS, WATERBEDS on the first floor.
On the 2nd floor lived welfare recipients at that time.
I had a good time back then. A lot of poker games went on back than.

Zully and Wilfredo (Willie) made this stay a delight! Good communication and very helpful, felt like staying with old friends. We are confident enough to come back in the near future...cleaning staff did well. Beds and pillows are excellent, bathroom is small as is everything in NY area

The lady there was super friendly and helpful!! She got us what we wanted and helped us get a Taxi ride to the airport as well. The gentleman there was also friendly and even supportive. I really appericate them both and wanted give them 5 stars for their kind gesture to me and my sister!!

Great for what it is: a 2-star motel with smoking allowed in some rooms, cheap, free parking, and always something available. Don't expect a towel larger than a dinner napkin or toiletries, make sure you take the bed spread off the bed and don't step barefoot on the bathroom floor.

Thw hotel has a Friendly staff. The surrounding is quiet and close to LGA. Food options are about 10 min walking distance. Our rooms was clean and had microwave & refrigerator. We liked our stay.

Great hotel for the price. Clean room and free parking. Bus is right across the street that connects with the N or R train.
