Quality Inn & Suites South/Obetz

The hotel was very nice you can tell they're going through some renovations however it was great place to stay. And the employee that was working the front desk when I checked in was and Angel and went above and beyond to help me out and the timing was unbelievable. I appreciate your kindness and look forward to visiting again. Thank you again!

This is one of the worst hotels I ever worked at in my entire hotel experience! The GM Zeek is very rude and mean to people he get smart and everytime you try to talk to him he get mad and yell and take you off the schedule for weeks at a time his room inspector is very rude also and don’t know how to clean rooms or make a bed and when I asked to help her she called me out my name and said I know how to make a bed and she also don’t work just sit in her car on the phone and smoking cigarettes and if she do go in a room she sit in the bathroom on her phone playing games . I had to call multiple people on him because he wouldn’t pay me because I asked him to have Saturday off for my religion beliefs(Church) and he yelled at me and said we don’t do that at this hotel but then he calls off every Sunday for church..the rooms are very nasty room have mold in them and the curtains have mold on them as well as the ceilings this hotel was not ready for open and they opened it anyways.

The staff are very friendly and the lobby is clean but the hotel in dire need of renovations. It’s worth your money as they do offer free breakfast and 24/7 coffee (which is EXCEPTIONAL)! The carpets (in the hallway and room) are clean but stained. The room I got was spacious and clean with a designated luggage holder and a functional closet. The bathroom is okay, it was very clean and the TV, microwave and refrigerator worked perfectly. Overall it’s amazing for the price you pay, it just needs renovation. Did I mention that there are 5 fast food chains within a 0.2 mile radius? Well yes it conveniently located near to Arby’s, Chipotle, McDonald’s, Taco Bell and Wendy’s!

Had to stay here 2 nights, cuz our Septic tank backed up. My family and I rented the room with King bed and sofa. The room was very clean and no odd smells. The place looked pack, but didn't hear anyone once in our room. The bed was very comfortable and shower head pressure was wonderful. The free breakfast was meh. Not much of a selection. The staff was very friendly. Perfect for what we needed.

It was pleasant stay the bed were comfortable and the shower water was hot like it should be didn't eat breakfast check in was quick and efficient and I was able to get a room right away

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Everything worked smoothly from check in to check out. The beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, and breakfast was decent. There was an odd odor when we first stepped in our room, but it went away when the A/C turned on. We also noticed a couple doors that required key access were propped open.

My favorite local hotel. I visit here about twice a month and it's always a good experience. The breakfast leaves a little to be desired but it's ok.

We had a great stay. The room was nice. The staff was great. The breakfast was pretty good. All in all we had a great stay. We will be back

The stay was WONDERFUL! SOME items in the room were a bit outdated... (television) BUT the STAFF made up for SO MUCH MORE! VERY FRIENDLY & ACCOMMODATING! ANYTHING I needed was answered eagerly & with a smile. I would recommend staying at this facility very highly. I would give a rating of 110 on a scale of 1-100 because of the staff at the facility. The accommodations were MORE THAT suitable. The television was the ONLY THING I had seen that someone COULD POSSIBLY complain about during their stay. PEOPLE MAKE THE DIFFERENCE! Quality Inn & Suites by Choice Hotels, 4850 Frusta Drive, Columbus, OH, gets a 10 of 10 Stars in my opinion. Thank you to the staff for making my stay the best decision made during that trip.

The staff was absolutely wonderful! We drive OTR and took a break for a weekend! The truck was safe, nice room, and the staff accommodated anything we needed! It didn't even matter what shift, they were all great and would definitely go back if in the area! Thanks for making our stay feel like home!

We honestly have nothing bad to say about this hotel. Leann went above and beyond as well as the other front desk staff. The manager is very understanding and will work with you in any way possible. ITS A VERY clean hotel. We were in the area for work and if we were to come back we'd stay again. Rooms were clean and very spacious. Not one issue with check in or rooms. I recommend this hotel to anyone. They are overall amazing!!!!!!

The stay was great for the price. The room/bathroom was clean, and the bed/linens were clean. We pulled the couch bed out and you can tell it hadn't been used in quite a while so we didn't use it either! The only "issue" we had was that our room had an odd smell when we arrived. After a few mins, we realized there were 4 "stink bugs" in the room near the window! (which could've been why the room had an odd smell) I had to catch them in a bag and put them in the garbage can by the elevator. Not sure how they got in the room, but we assume it had to be thru the air conditioning unit. Other than that, our stay was great! We come to the Columbus area for youth basketball tournaments often, so we'll definitely stay here again...

Nice Hotel, conference room is built into the old pool room. The pool is under the floor and the light system is still motion sensor timer so the lights tend to go out every 15 minutes unless someone is regularly moving around near the door. Also there is only one restroom, unisex, for the entire hotel. Otherwise it's a nice hotel.

Highly recommend! Decided to get a hotel on my way to Cincinnati, & I always go with Quality Inn’s because of their great prices and cleanliness of the rooms. Always making my trips go smoothly! The staff was friendly, my room was perfect, and I always get a good deal. Thank you!

Awesome price, great employees, nice fitness room, still serves breakfast and coffee, clean spacious rooms, nice cool air. Couldn't ask for a better deal at a great location. 5 stars for sure. Will stay here Everytime I'm needing a room to stay.

I went here before and returned because it was a great experience the first time and the second time was the same! Vicki had exceptional customer service the first time and even better this time around! I enjoyed my experiences and will return again if I'm in the area.

Awesome hotel we always stay when rooms are available. Use the choice hotel app to book then receive points and I cash in for free stay. Rooms are big and super clean. No riff raff...close to the city but also out of the drama. Quiet location. Great staff couldn't ask for a better place to stay.

Manger at front desk was more than helpful, very friendly. Rooms were clean and there is laundry on site.

We needed a gathering room as a family for a large get together. Had an amazing time and wasn't a bad looking place. Staff seemed to be pleasant and helpful. I'd give this place 5 stars because honestly the people make the place.
