Copper Turret

I stopped between lunch and dinner on a weekday and it was quiet. The servers were available but not intrusive. The steak wrap with roasted veggies was so good! 🔥

Small local place with almost perfect food and very friendly service. The wooden tables and benches, as a good old tavern but the fake gas fire place.

The place is owned by the college, part of SUNY and the kitchen is partly operating by the culinary school. Mostly on spring and summer semester, as waiter said.

Alcohol license should arrive any days now.

Very loud towards 6pm very very busy... but they have separate dining room aside from the bar/dining area that was not quite as noisy. Fairly young students and few elders Food was excellent wait was fairly decent givin how busy they were.. it's a nice lil rustic restaurant they even brew their own beer there it's really kool so all in all A1 + +!!

Thought it is super cool it's a culinary school restaurant. Both the cooks and waitresses were super sweet and the place is so cute and CLEAN. The artichoke dip and chips is one of the best I've ever had! Very good food and will definitely be back!

We always enjoy our dinner here! The kitchen pays close attention to the quality of food, sourcing many ingredients locally. The burgers are great, along with the fried cheese curds and large dinner salads. The prices are reasonable and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. There is usually a nice mix of locals and students.
Also- They did an excellent job during Covid shut downs. Never missing part of our order or had anything wrong- I can’t say that about most restaurants that we ordered from then!

What a great old time charmer. The food is great and the staff are more than pleasant. And it is a non-tipping establishment, although we did leave tips because the service was excellent. We would absolutely come back.

Visited our college kid and took him to dinner here. Blown away by the food. Great tasting and really reasonable prices. Service was quick and all staff we encountered were friendly. Even with a smaller crowd (we went close to closing time) it did seem a little loud in there. Could be the higher ceilings or something. But definitely not something that would keep us from visiting again. We ordered the nachos and 2 different burgers and the spicy chicken sandwich - sides of mac n cheese, fries and onion rings. All were cooked great, made the way we ordered them and sauced/seasoned beautifully. Nachos were a favorite at our table, as were the onion rings!

Pricing on drinks and food is very reasonable and the staff (from the culinary school) are paid a fair wage so tipping is not required. The experience is worth the drive from neighborhood communities (I drove 25 minutes). We've been patrons of the Copper Turret for years.

It's a great place for lunch, the food was really good and the staff was even better. It's a non tipping restaurant and I felt so bad not being able to leave a tip. Especially hard when the service was so amazing. I'll visit anytime I am in town.

I graduated from Morrisville a long time ago. Copper Turret has culinary chefs that are studying at the college. Always have some excellent lunch specials. Enjoy going there for lunch when I can. Service is excellent.

Consistently good food, great atmosphere for casual to semi-formal occasions!

I order a smashed burger and sweet potato fries which were both great. The bartender (Heather) was very personable and had great customer service. I enjoyed the atmosphere and setting. I wasn't able to try their beers so I'll have to do that next time I'm in Morrisville.

Friendly staff, delicious food, welcoming atmosphere

I’m a student at morrisville State college and I’ve been here many times. However the last time i was there which was yesterday February 28, 2018, i ordered the steak tacos and they came out looking great. I then noticed the meat was super rare and when I picked it up it was ice cold. It wasn’t even cooked. I had the waiter come over and told him about it and he looked at me confused like it was supposed to be like that. I got it cooked well done and brought back. Overall good but the one bad experience kinda ticked me off

Awesome food! Appetizers were delicious and not super filling so you could still eat dinner! We had pretzels with cheese and calamari! Both amazing! Dinner was great too! Our entire table got burgets and we were all very satisfied. I highly recommend this restaurant. Also, if you're a Morrisville student you can use your school money instead of actual money. Its a nice alternative if you want something off campus. I will definitely be returning!

Firstly, the food is always great and is complemented by a large craft beer and spirit menu! Copper's menu is always evolving to keep things fresh and exciting. Anyone into local foods and sustainably sourced did will also appreciate it here. This is the only place in Morrisville to get an upscale meal. The fact that they accept dining points and Mustang money is a bonus for students. Great place for dates!

Lovely fine dining. Semi-rustic. Moderate prices and excellent food and services. The calamari is my quite good. Need to check out the brew house when I'm in town the next time.

One of the most welcoming restaurants I've ever been to. Very friendly and nice staff. Treated me like I was a STAR!!!!! They use real napkins (cloth) no paper napkins. The silverware was polished. Very highly recommended

Best fish & chips in central NY. Also has wide variety of other fine dishes, coupled with a grand selection of Beer & wines.
All this at reasonable prices & a warm upstate environment, with excellent service from the staff, makes the Copper Turret a Must stop on Rt 20.

Although the atmosphere leaves a little to be desired (the upstairs room echoes quite a bit) the food and friendly staff make it more than worth it. Everything that I've tried on their (admittedly small) menu has exceeded my expectations!
