Carle's Bratwurst

I love this place it has everything, and you can also eat their. I love the food.

Carles is a staple in Bucyrus. Big community supporter. Fantastic selection of homemade foods in their deli and hot bar. We enjoy eating lunch here, my favorites are their chicken salad and broccoli salad. Can't beat their bratwurst! Fine meat selection. Friendly staff, clean store.

BEST BRATS IN OHIO!!! If you are even close to Bucyrus, YOU MOST STOP and get stocked-up! They also have hot food for a quick family picnic. Very friendly and helpful employees!

The only REAL German potato salad I have had in the US. Good brats at a great price! Good place for lunch to go or to eat in.

Best meat I've ever had in my mouth

We met a friend there while in town. Always good food, then shopping before heading home.

Great place, stop in and grab some some delicious precooked food or grab some to cook up. Can't go wrong with this local store

First time visit, but definitely not my last. Carle's has an interesting set up, being part grocery store and part hot/cold deli - including a "restaurant" area. The selection of meats and dry goods run the gammut of traditional German foods. The store is small enough to accommodate quick shopping trips, and a wide enough selection to accommodate the pickiest shoppers. I found the prices in the store and deli areas to be competitively priced.

Update: I continue to shop Carle's a couple times a month. Had Bourbon Chicken on Friday (it's one of my favorites) and the Pear Crisp. Both delicious!!! I missed getting the Pho again but I'll keep watching for it.

Cinco de Mayo is coming up Thursday, May 5th and the special Hot Bar items they are making for it sound delicious 😋 Love how they keep making new offerings but still our favorites. Saw someone having a Pannini on Friday. It looked so good! I need to try one of those....

I love Carle's. I shop here a couple of times a month. They did an amazing job continuing to serve their customers yet keep staff and customers safe during the pandemic. They have inside dining again, but you can still call ahead and do a curbside pickup if you're more comfortable doing so. I get their Constant Contact email each week so I always know what the daily special is as well as what's on sale. I plan my visits accordingly. The hot bar choices are always delicious, besides the daily special you can choose from soups, sides, (my favorite is the mac & cheese), casseroles, and dessert too. Haven't tried the paninnis yet but they look delicious. They also have a great deli with all kinds of cold salad choices, mac & potato. chicken salad is to die for, also love the egg, tuna and ham salad. Then you can wonder over to the cheese and deli meat area for fresh slices to go. Then move along to the fresh meat showcase with lots of great choices. Personal favorites are the stuffed pork chops, bacon and special grind beef to name a few. Usually grab a few things from the freezer too. Love the variety of bratwurst in the freezer. Recently tried the seedless links and they were a hit for me and hubby! Also like to pickup a small frozen ham loaf and a meat loaf. Makes for an easy week night meal. I've rattled on too long and haven't come close to all they have available for purchase. So just stop and check it out. Don't forget to grab some of their delicious chocolate and a bottle of wine too!

Decent lunch selection with small dining area.... very reasonable prices. Unique establishment with all sorts of brats and sausage, condiments, sauerkraut etc.

Great authentic German food

It was great good food. Drive up outside worked well. The young lady whose Aunt owns the store is always polite and helpful. They don't care if I am dressed up or in farm coveralls. It is just like going to Cheers "everybody knows your name".

They have hot food & also have tables & chairs so you can eat there or takeout. The food is so good & is made fresh daily at this establishment. They have a deli & also fresh meat. Burgers, steaks, bratwurst etc. You can pretty much get whatever you want here. Handicap parking & automatic doors makes it assessable for everyone.

Great brats to eat in or take home. The place is actually a market and deli counter, but with eat-in tables (cafeteria style) as well. Very unique experience ... casual, good for kids/families ... fantastic casual food. Lots of hot or cold side dishes to compliment the great signature bratwurst!

One of the best little shops in town. Great deli & lunch specials! Love all the choices. The beef vegetable soup warmed me on this cold Ohio day.

Stopped for lunch, which was awesome and very reasonably priced, but could have done all kinds of other shopping at their full meat market and lots of speciality items. Has been decades since I've been here. Glad we stopped while passing through Bucyrus.

I love Carle's. Their food is really good & reasonably priced. Their bratwurst is the best & they offer Amish pies, rolls. & cheese, (brought in on Thursdays by Mrs Troyer from an Amish community East of Bucyrus). You can't go wrong, so try it.

This Bavarian German-themed meat store and deli also hosts a daily hot food bar with delicious à la carte meals quickly served for you to enjoy. Their bratwurst casserole is a must. Their schnitzel is great. Come to shop AND to eat!

This place is amazing! Good old fashioned German food . They have some of the best bratwurst you will ever taste. Everyone should try this place at least once
