They were excellent. Add providing me the opportunity to buy a new fireplace Remote Starter...
However. They do not install the fireplace starter so I did not purchase it from them.

I was hoping to get the name of someone who would install it or have them come to my house and install the remote control. Fireplace starter what they were unable to help me with that..
Everyone was pleasant but I walked away. Unable to purchase what I needed and get the service that I needed to get my Remote fireplace Starter.

What good is it to drive all the way to Oakhurst and purchase? A fireplace starter set end have no one to install it..

They were excellent from initial consult, assisting me with the permit process for installation and their crew that came out to complete the install were quick, no mess and on time. They helped me patiently with the remote and unit operation (I got a gas Jotul stove) until I was comfortable. I also appreciate that they didn't try to upsell me things I didn't want or need...I recommend them and you won't be disappointed.

I knew little to nothing about my fireplace insert. I could've easily been ripped off, but thank goodness I used The Wood Stove. They're honest and went out of their way for me. Askfor Mike.

Great place to purchase a gas fireplace for your home. The staff has gone above and beyond to make me happy with my purchase. The crew that installed my fireplace could not have been more professional, well informed or helpful. I purchased a Heat n Glow unit and it really does warm a larger portion of my house that I expected. Highly recommend this establishment and the service they provide. There may be less expensive companies around, but I don't think I would have gotten the same level of product or as good an installation

What a great place! I purchased a pellet stove from The Wood Stove and could not be happier. They have a beautiful show room and their people are helpful and informative. The installers did a fantastic job. Since then I have used them for regular annual service on my stove and they are always on time and always do a great job, leaving the area perfectly clean.
I have recommended them to family and friends, and all that have gone there have been extremely happy. It is a well run business and they have always made me feel like a valued customer.

I am considering either a gas or WB FP addition to my home. Josh did what every good salesperson eventually learns is the most important thing to do...he listened. Even though he personally felt the heating function was important to consider, when I told him I felt differently he did not try to impose his viewpoint on me. Very impressive.

Once I had finished, he added lots of information and politely (and effectively) indicated where I might be going off course. He demonstrated the units fitting my needs and patiently answered many more questions. He retrieved brochures and custom generated takeaways for me re: dimensions, options, etc.

I was quite impressed with Josh's sales skills. Having hired and observed many salespeople selling million dollar products and services during my
career, I can confidently say Josh is the guy to see if you are in the market for a fireplace....and is someone I would hire if I were looking for a salesperson with lots of upside.

I had a pellet stove installed in my living room and I couldn't be happier. The staff here were very patient and informative in helping me make the best choice. They were also very professional, thorough, and neat in their installation and maintenance through the past few years. I have recommended them to friends and family and they all enjoy sitting in front of it at my house. We have saved money in heating without having to use the gas heat as much. If you are thinking about purchasing from here, I would just say you will not regret it! It has been the best money I have spent! I now look forward to winters in Jersey!!

This is truly the best store ever! They have amazing gorgeous products and most importantly they treat customers very well. They are very caring and good people.

I've been using The Wood Stove and Fireplace Store for at least 20 years to clean my wood stove which gets heavy use and a wood fireplace. Richie who does the servicing is terrific. Always arrives within the window of time and leaves the work area spotless. The office staff is also excellent. Considering a gas insert and will be shopping there for sure.

Richie and Sergio were very kind and informative. They were conscientious and efficient about their work and answered any questions or concerns. Kathy on the phone helped me so much, she addressed all my worries with patience and kindness. I would call this company in the future.

My gas wood-type stove was installed last week and I love it! Everything went so smoothly from the home visit and the permit (thank you Michael) to the scheduling (thanks Beverley) to the installation by the (2) Charlie's :) A very attentive and professional group :)

I just recently purchased a Novus gas fireplace from here and this company couldn't have been better! The sales rep, Joshua, helped us find exactly what we were looking for in the price range we wanted. The showroom had a wide variety of fireplaces on display and our product came in quickly. The people that work here are friendly and I would recommend this company for anyone looking for a fireplace.

Josh was great! We are in the process of doing a home remodel and a new gas fireplace is part of our plan. Josh was very knowledgeable he answered all our questions and then some. We definitely will be using them for our fireplace.

Almost done and so far a great job by James, Matthew and Keith. James has been the one so far to be here on all the visits. No mess and so professional. I highly recommend the wood stove fireplace center. Next week they finish the job and I will report back and I am sure it will be 5 stars again. Thank you James.

I purchased a gas fireplace from the Wood Stove and Fireplace Center and I was very satisfied with the guys and gals that handled the sale, installation coordination and the installers. Beverly coordinated the install and kept in constant communications. James and Gordon performed the install, very professional and personable. They focused on the job and cleaned up the site as they found it. James demonstrated his skill in aligning/leveling the frame and his technical capabilities in installing the firebox. I can’t say enough about their professionalism. The Wood Stove management should know they represented the company well. I met many different industry installers over my 60 years and many talk poorly of their company or act unprofessionally. These guys are top self, they performed and handled themselves as professionals.

Thank you WoodStove and Fireplace of Oakhurst. I can’t wait for the next cold wave to spark up my new fireplace!

We were shopping for a replacement for our 30 year old wood stove which did not light easily or burn efficiently Checked out a few shops and kept coming back toThe Wood Stove & Fireplace Center, simply because they had the best selection of top notch Wood Stoves and knowledgeable staff.
Settled on the Quadra-Fire Explorer II with an optional Mesh Firescreen.
I installed it myself in the same spot with a dual wall Excel UltraBlack 6" flue and adapter to the outside 8" chimney. Everything they supplied fit and looks great!! The stove really lights easily and burns efficiently with all the controls. We are very happy and highly recommend The Wood Stove & Fireplace Center if you want the best experience.
