John and the crew at Colony Body Works are great. I brought in a very solid 15 year old Hummer H3T with numerous small body problems. They preserved and found parts that were hard to find. I am very pleased with the results.

Russ was extremely communicative and responsive from start to finish. He quickly got me in for a quote, promptly provided the estimate and helped me navigate insurance, and proactively kept me informed with updates and timelines as the work progressed. I felt confident that our vehicle was in great hands, and now our truck looks as good as new! Thank you to the Colony Team!

Update: These guys have surpassed my expectations for a second time. 5 star review stands! I hit my truck with my tractor. Pushing the side wall of my bed out and breaking my tail light housing. They pulled the side wall back in, replaced the tail light housing, and cleaned it up real nice. Looks brand new again. This did not go through insurance and the total cost was right on with the quote which was more than reasonable. Actually, I didn’t know this when I got my quote, but part of the quote was for removing my truck box. I removed the truck box myself before bringing it in and to my surprise, it saved me a couple bucks. They easily could have kept to the original quote and I wouldn’t have even known. Honesty like that is hard to find.

They replaced my tailgate. Quality paint job. Everything lined up and the new tailgate and accompanying electronics function like new. Easy to work with and professional. I’m hard on my truck which makes me picky about making sure everything works right so I can depend on my vehicle. Colony surpassed my expectations. I’d absolutely recommend them.

What an amazing place. They do great work but that's not what I love about them. They are good, good people. Kind and personable and a wonderful family atmosphere. It's little wonder they have been a staple in Dover for so long. Special shout out to John, who helped me in more ways I imagined a body shop could.

I could not be more pleased choosing Colony Auto to repair the hood of my vehicle. The staff and service was impeccable and the quality of work was as if the vehicle just rolled off the assembly line. They even fixed some scratches I had elsewhere on the vehicle with some leftover paint they had from repairing the hood! I will definitely be returning to them anytime I need auto bodywork.

Several months ago I had to have some work done on my car. This was not a cut and dried claim with the insurance company because the person who owned the company that started the work suddenly passed away. Colony stepped in and worked with my insurance company and got all the issues resolved. Not only did they handle my insurance problems, but they did a bang up job repairing the damage to my car. Every person I dealt with at that shop was courteous and professional. Plus, they did a bang up job repairing my car professionally and in a timely manner. I will not hesitate to go back to Colony Auto the next time I need body work done to my car.

This company does a great job and takes pride in what they do and it shows. From the customer service as you walk through the door, to the quality in their service. Came here after another car t-boned me to get my car fixed. As soon I walked in I was greeted and helped out instantly with the utmost respect. They walked me through the whole process, got me a rental delivered and helped me deal with the insurance company. The professionalism from John his other employees is what I look for in a company. Especially one fixing my car to look like nothing ever happened. If anyone is looking to get work done to their car, especially body work, then look no further.

Excellent quality work with fair prices. While we had to wait to get the work scheduled, it was well worth the wait! Friendly, caring staff who really know their craft.

Got my first deer! Unfortunately it was with my car. Hit the headlight/fender rolled up on the hood breaking the windshield and some how ripped off my door mirror when also destroying the door.

Everything was fixed to perfection. John was great to work with. Not even push back to my add on repears the day I dropped it off.

I am very picky about my car. To the point no one works on it but me. Other than body repairs that is. Even with my unrealistic standards for repairs I can't find amy flaws with Colonys work. Unfortunately this is the 2nd time I've had my car there (last time someone hit it while it was parked) both times however the car has come back perfect.

Will never take my car any where else (hope not to need any more body repairs).

It's impossible to praise this wonderful family owned business enough. The owner, John took the time to call me personally when issues arose with my insurance company. John took the extra time needed to work with my insurance and provided me with the best possible outcome. I'm not even a regular customer of his, but he still went the extra mile for me. The work was perfect! My vehicle was cleaned and detailed and looked like it did the first day I got it. These guys are honest, do awesome work, and are very knowledgeable. We just can't say enough about everyone at Colony Auto in Dover. We have used them a few times for a few different vehicles and they are always fantastic. Great customer service and communication and the quality of their work is amazing. From the owner, John, the folks in the office and the guys in the shop, you can tell that they all have so much pride in their work and their service. I rarely take time to write a review, but after the experience with Colony Auto, I had a change of heart. I have never met a group of more kind-hearted people that take a genuine concern for your vehicle. I am new to the area, and after an unfortunate accident where I was rear-ended, the process could not have been more simple. Not only did they set up the rental car, and give recommendations, they got my truck fixed within an extremely timely manner, even with a parts shortage and it looks brand new. I got to talk to several of the employees there, and all showed genuine concern to make sure that the repairs were done to my satisfaction, and I was later informed that the parts were covered for as long as I own the vehicle. To my surprise, when I got my truck back, it had been detailed inside and out. I would gladly bring my truck back to them, and I would recommend Colony Auto to anyone new to the area or not.

Right from the start, John the Owner and John Jr. the Manager were "One of a Kind" Awesome.
They were truly compassionate, honest, helpful and customer service focused.
All the work performed, was done to perfection and they did an outstanding job.

They are the only "First Class" auto body around, with the best reputation.
Very few people today go Above and Beyond or Go the Extra Mile for you, But Colony Auto does.

I have been in need of there services 3 times and each time has been smooth and completed on schedule. They worked directly with my insurance and made the process so much easier. They have great customer service and understand the importance of customer relationships. I highly recommend.

Someone scraped the side of our car in a parking lot, and we brought the car to Colony to see what it would need to be fixed. John checked it out and said it could be buffed out and it would not need a paint job. He had it done in just a few minutes and it looked fantastic! Very friendly people here, and a very capable crew. We definitely chose the right place to go!

It's not often anymore that you get the feeling that people really care that you're a happy customer. Sometimes you work with a local business that reminds you of how great customer service used to be everywhere. Can't say enough great things about how we were treated by John and John Sr Occhipinti at Colony Auto in Dover. You can tell that they value their relationships with customers. In addition to excellent service and advice, their work is top shelf. I had a long scratch in the back door of my truck right down to the metal. The repair is like factory. I have a good eye for detail. There's no trace of there being a repair. It's perfect! You're in very good hands at Colony Auto on Central Ave in Dover NH
