Comfort Inn & Suites Dover-Portsmouth

I stay here three nights a week and just love the staff and ring the rooms to be very clean and comfortable.

The hotel is nice and clean. Staff is always helpful and polite. They have a small pool, it's good enough for rainy days or for a dip at night. The location is good but not too close to the beach (we are ok with that). There are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and stores around. We stay here often. Breakfast is included. There's a 99 restaurant right in the parking lot for the nights you're tired and don't want to go far.

Great hotel with great service. As simple as that. The staff always has a smile and the morning breakfast is perfect.

Extremely accommodating and friendly. Great breakfast. Pet friendly but charges 25$ per pet. Not easy to get to this hotel. We were pulling a 25 foot travel trailer found a spot to park, but extremely limited.

Very clean rooms!! That's what is most important to me. Convenient location. Tons of restaurants, stores, etc. in the area. Equipped with an indoor pool and small gym. They also serve a continental breakfast every morning.

I've been spending weekends at this Inn for a little while now. I live with 6 other people and need some time to myself occasionally and so far have been extremely pleased with the accommodations as well as the staff. Unfortunately yesterday my experience was not so great. The manager was on duty at the desk and booked my room. Ground floor, which I don't like but was too tired to ask him to change it as he was handing me the already activated keys and I just wanted to get some sleep. To my great disappointment, when I got into my room, it was a room for someone with special needs. The bathroom was enormous but with nothing in it. Assistance bars all over the walls, no counter space whatsoever except just enough to surround the sink. My feet didn't even touch the floor when I used the commode. The bar in the closet was about 2 1/2 feet off the floor so my clothes were touching the ground. The bed felt like this mattress had been there for quite some time and the rugs were worn. I mentioned to the manager that I didn't like the room and his response was "Really?". That's it. Really. In my experience it's procedure to inform the guest if you can only offer a room other than what they are requesting. I'm sure it would be a great room, excepting the mattress, for someone in a wheelchair, but I am not, and now I am not comfortable renting here as I believe the management has no interest in pleasing the guest, only in getting as many rooms filled as possible in any way he can. I'd also like to add that I've never had a problem with any other desk clerk. They are all very pleasant and willing to accommodate. I've only had one other complaint when staying there and was immediately offered another room. But as I was able to fix the problem myself, I didn't take it. But it was nice to be given the option. I would never had accepted the room I stayed in last night, had I been informed before checking in. Sadly, I'll be looking for something else for my weekends in the future. Although I enjoyed most of my stays, I feel that if management doesn't care about the guests comfort, there can only be more problems in the future.

Super clean, inviting and very comfortable. So nice to have hot tea, coffee available in the cute lobby at all hours. Staff were so friendly too!

Very clean common areas and hotel room, easy parking, good location. Front desk very friendly and helpful. Laundry room clean too. Costs $5.50 to wash and dry 1 load. Breakfast was nice. Good breakfast attendant. Easy checkout. Slow elevator

Great experience during check in. Gentleman who checked me in was super friendly and upgraded my room to a suite as I am a Diamond plus member with Choice Hotels. Quick processing and on to my room which was very nice. Beds are super comfortable and room is very clean and spacious. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We ended up staying longer than most people, which is considered a extended stay. I dont even think this place is a extended stay place but they accommodated us anyway and I was very appreciative of it. The staff were all so amazing. Everyone was beyond friendly. Its like that saying "come as friends leave as family " the rooms were great! Plenty big enough for all us and we had three adults and two children. Beds were by far one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The pillows were like clouds. Maid service was amazing. One time I had left a couple dishes in the sink and even that was done when I got back. The breakfast was always great. The woman who does breakfast was so nice I made a true friend. She worked her butt off every morning always with a smile on her face. Every day was something different made. If you ask me there was a huge variety. Most recommended is the mini muffins, I think I gained 20lbs from them. It was always pleasant starting my day off seeing her. Coffee was always on anytime of day or night which was great for me because I love my coffee. They have a snack closet that has a good variety. I couldn't have asked for a better stay and I'm so humbled with everything there. I will definitely be missing it there and everyone there too. I can not thank them enough for everything. Even my kids loved it, the pool was always great, clean, waitting to greet them all day. It was always open until 10 PM they thought that was the bee's knees. And that worked for me because it would tire them out for bed. I would recommend this place to everyone an that's what ill do. If I could have gave them 10 stars I would have.

We stayed here due to loosing our apartment two days before Christmas due to a fire. The first night we were very stressed out. But Barnabas and Sarah welcomed us in with open arms and tried to comfort us in a very bad situation. We did not see Sarah again, but she went above and beyond trying to find us a fan to help us sleep. I think she works overnights and we are usually sleeping by then but Barnabas was so great our entire stay. I even told him he was made for the hospitality business. He was one of the most kind people I’ve ever met! I can’t say enough about him, but his kindness meant so much, especially given our situation. The other highlight was Denise I believe her name was, who runs the breakfast area. She was so sweet and tried to accommodate us as much as she could. These three really made a tough time a little easier with their big hearts and kind personalities. We were actually bummed to leave because we were going to miss our new friends. Thank you all so much.

Very clean and quiet, we had a family room of very decent size. Breakfast was above average for a gratuity. Friendly and helpful young staff.

I stayed here for four nights my stay was comfortable but a week after staying there my debit card numbers were used and over 3000 dollars was withdrawn from my account i beleive someone installed a skimmer on there card reader its the only place i used my debit card. called to make the hotel aware and the women i spoke
to was rude and said noone here would do that.

Loved this place. Very clean and courteous staff. So helpful, they even took me to see the suites for an upcoming possible longer stay. Location convenient with 99's restaurant next door. So surprised to find a puff on the bed which was warm and so comfortable. Plenty of room, towels etc. What you'd find at a high priced hotel.

We stayed here recently for a little over a month while our house was being repaired. We stayed in a different hotel down the street for a few days that was mediocre at best. I called around to a dozen different hotels, until reaching Comfort Inn. Kevin was able to work with us and give us a great rate that beat everyone else’s. They set us up in a very nice suite. Everything was very clean, and up to date, and everything worked as it should.
The entire staff from front desk, to housekeeping was super friendly and very proffessional.
The daily breakfast buffet is like no other hotel. Very good, and they offer different stuff daily, so its not the same gross pancakes and bagels. They offer bacon, sausage, eggs, french toast, waffles, pastries, everything you could ask for, its like your at home.
I am so glad we chose Comfort Inn, they made us feel at home. If I am ever in need of a local hotel again, I won’t go anywhere else.

The world needs more kindness and business oriented people like this man 😊 I was in Durham N.H. a nice motel also I wanted a suite where I could cook. Because I will be in the area several months. Kevin brought me here to the Comfort Inn in Dover New Hampshire. At the government rate !! Very nice room. The hospitality. The kindness and compassion he gave to me. It’s not only good business,, it’s Gods way ❤. He wasn’t worried about the money. But accommodating me This Comfort Inn & Suites is wonderful. They don’t bother you. They accommodate you in every way possible. Working for the government I have been all over the continental United States 🇺🇸. I can honestly say ,, I feel at home. I feel at peace ☮. Great job Comfort Inn & Suites 😊❤
