Piccolo Trattoria

Piccolo Trattoria offers superb Italian cuisine paired with excellent service. My second visit reaffirmed my positive impression, especially the delectable sauce accompanying the bread basket. We savored dishes like eggplant parmigiana, Milanese, and a delightful cappuccino. The red sauce with the eggplant parmigiana was particularly divine, striking the perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. You can't go wrong here—I highly recommend paying them a visit!

We ordered catering to pick up for a collegiate softball team and family members. Jessica and her catering staff were extremely helpful and very responsive. My questions were answered generally within an hour. All of our needs were accommodated as well. When we served the meal, all 48 guests were extremely satisfied with the quality of each item and all left very happy (and full). I would absolutely use Piccolo Trattoria again for my catering needs and would recommend it to others.

My sister brought a bunch of food from Piccolo Trattoria to our (Italian) family gathering and we loved everything! She brought me a nice kale salad with beets, goat cheese and delightful little crab cakes. I was shocked at the nice golden color of the dressing and delicious sharp grassy notes - the hallmarks of real extra virgin olive oil. So many restaurants skimp on the quality of olive oil for takeout. The dressing was delicious and made the salad absolutely perfect. We also enjoyed the fried mozzarella and stuffed portabella mushroom. Delicious! Even our most fussiest guests loved the food. Thank you for making our get together so enjoyable and free of agita. 🙏

Came here on a Saturday for an early dinner for the first time. We chose to sit outside. Atmosphere was pleasant. Our server was very attentive. I ordered the chicken saporito, daughter a personal pizza & SO mussels/meatballs. We all enjoyed our food & will come back again to try other dishes on the menu.

Sat outside last evening and the food was phenomenal. Our server, Diego was very attentive, friendly and very patient as we were undecided what to order. A great guy and an asset to the establishment. Can’t wait to return. Beautiful outdoor seating as well!

Had the rack of lamb….fabulous! Started with calamari and zucchini flowers which were wonderful. Can’t say enough about the service - our server, Juan, was attentive, funny and fantastic. Loved our entire experience!!

I contacted Piccolo Trattoria in Pennington for a dinner that I was planning to celebrate my son’s college graduation. I was very pleased with the service that was provided for myself and my family, we enjoyed the food choices and I appreciate the consistent communication that I had from Jessica in planning this event! We will come back to try other food options in the near future.

We hosted our granddaughters baptism here and had an amazing experience. The food was amazing, the staff was attentive and professional, and the desserts were delicious! We love the Piccalo family and look forward to hosting more parties in the future!

Every time we have eaten here the food has been fabulous, which is why I picked it for my husband's birthday celebration. Everything was delicious and the wait staff could not have been nicer or more attentive. Highly recommend.

I have had several events catered for work and Piccolo's is always, accommodating, responsive, professional, dependable and delicious! I always order hot sandwiches and they always arrive fresh and warm. Staff is always asking the right questions, so your event runs smoothly e.g. drinks, utensils, set-up. 5 stars all the way!

Got a half Brooklyn style pizza normal and a half Brooklyn style pizza with vodka sauce both sides were delicious and would highly recommend either one

Booked a holiday lunch for 20 people (15 adults & 5 children) on a weekend. Event staff was very responsive and easy to communicate with, they were also very accommodating on the menu options since we had egg allergies in our party.

Food was amazing, service was very good. Space was very nicely decorated for the holidays. We reserved the back room and happened to have it to ourselves so it was a bit more private. It's also BYOB which is a nice bonus.

Overall, great place to book an event if you're looking, we'll be back!

I truly don’t even know where to start ! I want to start by thanking Joe for handling literally everything. My husband and I had our wedding dinner here and Joe and his team made everything absolutely perfect. Not a worry in the world on our special day, the food was outstanding, service was impeccable and before I even had to think about asking for something someone was there to see if we needed anything.

They even set up the tables with decor that we dropped off the night before, set everything up and handled the florist which dropped off our centerpiece flowers for the dinner. We live in the area and are so happy to support our local businesses. Joe thank you so much for helping make our day so special !

We had a 40 person party and the service was outstanding. The food was hot and delicious and the staff was so accommodating. We will be back!!! Thank you!

I was in the shopping center transporting for an appointment close by and I stopped here for a salad. I had the blackened chicken Cesar salad and garlic knots. OMG .. IT WAS SO GOOD. I brought the garlic knots home to my husband and he asked that I order him some more because I scheduled back to be the next day. I had the salad again and convinced my client to try it as well. The pizzeria also has many slices options to choose from. They also have a fancier side to sit and have lunch/dinner and a bakery section.

Absolutely phenomenal… service, ambience, food, dessert, even the ginger ale was giving. A quote directly from my daughter, “I’m going to be full until next Thursday!” Highly recommend this place. Did not disappoint!

Diego’s service was exceptional! His suggestions for entrees were exactly what we were looking for. The ambience was extremely comfortable with dim lighting, Italian music and the decor was cute. We were very happy with our choice to dine here and will be returning for a second time.

Seamless Christmas Eve catering! Exceptionally easy to input an online catering order and pick up 2 trays of HOT and delicious food to serve to our guests. We were out of towners from Utah and was told to go to this place to eat. I am sure glad we did. This place has such amazing food down to the dinner salad. Every time we go to new Jersey we now have to go here. Food is good the waiters are awesome, atmosphere is great. Just a good place to eat.
