Pfeiffer Nature Center Lillibridge Property

Love hiking at Pfeiffer! So many trails for all levels of ability, and you can hike for just a few minutes or spend hours here in the woods. Take a photo of the map before entering the trail network if you aren't familiar with the land, as the trails can get confusing as they cross paths a lot. You can easily get turned around without a map. The view from the cabin is lovely, and the view from the outlook trail at the top of the hill is also nice. Bring bug spray! For nature enthusiasts, the center has placards on some of the trails so you can learn about the local ecology, and there are great programs offered to learn more. Take advantage if you're passing through the area, and especially if you live in the region!

Challenging elevation changes make this a good workout with beautiful views.

This is an area of incredible beauty. The Eshelman loop, near the top right-hand side of the trail (it's on the map), has an incredibly steep section where they have a rope that needs to be used to descend the slope. I believe it's more than a 34% grade in that location. Huge boulders up there, which make amazing picnic areas. Leave no trace, take out what u bring in, no garbage cans available out there.
Take only photos, leave only footprints.

The views are like no other! The cabin is so pretty nestled in the woods and the outdoor pavilion is fantastic!

Absolutely beautiful. There's a restroom available. Tons of trails to go on. Clean. Easy to follow trails. Peaceful. A book to sign when you enter. Will be going again to explore more.

If you've never been to Pfieffer and you live in Cattaraugus/Allegany county you are truly missing out! The views are spectacular. Short easy hiking trails. And the drive up lillibridge road is like something out of a post card. The road is seasonal though so do not attempt it when there is a chance of ice or a lot of mud. We like to go in summer and early fall.

Love going here no matter what season or weather. U can sit and take in all the peace n beauty of the woods. There are plenty of trails to walk and don't forget the view out to the. VAlley. On a clear day u can see for miles

What a lovely place! The kids loved the scavenger hunt available at the trail head, and the maps provided were super helpful. Peaceful and purely enjoyable. Nature at its best!

This is a lovely little interesting place to see the beauty of New York! There are some interesting finds within the grounds like the log cabin and the views from everywhere are beautiful. It is a great place to take a walk in the woods!

Good trails and woods, but a bit soggy in some areas, and the 500yr old tupelo tree was dead. All around good place to come hike and commune with nature.
