Gronsky's Milk House

From the second we stepped foot inside this convenience store/ice cream shop/diner, we knew immediately we’d love it. As an avid pancake lover, I knew I had to get their massive pancake. Topped with warm, salty butter, every bite was delicious. The chocolate chips tasted like real chocolate, unlike many other diners around! I can’t wait to go back and try the pancake of the month next time!

I went to this place today for breakfast. We sat outside since it was nice out, however, they have indoor sitting. The pancake was huge I loved that. It was fluffy and perfect. The western omelette was delicious. We will definitely be coming back.

A perfect spot for a classic American breakfast! The POTM (pumpkin, was seriously outstanding. And let's talk about the coffee – it's the kind that makes you want a second cup before you've even finished the first. A perfect brunch spot for a cozy and yummy treat!

Cute place and great service and food! Omelettes were huge and delicious! I had the Western omelette with swiss. The home fries were very good and the homemade corn beef hash was excellent! We did not get the pancakes, but saw how big they are! I can't wait to go back and try them!

Best pork roll (“Taylor Ham”) ever. Friendly and fast staff in a classic setting. Worth a drive to visit.

Delicious ice cream and worth the hype. Love being able to sit by the river with friends or family on a summer night. They also have tall tables that you can stand around which is sometimes better when you have an ice cream cone in my opinion. Dog friendly, cash only and likely a crowd. We went at closing time and there was still a line of eager customers ready to place their orders. Their milkshakes are where it’s at!

Excellent menu! A wide variety of diet choices that are very well prepared. We've been trying to get in here every Sunday and there's always a wait. Now we know why. It's worth the wait. They have the room with beautiful outside dining or limited inside seating available too. The wait is likely due to the common issue of getting enough help to keep up with the high demand of good food. The meals and ice cream are tops. Service is efficient and friendly. Adequate parking around the whole lot indicates how full the are. Easy access off Main St. We stuffed ourselves to satisfaction.

Seriously the best ice cream that my boyfriend and I have ever had. I got the chocolate peanut butter ice cream sundae with hot fudge whipped cream and a cherry and he got the vanilla peanut butter ice crean sundae along with the hot fudge and whipped cream cherry as well. behind the restaurant there are plenty of chairs to sit down and enjoy the view of the river that's behind it. It was a beautiful little evening spent there. We cannot wait to go back

This place is a 10/10. We go every month for the pancake and it never disappoints!! Place is small and cozy with a classic diner feel. Get there early if you want a seat quickly! Cash or Venmo only.

Visted the ice cream stand in the front. Nice peppermint hard ice cream. I need to try many more flavors.

What a place. Super nice staff, very comfortable, like having breakfast at home. Actually, a bit better. The waffles are enormous, I would just order 1. Also, they have no plates big enough to actually fit their gargantuan pancakes. They do accept cash and Venmo. The backyard has benches and tables alongside a river. Sounds great, very relaxing. Probably my favorite breakfast place in NJ so far

Not only an ice cream shop, Gronsky also is the best breakfast & Lunch restaurant.

One of our favorite hidden gems for breakfast! The blueberry pancake is amazing.. and huge! The sausage is fantastic, the bacon is perfectly cooked every time and the hash browns are phenomenal. The waitstaff is accommodating, friendly and very professional. Overall - one of the best places I've been to!

Tiny diner with huge portions. Get there early and come hungry. I had the corned beef hash and the special pumpkin pancake. My friend and I split half of the pancake so I have that and half the hash for tomorrow's breakfast. Highly recommend.

Great spot to escape the heat. Close to the highway, awesome selection of ice cream. I look forward to coming back and trying the breakfast.

A superb place to eat breakfast. Went here after a hiking at Voorhess State Forest. Food was over the top. Two thumbs up!

It has been a little over a year since we were last at Gronsky’s and we were very happy to be back! Nothing better defines an August afternoon like sitting in the shade by a river eating great ice cream. Hard or soft, the ice cream is delicious and so is the hot fudge!

Gronsky’s is my first stop whenever I visit High Bridge. It’s a part of the local culture and the pork roll egg and cheese sandwich is simply the best there is!
