Great service and good food. The cheeseburger wrap was delicious, and you HAVE to get their honey mustard dipping sauce for the fries (or anything, really), it’s phenomenal.

We were just passing through. We were on our way back home to Indiana from dropping our daughter off at Ithaca and stopped to get gas in Olean. My husband and I were googling places to eat since it was just us. What an amazing find! We will be making sure to get into Olean during business hours so we can stop in here again! The meals were outstanding and the dessert was *chefs kiss*. Do not miss out on this gem!

The Beef-N-Barrel is a must visit when in the Olean area The old school feel of this place will really take you back . The menu is like the name very beef centric. They have meat stand right in the dining rooms that have pretty much every cut of beef your heart will desire . The prime rib was cooked perfectly and the German potatoe salad reminded me of my grandmothers. The old school bar is also another nice touch , feels like your back in the Olde Days . Definitely make it a priority to have dinner here

We love Beef n Barrel! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Service was great, the food is delicious and fresh. One would expect a pricier menu but we thought everything was very reasonably priced. We will visit again

The beef is outstanding and there are so many options! I had the open face beef sandwich and my friend had the beef n cheese sandwich. We had sweet potato fries with honey. Absolutely delicious!!

Had a nice lunch there today , I had the haddock florentine with mushrooms and spinach and a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. It was very good . My favorite place to eat

Been recommended this place years ago, finally got a chance to visit and eat here. Lots of options on the menu; Generous portions served. The blooming onion was crispy and flavorful. The baked French onion soup was absolutely delicious. Main dishes were great. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back again.

This is an amazing restaurant. My parents started going here in the late 1950's. I've been going since the early 70's (that I can remember). The food is phenomenal. The quality is always consistent and great. I've never had a bad meal. The place is spotless. The roast beef on Kimewick platter is my goto meal. The German potato salad is an unusual side but is worth it. I hope they can keep it up for another 70 years.

I’m from Hawaii but whenever I am visiting family in the Olean area, I always make it a point to eat at Beef’N Barrel not only is the food excellent the service is exceptional. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. And the price is reasonable. I will continue to come back here every time highly recommended!!

We lived in the Olean area in the late 70s. The Beef N Barrel was a small restaurant with great food. Since then they have purchased 7 properties and they are a big place with great food. Their beef on wick sandwich is their signature dish. This is a place worth driving to!

I came for the French Onion soup because of the picture on the website. It came to my table exactly like the photo! It was delicious! Service was great.

They are noted for their roast beef. Since I like to try local cuisine, I ordered a full German experience: roast beef on their homemade weck bread with sides of German potato salad and baked beans. Outstanding. I recommend medium rare for a moister sandwich. The flavor of the rye bread topped with caraway seeds and Kosher salt added depth of flavor. The vinegar based potato salad was balanced by the sweetness from the baked beans. The combination of those with the sandwich was excellent!

Amazing experience! The food was extremely delicious. Harley, who took care of us, was perfect. A wonderful family dinner. Will definitely be back and recommend.

Growing up in Olean this is my favorite restaurant! It's a must stop every time I go home. The food is always incredible! They always make me and my family feel like we're home, even if it's been a year since we've been back. The beef is PHENOMENAL! The baked French onion soup is the best I have ever had... Go see what the hype is about when you are in the area....you won't be disappointed! Great food and atmosphere...they will welcome you in like family.

Great family atmosphere. Friendly staff and generous portions. Plus the beef on wick is the best around. Update!!!!! The wife and I went into there for lunch. Was greeted and sat down right away. Our waitress was very friendly. We both had the open face hot roast beef sandwich which was very good. Always a great place to eat

We had amazing food along with the best peanut butter ice cream pie that was the perfect end to our night. The waitress was very friendly and checked on our table frequently. All around good experience.
