We picked the right company to do our roof. It was done correctly, on-time, and in a friendly manner. They did a wonderful job. Highly recommend.

Dave Ernst replaced our roof 3years ago and they did a great job. The clean up after was great and the roof looks great! We recently had a hail storm come through this last week and we gave Dave a call and he was here within a couple of days and checked or roof for us. We highly recommend them for all types of repair work.

David Ernst is one of the most honest, trustworthy and dedicated business owners we have ever had do work for us. Couldn't be happier with the quality of work and more impressed with the reasonable price. Usually you get one or the other with contractors. David Ernst Construction LLC re-did my roof and contracted my gutters and I am very happy with the results. I was also very happy with the quote compared to other Twin Cities roof contractors; the quality exceeded the price I had to pay. The work was completed within less than 8 hours. By the time I got home from work the roof was done and the site cleaned up. My gutters were also contracted through them and this work was also completed within half a day. Very pleased with the results of both. Definitely recommend.

David replaced the roof on my daughters home. He was able to begin work quickly. The crew removed the three layers of shingles on the first day and applied the paper and shingles in about a day and a half. It was a large roof with several angles and valleys to contend with which took more time. They cleaned up after their job was completed. David gave me a fair price for the job and the quality of the work was well worth the price.

It was very satisfying working with David Ernst. He paid us on time and treat our crew respectfully. Being on this business for long time (15 years) I have worked with some very bad contractors, people that don't pay the crew and miss treat them. Many times I had to file a lien to home owner in result if contractor not being able to pay us. It was not a pleasant thing to do, not for me or the home owner. We have done many roof for Mr. David, he has paid us all for his work. I am very happy to work for him for any futures roofing jobs that he might have.

David Ernst Construction did a great job from start to finish on replacing the roofs on on our house and garage. David made sure we got the appropriate materials and worked with our insurance company to clarify the job. David also worked to get our chimney rebuilt due to its age and old, failing mortar. Additionally, David works with a gutter contractor, who replaced some rain gutters we'd requested replaced. All of this done for a very reasonable price and I'd work with David Ernst Construction again.

5 STARS. Dave Ernst was 1 of 14 contractors we interviewed for our roof replacement. Although he was NOT the cheapest estimate, his bid was in the lower 1/3. Dave is a very knowledgeable and personable professional, but 2 things stood out to us: 1) in his proposal he wrote that he would personally supervise the project (AND HE DID); 2) he DID NOT use a dumpster to block up our driveway and possibly damage it. Instead, he used a trailer to haul everything away at the end of the day. His crew did a GREAT job, cleanup was GREAT (no debris in our neighbors yards) and and our NEW roof looks AWESOME (words of our 6 year old granddaughter). I WOULD USE DAVE ERNST AGAIN AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIS WORK!!!
