Kind of spendy but the meat department is amazing! Better bacon than Thielen’s if you ask me. Some awesome sausage here, across the street and down the road. It’s a great area for homemade sausage and this is where you should start.

This is a great place to go get your food and everything. and the young people that work there they work hard for their money. And they're always helpful. Which is great too hear and see. They also have a great variety of food. Plus they have their own butcher, where I'm sure but I haven't asked yet about a half cow? And they carry your food out for you if you need them to.

I love this little store! They never fail to have tons of deals and I always come out with more than my grocery list. And I absolutely love the plantenburgs butcher in back. They always have the freshest meat at prices that beat walmart and better. I love the frequent meat sales that help me fill my freezer for weeks!

So happy these guys are still in business. It's so convenient them being right in Richmond. Great produce! Great meat Dept too. Always friendly service. Skip Teals and shop here instead.

Plantenbergs might look like a small little grocery store. But if you step inside you'll be greeted by some of the most friendly and outgoing cashiers. You will find they have everything you will need for most day to day meal preparation. Their meat department is second to none. I highly recommend shopping here

Very nice small town grocery store. Staff is friendly and helpful. Make sure you pick up some Plantenburg brats, weiners, and/or jerky. Delightful!

Good food, pretty good prices, but I wish when I asked for a product especially a couple times that they would get it or at least get management to give me a reason why not. When these young people give it to management they say and management don't do nothing about it, I don't like that.
