As a drummer, I tended to purchase most of my gear from the multi-instrument big stores, as it seemed all the drum shops near me had either went out of business, or didn't have what I was looking for. And then, as I was researching some kits, I came across DCP's videos on YouTube, which are awesome! They review different gear in an honest, entertaining way, not just pushing every product, they give you the good and the bad. So I called them to get my new kit! Working with Jaymie was great. It was so nice to talk with a fellow drummer, who knew about all the different brands and products, who actually plays so can give honest reviews. Everyone that works there is a drummer! How cool!? And they put a lot of emphasis on building a relationship, not just being transactional. They worked with me and honestly, I will *never* buy from anywhere else again. I'm a forever loyal customer. And now I just need to plan a trip to Portsmouth to see the place in person! Feels kinda like a pilgrimage to me :)

DCP has a massive and diverse selection of drums and cymbals. The sales team is knowledgeable. Their prices beat the competition. And shipping was fast and reliable. Also, DCP's YouTube videos are well done and informative. This is how I learned about DCP in the first place. Thank you YouTube algorithm for bringing that first video onto my feed. I was surprised and happy to find that DC of Portsmouth had the exact Gretsch Catalina Club 7X10 Tom in my color (Crimson Burst) in Stock. I've been wanting to add this Tom to my Kit for over a year now. It's a great addition and give me the added fills that I like. Great price and shipped immediately.

I have been buying as much gear from DCP as possible since my wife bought me a kit last year. Just started playing again after 20 years and my wife agreed that I could use an upgrade. Didn’t hesitate to order a Tama Starclassic Performer from DCP and went to pick it up in person. The store is an experience in itself. The staff is friendly and prices are right with the market. I’m even willing to spend a little more to support a locally owned business.

Couldn’t be happier with my new kit. Look forward to getting some more upgrades this year. Going full Tama hardware.

Just bought a new drum set from Drum Center of Portsmouth. Had a great experience! Drums showed up in just a few days. It shipped with a defective head. DCoP shipped me a replacement immediately after emailing their service dept. Amazing response and customer service!

This is the ultimate Drum Store second to none! The staff know there stuff and are very helpful. You can get lost in this place especially the museum area. I ordered a Tama StarClassic limited edition Mirage set. Staff kept informed of how long it would take, when it was being shipped and the minute it arrived. This is not a store you check out in a few minutes, you travel there and spend a day~!!!

I did a major purchase using Drum Center for the first time. I bought Drum-Tec3 shells, and some cables. All arrived on time and in without issue. I recently acquired an old generic 3 piece shell pack (13,16, & 24) that didn't include any hardware except an old Rogers tom mount (like Ringo's). I needed to add a new Rogers Dynomatic Ultra-Adjust Tom Arm to hold the tom! It fit perfectly! I bought a Ludwig Classic Bass Drum Shell Mount Cymbal Arm Assembly to fit the old bass drum! It fit perfectly, as well! I also bought a Ludwig Speed Flyer Bass Drum Pedal to replace my old Speed King pedal. Everything works! I'm a happy camper!

Have made a few online orders and have amassed quite the DCP sticker collection. Also visited the store in person last year on a day trip from Florida. Absolutely amazing store and staff. If you ever visit in person, prepare for an overwhelming experience with the inventory and sheer size of the place combined with awesome customer service and personal attention, you can't go wrong!

My new Tama Kit is great. They sound amazing! Happy to be back playing. Met some very nice people at the Portsmouth Drum Center! Glad I’m only a few miles away. Great People, Great Products, and Great customer support. To keep everyone updated, I’ve ordered a few things online recently from this wonderful company, and always receive an email keeping me up to date on my order. And the order has always arrived on time. So, don’t be afraid to order online here. But I highly suggest that you visit the Drum Center in Person. What an amazing experience. Multiple floors of drums/percussion, and set previously played by some legendary drummers! Go see the kit played on the Johnny Carson show, or Bun E Carlos’ kit when he played for Cheap Trick, plus others.
Snare drums are like a personal preference, like Cymbals, and this place has ALOT to choose from, and while I like my Tama snare that matches my kit, you can listen to others and choose your own sound be it wood or metal. I will be buying another snare soon because, well, you know, Black Beauty, Superphonic, Noble Cooley, Yamaha, go check it out. If you’re a Drummer or have thoughts of playing this wonderful instrument, plan on being there awhile….you’ll love it.

Hands down the best drum shop in the world let alone New Hampshire. This place is almost a vacation destination. Gear selection is 2nd to none and the customer service is top notch. Shipping is well thought out and very very fast.
