Colonial Springs Laundromat

I've become a consist customer that comes to this nice clean laundromat since it's been open for business. There's one nice attendant I think she's great I'm sure the other employees are good but she's the only one I've come in contact with. I believe her name is Lizzy and I think she should be highlighted she's a really nice person out going and makes you feel welcome.

Jazz, the attendant was very thorough and she left my clothes amazing. Haven’t had someone as thorough as here take care of my clothes like this in a while.

I wish they had some sort of loyalty program because I’ve been getting my laundry done by this laundromat for the better part of two years and the price increased nearly $.30 which obviously makes a difference if you drop off a lot of clothes.

The best I have experienced! I have been to several different laundromats usually switching because they don’t live up to what they advertise or the customer service is nonexistant.
From the moment I arrived at Colonial Springs I stepped in the door and proceeded to look for a cart. The young lady quickly asked me if I needed help. She directed me to the carts. I gathered 3 of the 6 bags I brought with me and went in. I loaded my washers yet still needed assistance getting it started. The same young lady came to my rescue. She pleasantly told me her name- they call me Jazz (short for Jasmine) she says with a big smile and giggles at me putting my debit card where my laundry card would go. 😆 She quickly assists me as we laugh about it together. Then she convinces me tj just wash all I brought with me. Hey! I am here already. Why not? She was right. I gathered the remaining bags. By this time, Ya arrived to switch with Jazz. They completely explained the Laundry Card process and benefits. I was impressed! Ya was there to help at any point if I needed it and with a smile. It was never a problem. The laundromat was clean and the machines as well. I have my card which still has several free Dry cycles left on it and the dreadful thoughts I used to have when it came to laundry are less LOLLL…. It’s still not my favorite task. Colonial Springs - Jazz and Ya made the experience pleasant and easy to navigate.

If you are looking for a laundromat that is well worth the trip (I drove from Westbury to Wheatley Heights) to experience Jazz and Ya along with equally friendly customers in the laundromat. Everyone was friendly!
And…. My clothes are fresh and clean too!!

Probably the cleanest laundromat I’ve ever been in. Exceptional service. The attendant Ya was very nice and helpful. Drop off service is swift and efficient. I highly recommend this place.

Machines were above average , and service was spectacular, especially verb. She showed great service behind the counter to myself and all other patrons. Will recommend

She is helpful and is full of knowledge in making your laundry it’s cleanest. It’s a great place with clean new machines . Go there ... it’s a nice place to do an very necessary task ;).

I brought my clothes there because I had to work and was in a rush i had never been to you place i was helped by a young lady by the name of VERB SHE WAS AMAZING my clothes was done in a timely matter and they where folded so nicely and i could not help but notice how she was so concerned about how things were clean WHEN I WALKED IN SHE WAS CLEANING WHEN I WALKED AWAY I LOOKED BACK TO SAY THANK YOU FOR HER OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SHE HAD WENT BACK TO CLEANING I SAID HONEY IT'S CLEAN SHE REPLIED " PEOPLE WASH THERE CLOTHES HERE I WANT TO MAKE SURE IT STAYS THAT WAY' I WILL BE BACK THANKS VERB !!!!!

Verb was a great help omg!!! It’s my first time at the laundromat and she was super nice and got me done with all my laundry’ absolutely adore her.

The greatest place yo do laundry, their washers are great, dryers efficient, it's a convenient location. All the people that work here are fantastic the boss is a great man they always do the right thing and they make it fun to be there

I had a Queen sized comforter that needed to be washed and wasn't going to fit in the washer and dryer in my house which brought me to this laundromat. The lady that was working there was very nice and helpful since it was my first time there. So to use the washing and drying machines, you need to preload money onto their laundromat card. The card itself is free and you just load it with cash (does not take credit card) via the machines inside.

They have different sized washers and as they increase in size, the price goes up per wash: $3.59, $4.98, $6.98, $9.98, to the biggest sized washer which costs $12.98. For my comforter, I used the $6.98 one and the wash took 23 minutes. There are seats inside, basket carts with wheels and stools accessible if you're vertically challenged (like me!) to load detergent and fabric softeners into the compartments above the washer.

For the dryers, they have 6 big ones by the front specifically for drying blankets and they are free. The lady at the front told me that the dryers are free so I guess if you're using the other dryers for clothing, they should be free also. The machines will display a price however (for the blanket dryers it was $0.30 and I think for the clothing dryers it was $0.25) but all you have to do is swipe your card to activate it but it did not deduct any money from my card. Once you swipe your card, the light by the Start section will light up and you can press the button to start the dryer after selecting your heat choice. The blanket dryer does increments of 7 minutes and I kept swiping my card for an additional 7 minutes. The lady at the front saw what I was doing and told me I could actually swipe the card multiple times at once to get more minutes at a time instead of waiting for each 7 minute increment to finish so I'll have to do that next time.

If you do decide to fold your clothing here, the tables are all very clean. The entire laundromat in general is very clean and new looking. If you need cash, there is an ATM machine at the front. There are also vending machines at the front for laundry supplies such as detergent. I think there's even a snack machine in the back of the laundromat if I'm not mistaken.

They speak both English and Spanish. As per the front door sign, the laundromat is open 7 days a week from 7am-11pm with the last wash being 10pm. I don't know if these hours have changed due to Covid though. Also, due to the pandemic, make sure you wear a mask when coming here as it is mandatory. In addition, they have laundering services but I did not use them at this time. Plenty of parking out front as this laundromat is located in one of those small outdoor shopping centers. All in all, I had a great first experience here and would highly recommend this place for your laundering needs!

The laundromat is a great place to do your laundry is very clean, the staff there are wonderful group of people they make the environment really nice and really comfortable to be around.

I enjoy coming to this laundromat when Jazz is working she keeps the throwback jams going and is very helpful if need be plus the place is super clean 👌
