Beautiful place to take a swim. They have showers and bathrooms. The showers are extremely cold though.

Beautiful park! Clean beach is well attended by lifeguards in the summer, clean bathrooms, playground, plenty of picnic tables, very reasonably priced boat rentals, the list of great things goes on and on

A great place to barbecue with lots of picnic tables and grills. The park is clean and the swim area is surrounded by mountains and forest. A wonderful experience and we will return.

This place is PHENOMENAL! This is a hidden beauty. Lots of area to picnic and swim. You can hike some trails or ride you bike. They have canoe and kayak rentals. Overall a wonderful place to spend the day with family and take in God's beautiful creation.

I have lived near Cole Park for ages but today was my first time walking the trail. Absolutely beautiful. It's almost 3 miles and goes around the entire park. There's sitting areas along the way and barely any mud. And the route is mostly flat so it wasn't strenuous at all. Absolutely a great way to begin or end a park visit.

Beautiful park with lots of amenities. Scores of tables and barbecue boxes... you would always be in shade because of abundant trees.

Clean and well maintained trails to take your dog for a walk. Approximately 1.25 miles around the lake.

My family and I went to Cole Park after church Sunday. It was chilly bit nice. Kidd had a great time. People were friendly, college kids were respectful. I will visit there again.

My wife and I walked around the lake on this 30 degree, snowy day. The trail is about 1-1/4 miles and takes about an hour. The trail is not cleared in the winter so be prepared for that. A good place to hike during deer hunting season because there is no hunting allowed in the park. We saw no one else in the park until we left.

This place is outstanding! Have been going ever since I was a little boy. End of year field trips were always to Cole Park, swimming and playing on the playgrounds. Many a day in my teens playing Frisbee and discreetly partaking in various chemicals. Lots of great memories, over the years.

These days, I feel blessed that it's a short drive from my house, and it's my dogs favorite spot for a nice long walk around the lake. With a few spots along the way where he can wade into the lake to cool off and gey a drink.

It's wild to me that state park costs an admission fee a good amount of the time. Yet Cole Park is 100% free of charge, for all of those sites and pavilions for get togethers. Also indoor actual bathrooms available.

I feel like it would be a prime spot for a music festival! Although, I'm sure there would be a ton of red tape for such a thing.

Great for young children. My kids were asking to go to the beach all of last week, so we planned a day at the park. They loved it! And the pond water was calm and cool. They splashed and swam with other children and had a great time. No cost to enter or park. Tables and grills are first-come-first-serve. Lifeguards were on duty and professional. And the bathrooms and locker rooms were decently clean.
