Salon 146

Laurie from the Appel Inn suggested Salon 146 for hair & makeup for our June 2024 wedding and we couldn’t have been happier with the work they did!

Sarah and her team were super accommodating, professional, quick, and fun! We had initially thought about getting ready at the venue, but because of the size of our wedding party, Sarah suggested we get ready at the salon. She happily let us take over half the salon for the entire morning, allowed us to set up food in the facial room in back and use their coffee pot, and even let us pair one of our phones with their Bluetooth speaker.

They had a team of four doing hair and makeup for 9 of us and they kept us right on schedule. Everyone complimented how natural the makeup looked and we loved that it was airbrushed—it felt so light. Sarah even airbrushed color over some bad tan lines on my back! The hair stylists did a great job of catering to every individual style and all types of hair.

Getting ready at Salon 146 was a perfect and relaxing way to start our day, and we’d highly recommend Sarah and her team to anyone looking for hair and makeup stylists for any special occasion!

Sarah and her team were amazing to work with for hair and makeup for me and my bridal party on 8/19/23. Usually at least one bridesmaid will complain about how their hair or makeup turned out but everyone was in love with their look, especially having the airbrush coverup! Highly recommend this team for any future brides looking for an affordable, reliable and high quality team to do their wedding hair/makeup.

I got a facial done by Taylor and I loved it! She was very professional and kind and she did an amazing job. It was relaxing and the products Taylor used by dermologica were refreshing, gentle, and effective. She listened and gave me a facial that was just right for my skin. I left my appointment glowing!!

I contacted the owner, Sarah, maybe 2 months before my wedding after another stylist couldn't fulfill our signed contract and became unresponsive to outreach. She was quick to respond and was extremely professional. Not only did she fit in my wedding during a packed holiday weekend, but brought multiple hair and makeup professionals from her incredibly talented team. She was even able to fit me in for a hair and mu trial before the last minute wedding date! Prices were beyond reasonable, very efficient team in order to get all photographs done before the ceremony, and we even had enough time for my mom to decide she wanted make up too (which is a testament to their talent). Everyone felt gorgeous as Sarah's team personalized each look to individual preferences and features. Beyond that THEY ARE SO MUCH FUN! Could not recommend anyone more 💕

I have never had a better experience at a salon! Isabella Rose and Brandon both helped to do my makeup for my birthday, and I’ve never felt or looked better! They saved the day, I couldn’t be more thankful. I will continue to come back here not only for the talented makeup artists, but also for the kind and understanding staff. I had specific requests when it came to my airbrush makeup/eye makeup, and they exceeded my expectations. Thank you Isabella and Brandon!

Truly the best salon with the best staff! Sarah has been doing my hair for years and it comes out perfect each time no matter what style I choose. Taylor has been an absolute life saver for my skin. She introduced me to Dermalogica and gave me the best most relaxing facial. Highly recommend to everyone!!

Absolutely amazing! I've always had very long hair & I was ready for a change. I got my hair cut to my shoulders and absolutely love it. They layered my hair (other stylists couldn't because it's so fine) and it looks amazing and much thicker. I also got my make up done which was incredible. They were nice enough to talk me through the best way to style my hair and each step of doing my make up. I never realized the power of contour! These girls really know what they're doing. Awesome experience.

Taylor was so great! I haven't had a facial in a long time and this was just the perfect treat. She's very knowledgeable and personable. Great tips for taking care of my skin and my skin was just fabulously glowy after the facial

Rhonda has done my hair for years and she always goes above and beyond; sensing exactly what I need. I will be sad to see her go as she moves on to the next chapter in her life. The salon staff are professional and attentive. Highly recommend!
