The cornflake crusted chicken tenders, perogies, Tennessee hot chicken sandwich, and Signature Frenched Chicken were amazing. Our server was great. The restaurant was nice. We will go back again.

This place is a hidden gem right in the heart of St. Michael! We were first time diners & our visit was wonderful. There weren’t any tables available (was a Friday night) & we decided to sit at the bar. Our bartender was so sweet; the vibe at this place is also very relaxed. Highly recommend the mushroom risotto (I added salmon). Their lemonade is homemade & AMAZING too!

Second time eating here. It’s bigger on the inside than what it looks like from the parking lot. Both times we have not had a problem getting a table and one was a busy night for them. Today we had a party of 6 and were seated in a private room which I didn’t know they had. It worked out well because my 4 kids and myself tend to be on the louder side. Got the fries and nachos appetizers. We probably could have skipped the fries because each kid got fries with their meal. The nachos are good, the cheese sauce is poured over the chips and the toppings are in piles around the plate. This works out well for people that do not like all the toppings. I ordered the Frenched Chicken. It was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. I also tried the Thai chicken pasta and enjoyed that as well. Overall we had a good time and plan on returning in the future.

We occasionally do a work outing at Main Street Farmer and can not get enough of the delicious food! The staff is super friendly and offer great service. We are happy with anything we've ordered and excellent mixed drinks.

My husband and I had dinner here tonight. The drinks were great, our service was fantastic and the food was tasty. I had the scallops and my husband had the ribeye. We got the fried risotto cakes as a starter. The atmosphere was nice. We texted our neighbor friends about going there someday as a group and using one of the rooms the have for our crew. I appreciate their dedication to using local products. We will visit again.

Celebrated my wife's birthday here tonight. It was our first time in, so we were learning the ropes a bit, but everything on the menu sounded amazing.

We ordered a couple of the fries apps and between that and the pasta, incredible food!

The environment was a bit loud. We did learn of some more private seating thats easier to obtain with a call ahead of time (there's some booths and even some tables that are behind a wall). There was limited options for our kids (3 y/o and 8 m/o); but this was the least of our worries.

Overall, we can't wait to return and sample the many food options we didn't order. :)

Delightful experience at this trendy upscale venue. Service was exceptional - Jessica is a real pro and very welcoming. All team members seemed glad to be there which really added to the atmosphere. Hard floors, brick walls, and metal ceiling make it a bit loud for quiet conversation, but it does make for an upbeat vibe.

Menu is modest in its number of entree options, but there's also a good assortment of apps and burgers to choose from. We enjoyed a delicious, and expertly prepared, Filet Mignon sitting on top of a mountain of creamy mashed potatoes, garnished with roasted root vegetables, and all of it sitting in just the right amount of a savory red wine reduction. Another diner enjoyed smoked salmon linguini which was beautifully presented and very tasty. The salmon was extra smokey and nicely balanced out by the pasta. Drinks and desert were also very good. Not inexpensive, but quality food and service of this caliber rarely is. We'll be back.

Bryan was the absolute bees knees and as industry professionals we adore a good service person. Food was top notch. Atmosphere was lovely.

This place has a wonderful atmosphere and the service is amazing. Their food was absolutely delicious. We had steak and chicken and devoured it.

Absolutely FANTASTIC!! Tenderloin was amazing. Old Fashioned Farmer was one of the best old fashioned I have ever had. Service was awesome. It was obvious that the owners have worked to train the staff well. Their teamwork was very noticeable. It is a place for families as well as an elegant dinner out.. it meets all types of tastes and experiences. Prices were great. Food presentation was wonderful. This is a new fave! It is a must.. you will love it!

First time visiting was a Tuesday burger night. We sat at the bar because the restaurant was busy. The bar was actually very enjoyable to sit at and have dinner. The service was really good even though they were busy. We really enjoyed our burgers and the fries were very tasty. I would love to come back for dinner again and even try breakfast! Great restaurant for St Michael.

Wow what an awesome place!
They have a really cool space that is inviting and fun to walk into.
They have a space for kids to play or get toys, books, crayons, etc. to take back to your table.
The service was great! Everyone was super nice and welcoming.
The food was amazingly delicious and tasted so fresh! With everything we ordered got to try several things...
Two of kids ordered specials of the day, 1st was pancake meal - really good, different from most places but really good, my oldest finished it off surprisingly as it was 3 good size pancakes with bacon. 2nd was egg and bacon meal, very tasty! Our other daughter ordered Mac and Cheese with chicken soup...both were good and really large for a small kids order. If the kids would have agreed on wanting that it would have fed two of them easily. One note, there was a lot celery in the soup, I'm not a celery person so I wouldn't order it myself, but it was still a very good soup.
Being from the south I always try biscuits and gravy when available, most the time when in northern areas I am disappointed with my order...not this time! It was different than a normal, the biscuits have stuff baked in and the gravy is more than just sausage but it created a wonderful blend of flavors! The eggs and potatoes were a great side to complete the dish!
Do yourself a favor and stop by for the best food in St. Michael!

Great food, drinks, and service. I love that the menu is frequently updated, but they keep some of their staple items on the menu. We love this place for a last minute date night!

What a great idea $59 bucks for 2 entrees
2 wines 2 desserts. However, we splurged and had 3 extra wines. Well worth it.
The food was phenomenal.
French chicken and pesto pasta.
Our waitress, a very young 20 year old named Mandy. She was super. We took two hours of her time. She was just so pleasant.

The food was excellent, very fresh and flavorful. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Excellent food and service. Drink menu is lovely with a wide variety of cocktails and wine.

Very unique food with an interesting menu. Service was great. Everything is homemade. We had the lamb hamburger with fries. A bowl of wild rice chicken soup. And a Reuben, the sauerkraut was homemade, and all of their dressings and sauces are homemade. Because they make their own dressings they are very limited in varieties. Big wide open Airy space, but the tables were very very close together.i don't know if it was because they planned on a busy night? But with all the space, they should spread the tables out so you can have a private dinning experience. I would still highly recommend this place and I look forward to trying other kitchen made cuisines . great job!!!!!!

The price is a bit steep but you can tell there is quality in the ingredients they use. The portions are large and the food tastes amazing. I got the Norwegian salmon filet with carrots, kale, and baby potatoes which was all cooked perfectly. The garlic aioli that comes with the farm fresh bread tastes so good and I highly recommend getting it.
The staff is very friendly. I didn't drink my macchiato because it was too strong for me and they took it off the check. This surprised me but only makes me want to come back more.
Overall, it is expensive but the taste quality of the food outweighs the price. I would recommend coming here.

The Tenderlion I had here was absolutely fantastic! All the meals my family had was amazing! I had a tenderloin at Crave in Eden Praire a few weeks ago and I was very disappointed because I thought it was gonna be just as awesome as the tenderloin I got here back in October! I highly recommend this place!

I had a great time at the Main Street Farmer Eatery last night and I would love to share my experience:

I will start with our server, Devan, who arrived at our table just after we sat down and very much played a part in guaranteeing a great experience for us. She was energetic, excited to be there and clearly passionate about the work/art being provided at the Main Street Farmer Eatery. Being that it was a busy Saturday night at the restaurant I can understand how that might overwhelm servers with the mass amount of food, drinks and other requests coming from all tables under her watch - not her. She made it a certainty that we were more than happy with our experience at the table and with the food/drinks. Next time we visit (which WILL be happening) we would love to have her as our server again.

As for the meal, I had their Signature Frenched Chicken which is a chicken breast stuffed with garlic-sage cheese, wrapped in prosciutto mashed potatoes, pan-gravy & long green beans. These are some of my favorite foods and it was immaculate. The chicken was a great mix between (what I'm assuming) is grilled and baked, the green beans were fresh and flavorful and the mashed potatoes were arguably my favorite part of the meal. Additionally, it was a healthy size portion. I was full before my food was gone but I couldn't help but clean my plate. It was so good that we had Devan give our compliments to the Chef. After a few minutes the Chef, Zach, came to our table to speak with us about the meal. We had to tell him just how pleased we were with the food. We found out that he is 24 years old and never went to culinary school and is self-taught. I found this to be an incredible feat as in my personal opinion his cooking could compete with, and even beat, some fine-dining restaurants in downtown Minneapolis. My only gripe is that this restaurant has been here for years and I haven't taken the time to stop in sooner.

As we were about to head out for the night the owner, Jonathan, stopped by our table to say thank you for coming in and was pleased to hear about our experience from his staff. We had a great conversation about his prior experiences in this industry and found out that he also owns the BK Tap Haus next door so that's where we headed next. The General Manager, Tony, greeted us once we sat down at our table. We proceeded to have a couple drinks over the course of the next 2 hours to conclude our night in the town.

To summarize: the staff, food, environment and experience was unforgettable. I'm not usually the type to write reviews about restaurants but they absolutely deserved this one. We will be back.
