The Cupola Above Seneca Bed and Breakfast

With much appreciation to Jerry and Christopher for a memorable stay at their bed and breakfast. This was our first journey to the Finger Lakes region and it did not disappoint. Besides the wonderful wineries and calming scenery, our hosts supplied a nice oasis to be a part of for 3 days. The rooms were cozy and well decorated and the breakfasts were superb. Not all bed and breakfasts are created equal. You will find this out when you visit. Jerry and Christopher were the consummate hosts with superior accommodations, timely suggestions and lastly, endearing conversation. When we visit the Finger Lakes again, The Cupola Above Seneca will be our home away from home.

This was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and Jerry and Christopher set the bar really high! Recently renovated, spacious and comfortable accommodations and probably top three breakfasts I’ve ever had. They are great about dietary restrictions and also provide amazing recommendations to truly get the most out of your stay. The location is perfect for anyone looking to go to wineries, out on the lake or hike. Beautiful view of the lake from the front porch. Cookies when coming home from a long hike were an added and much appreciated plus.

Thank you so much, Jerry and Christopher, for the beyond incredible and exceptional experience we had at your B&B home, the Cupola Above Seneca. Such a gracious, heart-warming welcome that we received, making us feel right at home from the very beginning. All the living areas, bedroom were all luxuriously furnished in a pleasing and inviting manner, bed was amazingly comfortable! And wanted to take it home with us:-) The expansive porch had huge windows, also very nice balconies, which provided breath-taking views of the lake and beautiful scenery. The 3-course breakfast was absolutely delicious, created with healthy ingredients and having such a pleasing presentation. Jerry and Christopher were great conversationalists, sharing wonderful stories; so knowledgeable about the area and provided us all suggestions based on our individual interests. Jerry and Christopher and their B&B were truly the highlight of our 3 week vacation. We hope we can be in the area again someday, and definitely recommend their B&B to anyone that wishes to visit the Finger Lakes area!

My husband and I have just returned home from a 3 night stay at The Cupola above Seneca and I cannot speak highly enough about our experience there. Christopher and Jerry are consummate hosts who have created a lovely, peaceful oasis in the Seneca Lake area. Their home is beautifully decorated and our room was very nice with a comfortable bed and private balcony. You can see that a lot of thought and planning went in to renovating and decorating this property. The 3 course breakfast was delicious and we truly enjoyed our conversations with the owners who are so lovely and engaging. If you are traveling to the Seneca Lake area (without children, as they are not allowed), this is the place to stay!

My wife and I, along with good friends, stayed at the Cupola for 3 nights. It was our first time to visit the finger lakes. This ended up being a great location from which we could explore the region.

The owners of the Cupola (Jerry and Christopher) were the consummate hosts and did everything they could to make our stay memorable. From the delicious breakfast each morning to the well-appointed rooms to the picturesque setting, we were greatly satisfied with our total experience. We enjoyed spending time on the screened-in porch, with Seneca Lake visible in the background.

Jerry and Christopher provided helpful recommendations on restaurants, hikes, vineyards and other site-seeing opportunities in the region.

We hope to stay at Jerry & Christopher’s Cupola B&B in the future and continue to experience all that the region has to offer.

Thank you Christopher and Jerry for such a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect from the location above the lake, the rooms, and the incredibly delicious 3-course breakfast every morning. The views of the lake were beautiful to wake up to every morning and the proximity of the house to downtown made travel easy. The house was very clean, comfortable, cozy, and we really felt at home. We appreciated all of the recommendations Christopher and Jerry gave to us and also enjoyed our daily conversations together at breakfast. Our stay at the Cupola was everything we hoped it would be. Christopher and Jerry have a true gift for hospitality that shines through in everything about this home. From the artful renovations to the delicious breakfasts and warm, friendly atmosphere, this is a truly outstanding B and B. The location is beautiful, and proximate to Watkins Glen and beautiful Seneca Lake. We are so glad we chose this location for our time in the Finger Lakes.

My husband, Boris, and I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Cupola Above Seneca, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, we were taken aback by the breathtaking view of Seneca Lake from the front porch. The location was simply mesmerizing.
The room itself was beautifully appointed, and the beddings were so comfortable that we had some of the best nights' sleep during our trip. Waking up to the sight of the lake every morning was a real treat.
One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious 3-course breakfast that was served daily. The variety and taste were outstanding, and it was a perfect way to kickstart our day of exploring the area.
However, the true gems of The Cupola Above Seneca are Christopher and Jerry. They were incredibly accommodating, and their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. Not only did they take care of our every need, but they also made wonderful conversation partners. Their knowledge of the local area and recommendations for activities and places to visit enriched our trip even further.

Jerry and Christopher are truly incredible hosts! They provided excellent recommendations (as well as breakfasts). And their home is just so beautiful; the view of Seneca Lake cannot be beat. Christopher and Jerry are the premier B & B hosts! Such an incredibly beautiful property that they renovated overlooking Seneca Lake. Beautiful, very comfortable rooms and gourmet breakfasts in a scerene and upscale atmosphere. Most of all, the hosts are extremely personable and helpful. What a great place to relax and recharge in the Finger Lakes area. We're looking forward to returning.

If I could give six stars, I would! Completely renovated in last few years. Great location at base of Seneca Lake allows for easy access to sites and vineyards on both sides of the lake. 3 course breakfast! My husband and I have stayed at many B&Bs over the years; never have we met friendlier, more accommodating hosts than Jerry and Christopher!

Our weekend at The Cupola Above Seneca was incredible. Chris and Jerry are amazing hosts. Our 3 course breakfasts were delicious and they were able to accommodate our dietary needs with ease. We really enjoyed relaxing on the patio and taking in the beautiful view of Seneca lake. Chris and Jerry gave us great recommendations for hikes, restaurants, and winery’s. The B&B was clean, spacious, and very welcoming. We can’t wait to go back!

What a Gem of a B & B!! Thank you soo,Soo much to Christopher and Jerry for making our stay the best of All B & B's we've Ever experienced. When Jerry and Christopher open their home(B& B) to guests, they really go ALL Out to please. Everything was immaculate, the food was Awesome and some uniqueness to their dishes! They also accommodate for food sensitivities. And all common areas, such as the Living Rm and porch were so uplifting w/the decor as well as the views! It's very obvious to see they truly love hosting and their willingness to share information on the area, the wineries, Watkins Glen State Park, the Farmer's Market and restaurants all just to please their guests!

My wife and I just got back from our weekend getaway in Watkins Glen. Our stay at Cupola above Seneca was incredible! Jerry and Christopher were such amazing hosts. The food was delicious and the house was so well done. You can really tell that they put a lot of time and care into making your stay as nice as possible. We didn't really have a plan other seeing the falls at Watkins Glen. Jerry was able to help us plan a day of waterfall hunting of all the best falls in the area. Their knowledge of the area is outstanding, whether it's wine and beer tours or waterfall hinting like us. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality! We hope to be back really soon to check out the other place on your list.

You can tell how much love and work have gone into restoring The Cupola into the beautiful retreat that it is today. The rooms are impeccably clean and comfortable, making it easy to feel at home. There were three other couples staying at the same time as us and we never heard a peep while we were in our room. The breakfast is not only delicious but enough to leave you full and fueled for whatever adventures you have planned. Not only would I recommend it, I hope to stay there again myself.

The highlight of our trip to the Finger Lakes was staying at The Cupola Above Seneca. Jerry and Christopher were wonderful hosts. The decor of the bed and breakfast was beautiful and we felt right at home the minute we walked in the door. Jerry and Christopher were extremely helpful with suggestions for thing to do and places to eat. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast. They give you a truly gourmet breakfast experience that is different each day. Looking forward to returning on our next visit to Seneca Lake.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this B and B ... it was everything we could ask for! The inn keepers, Christopher and Jerry, were wonderful and thought of every little detail to ensure that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We felt pampered and certainly very well fed! Christopher's culinary was evident by the quality and professionalism of the breakfasts that were served... that French toast dish was amazing and truly our favorite! They both made us feel very comfortable and we had a lot of fun chatting with them.

The beds were super comfy and the rooms immaculately clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom looked like it was brand new! The views from our room and the outdoor seating areas were incredible; the sunsets across the lake were simply stunning! The best part was the screened porch, where we spent most of our time. The location was perfect for us, close to our favorite wineries.

This was hands down one of the best bed and breakfasts I have stayed at. Christopher and Jerry keep The Cupola above Seneca pristine and their hard work is exemplified through all of the detail involved in staying at their residence. The rooms and house were spotless and felt very fresh which was a pleasant surprise for being an older building. In addition to providing a great place to stay, Christoper and Larry offer a plethora of insight into local attractions and the best way to go about tackling them. Following one pleasant conversation with them over breakfast (an amazingly cooked one at that), we were able to plan out a wonderful day that took us through a myriad of waterfalls to wineries and other local favorites without us having to waste time deciding on and ciphering through everything ourselves.

This B&B is delightful in every way!!! Hosts Christopher and Jerry are warm and welcoming, we felt at home immediately. The house and our room were beautifully decorated and immaculately spotless. We thoroughly enjoyed our comfy bed, lux linens and a private balcony! The large private bath had plenty of space to spread out and feel at home. The screened porch on the main floor was a favorite place to sit and watch the sunset over Seneca Lake. And then, there are the breakfasts! What can we say? Great coffee! The 3 course breakfasts were delicious, beautifully presented, and, did I say delicious?! We will most definitely stay there again when in the area.

This was our second stay at The Cupola Above Seneca and we had a wonderful time! Christopher and Jerry were incredibly welcoming, giving suggestions for restaurants or wineries based on our daily plans. Their pride in the home shines through in every detail, from the rooms to the common areas, to the breakfast menus (we were touched to learn they even tried to ensure our breakfasts this trip were different from what they were a year ago during our first stay!) We're already planning our third trip for next year. Highly recommend!
