Chef Restaurant Mediterranean Grill

Okay I admit I haven’t been here in some time. I was craving a chicken gyro. I ordered carry out. When I walked in the dessert case was calling my name. The best dark chocolate cake around. The gyro was flavorful and chicken juicy. Trying to figure out how I can get a full cake for a work event. It’s that good!!

I had the opportunity today to photograph this restaurant's menu items. I also purchased the meat shawarma, white fish, shish tawook and chicken shawarma plates. Very tasty!! The garlic is fresh and only made of garlic!! The chicken and beef and fish are well seasoned.
The restaurant seemed very clean but most of all, the owner Manal is very pleasant and very passionate about her dishes. You will NOT be disappointed!!

Good vegan options! The veggie options are little pricey for what you get, but still very tasty.

Fresh and made from scratch, meats seasoned, soften and marinated. Veggies washed, diced and prepared, soups - homemade and not processed. Vegan fare, gluten free, all taste divine and excellent. A tucked away hidden treasure in plain sight. I can not exclaim enough about this restaurant. Stews, main dishes, lamb chops to die for, yes schwarma’s off the chain too! Again, do not let the outside nor simple and plain interior fool you👍🏾

Chef Restaurant Mediterranean Grill has the best lentil soup in town!!! It’s spicy but extremely tasty! You must try it! The woman that is there is Extremely nice as well.

This has to be the best and most authentic Mediterranean restaurant! My family and I love how kind the owner of the restaurant is and how much love she puts in her food!! After eating her fettuccine Alfredo I can’t eat any other fettuccine Alfredo because it is so delicious. My whole family loves her fettuccine Alfredo and her shawarmas as well! Amazing family of the restaurant and such an amazing environment inside!! You must go. 10/10

My go-to place for shawarma! The proportions are always generous and so flavorful. Pricing is amazing for the amount you get, and I’d recommend to anyone who wants authentic Mediterranean cuisine!

Stopped here and got the stuffed grape leaves and hummus. The stuffed grape leaves are HUGE and sooo good! Hummus is awesome as well! Wish I lived closer I would be a regular! Love grape leaves!

Love it here. My favorite sandwich is the shish tawook, the fries are almost always perfect and crispy, the owner is incredibly kind and friendly, all around great experience and solid Mediterranean option.

Some of the best chicken shawarma I've ever had! I get it nearly everyday for lunch when I'm working in the area. It's reasonably priced and the woman working the counter (and I believe also cooking/prepping) in the back is very friendly. 10/10 would recommend!

I ordered the Arabic tea and lamb gyro sandwich. I will be back soon! I can't believe I've driven by this place so many times without trying. The flavors and fresh ingredients were very tasty.

One of the best spots in Ypsi, if you are near EMU I highly recommend you check it out. Their Spicy Whitefish was so delicious I ended up ordering it two days in a row!

I used to visit here all the time while I was at EMU. Their shawarma is still the best I ever tasted! Not overstuffed, a good combination of flavors in each bite. Lentil soup is excellent. Excellent food altogether. Nice atmosphere and friendly.

I am SO glad I decided to order food here. I'm from out of state and decided I wanted Mediterranean. Absolutely everything I ordered was so incredibly delicious....So delicious I'm making it a regular stop when driving through. It felt awesome supporting a local business too.

This is the best Mediterranean I've ever had. My family loves Mediterranean food, and we've always ordered from chain restaurants, but we decided to try a new place and we were so pleased! The restaurant is clean, and the owner is so welcoming and kind. The food is so delicious and such a good price! I highly recommend!

Such a warm welcome for my first time! I had her pick for a vegetarian option for me and I was given the best falafel wrap I’ve ever had! Will definitely be making this a regular spot!

My boyfriend went there today and ordered me a chicken shawarma with extra sauce and an order of baklava and as an avid eater shawarma and baklava I can honestly say this was hands down the BEST I have ever had of either!!!!!! 10000 precent would recommend! The service was super friendly and cheerful! ALL AROUND AN AMAZING PLACE TO GO!!!!
