Clarks Grove Market and Liquor

I love my small town store. Its convenient and has a lot of options...donuts made fresh daily, pastries & cookies/muffins baked fresh daily. Breakfast choices, croissants, steak bagel, burritos, and more. Lunch options are freshly made mini pizzas at lunchtime, subs, burgers, chicken legs, chicken bites & more. If you want a Medium/Large pizza made to order, sometimes we only have 1 employee running the entire store and can't answer the phone right away. Deli is closed after lunch..until 4pm. We have a few minor flaws, but this is NOT a corporate store. Now that we have new management, the whole team is working hard to fix ALL the problems previous management created.
The one thing nobody should have to ever do, is entertain a rude spirit. If you want a positive experience...then start with a positive attitude so we can help. I should address the printer paper..that's out of the employees control...it's not because of our staggering "laziness". As far as tax on gas goes, we don't have the option to add tax onto your order, tax is automatically calculated. You can always ask for a receipt, and dispute any charge(?)
Lastly, employees dont have to pay cash immediately for food etc, we are allowed to charge what we want, anytime during (or after) our shift.

lots of selection reasonable prices compared to other conv. stores and awesome pizza not all small towns have a place to get milk gas coffee smokes and bread. Ask the people that live in a small town without a gas station i bet they say it sucks to have to drive into "town" just for a pack of smokes expec. on the winter!

Kane the cashier was big help and vary kind professional when asked for help. All cashiers should be more like him a wonderful stop.

Love the name. Never been here. I’m currently planning on it though. Stay strong gophers.

New owners are really making changes for the better

Why do you never have receipt paper at the pumps? If your going to have pumps that ask if you would like a receipt then you better have receipt paper at the pumps. I do not want to have to come in and ask for my receipt! I asked your clerk if someone is ever going to put receipt paper at the pumps and he replied "No". It does not take that much time to change the receipt paper. Hell give me the paper I'll change it for you if it's to much of an inconvenience for your coworkers. Someone needs to go in there and retrain all your staff. This isn't the only concern I have. I live in town and avoid going there unless I need gas for my lawn mower. The first impression your customers see is the outside condition and the cleanliness. If your staff can't maintain that what do you think the customers impression is with your kitchen since you make and handle food there? I'll never eat there. It's probably an inconvenience to wash your hands first before handling food. And check your dates on the product you sell.

The clerk ripped off my Christian youth group from gas for false advertisement. Then the clerk countinued the yell at our group for ten minutes saying we were unreasonable and called the cops! Ver bad service do not come here.

Some employees are great, others laugh at you when you show up just past closing time because you forgot the hours changed. Worked for the owner over 10 years ago and never displayed customer service like that, smh...just not right.

Was told this is not a campground any more do not waste your time here!

If you enjoy the smell of cigarettes and mold this is a beautiful stop off the interstate.

Hard to order a pizza when no one answers the phone. Tried twice, rang for 1 minute both times and still no answer.
