Staff is atrocious; the school is unorganized and they offer very little opportunities. Teachers are OK, the classmates are okay (yet the overall attitude is "yolo" and "who cares about school, the majority of students don't seem to take their futures seriously) and homework isn't too heavy. It's easy.... almost too easy.
If you're forced to go here, test out of as many classes as you can and take advanced classes. You'll be able to go to the William D. Ford technical school and earn a certificate. If you can't, keep in mind that the school only has an Auto certificate and a lifeguard certificate. (What... I wasn't lying when I said that the opportunities here were limited.)
But if you are looking for a school that is respected by colleges and has opportunities for your child... You're better off sending them to a private school, or to another public school farther west.

Wish I could put 0 stars half of the staff here are rude and not understanding of your problems, the other half are overly friendly and passive aggressive. Students don't care about education here, they're at least 3 physical fights every month. The food is awful, there's drama every day that almost takes over classes. The education you would receive here is about as meaningful as a degree in burger cooking from McDonalds. No heating or cooling so you're freezing of burning at any given time. I've seen more fist fights than vocabulary words I've been taught here.

Was a lot better in the 90's, the entire district has gone way down hill since. The current administration is spineless towards student's parents and will cater to them even when their degenerate child is in the wrong.
