Great coffee and beautiful practices! We were greeted by a very friendly employee and filled our mugs for a dollar each. Sipping at their delicious thunderbolt encouraged us to by several bags of beans to take home. I love that they are environmentally and socially conscious and I love my new cloth Carpe Diem bag, a complimentary gift to carry our coffee home in.

My wife and I started having Carpe Diem coffee back around 2004 at Jordan Pond House in Acadia. Since we found out where you were located we come to Wells about three times a year. We turned our motorcycle friends on to your coffee also and then we get orders to pickup for them too.

Two of my favorite things in life are travel and coffee. And in the past when they were combined - eg enjoying a large cup of cappuccino in a cliff-side cafe overlooking the Adriatic - it was magical. But 1 year ago I had my first cup of Carpe Diem coffee (Sunrise Blend) and it changed my perspective. Over the past 2 weeks I was traveling in Europe for the first time in a long time. It was wonderful but every morning I thought to myself……”This would be truly perfect if I just had my Carpe Diem coffee.” I know I have to pack some next time but I’m so grateful that I don’t need to travel to enjoy your truly amazing coffee. Thank you Carpe Diem!!!

I love this coffee! Such friendly people work there, and during the pandemic, they were such nice voices on the phone. Now that the shop is open, we still do a monthly run for 2# of French roast whole bean. Keeping this business alive is essential!!

Carpe Diem Coffee Roasting Company has the gift. These coffees are the best I've ever tasted, and I've been drinking coffee routinely since I was 15 years old. It was cool to visit the roasting location and see and smell the process. They had more varieties in the store than were listed online. I felt I was on a fun field trip to get the best coffee. I got two bags of my favorite, Foggy Morning Blend. Also a pound of Fireside Blend, Pumpkin, and a little sample size bag of Vanilla. It was worth the drive!

I asked my husband to pick up a couple of pounds of coffee for me using the contactless pick up. He went and came home with one pound! He had paid for two. I emailed them and they left a note for him with "the second pound". LOVE THEM! We are loyal Carpe Diem coffee drinkers and will continue to be as long as they are roasting!.

This is one of the best coffee roasters I have had coffee from and I have had tons of coffee from all over. This brand of coffee is served in many of my favorite coffee places and restaurants in Maine. Every visit to Maine I buy a few bags to bring home. One word of caution. If you are used to the corporate coffee shops that over roast the beans and you need to add tons of sugar or milk, try it without anything and slowly add what you need. In my experience, the better the coffee, the less milk and sugar you need. And this coffee is going to save you alot of sugar and milk. I haven't visited the shop.....yet.

There Thunderbolt coffee is the best coffee I’ve tasted. I’ve been ordering from them for over 5 yrs and when I comes to service there the LL Beam of coffee companies. Best coffee, Best service, what else can I say.

Great selection of coffees roasted on the premises. Organic coffees are available. Owners and staff care about their coffees, customers and environment. They have a solar power installation.

Carpe Diem is the best. Superior beans and nice people. Go in to the facility if you're in North Berwick and love coffee to get it by the 5 lbs bag.

Not exactly a coffee shop but you can get a cup and some beans to take home. (Yes, they will grind them for you too)

BEST coffee you can get!!! There Vanilla bean is the only flavord coffee I will drink.
