The staff at Horizen are very knowledgeable and always willing to help, I particularly enjoy working with Matt, Nate, and Antonio. I never feel rushed and always find exactly what I need. Prices are very competitive but anytime I see a difference in price elsewhere the guys here will match or beat it so I don’t have to go anywhere else. Give these guys a try, you’ll be glad you did!

They have really nice plants at good prices but the plant lights are a bit pricey

This place isn’t good...it’s great! I’ve spent well over a month putting together a supply and material list, getting all my needs in order for my indoor grow. It took me the better portion of that time to find a vendor that carries everything, and if they do, pricing always seems to be an issue. I found one store online that seemed to have better prices than even amazon, which alone blew my mind. What blew my mind even more was when I messaged them explaining my situation and they promptly responded, and contacted personnel to let them know. The staff was ready when I arrived, already proactively trying to identify my social media account I messaged them from, and trying hard to find a way to open a line of communication with me. Matt, the stores manager was prepared to take the necessary time and patience to handle my lengthy requests. Not only did Horizen Hydro have everything I needed, they had stuff I didn’t even plan on buying. I only could because the tremendous amount of savings this place gave me. Every time I come to this place the staff, especially Matt and Jay, are Uber friendly, listen, and also give advice. It’s a blessing to have these kind people, operating a business people like me need. They gave me the best prices on the market...I can’t stress that enough THE BEST PRICES ON THE MARKET. Not only did choosing to talk with Matt before making this purchase elsewhere save me a ton of money, it helped me get far more forward in my process than I could ever have gone without them. The manager even helped me load my items in my car, and wished me a farewell, excellent customer service! Thank you again, Matt, Jay, and everyone else at Horizen that made this experience so great. You’ve helped me so much, and you have a loyal lifelong customer for just being yourselves, listening, and most of all having a overall urge to help someone out.

most things competitive prices (will add match on same product ) decent selection and friendly staff. Better off ordering led sets offline though they only carry very high end. They could use a better grow tent/hut selection and microbe set though. Post covid prices have gone up staff is still friendly though.

Awesome store! Very clean and organized with fair prices and plenty of discounts. Got a light today and the gentleman behind the counter was very helpful in setting up a package based on my cooling, sq footage, and room shape. I'm not the best at making myself clear or knowing exactly what I need but he did a great job.

The prices are amazing for being right down the street and they always have what I need.

I just purchased a clip on fan today and when I got home it was very noisy and the casing was damaged.

I went back in and they tested the fan and new fan for me and exchanged it in 3 minutes!

I got home and put fan back in my set up and it was as quiet as a mouse. Worth the trip back and worth every trip ever!!

I would highly recommend shopping here for all of your grow equipment and supplies! The staff at Horizon is extremely knowledgeable, they really have a passion for what they do. The staff is amazing and really friendly! I would recommend asking for either Ryan that works here. This shop definitely has a community vibe and I will not be shopping anywhere else.

I came in last week searching for a solution to rid spider mites from a few of my favorite plants. After talking to a really great associate (I’m sad I forget his name, but he and my husband bonded over having to live in their wives’ at-home jungles!) I left with a trove of new information and a DIY solution to my problem. Cannot believe how nice and helpful and honest they were. Thank you guys, we’ll be back again and again!

I've been shopping at Horizon Hydroponics for the last 7 years. The staff especially Matt is always very helpful with any questions I may have. The products they keep in stock tend to be quality and useful. The ordering system for items not carried in stock is very efficient on getting items to store extremely fast with truck deliveries twice a week. The loyalty they show to returning customers, makes you want to keep coming back. It's most definitely ran to a 5 star standard!

Great first time shopping experience. Man these guys go out of their way to get you the best deal they can. They got grow green beat for sure. Oh I and drive 150 miles past quite a few other stores to shop there.

I have to say... i’ve been to a few hydroponic stores in Kalamazoo and was not impressed. I’ve been growing for about six years so it’s safe to stay I still have questions. One of your employees Angela stood out from the rest, very knowledgeable ,very helpful,very friendly...all the things you look for when your life is growing and you need valuable information. Huge help to me, had my cloning solutions in stock and even price matched Amazon, (they were only a few bucks away from each other). Extremely knowledgeable staff, definitely will come here more often!

The staff is very helpful and they will do what it takes do get what you need. Very knowledgeable about most of the product sold there. I solely go to horizens because of there good prices and selection. Hopefully they will have a Cloning Class in the future for Kalamazoo.

This is about the website being unmaintained. I can't use the search tool bar without being kicked out of it. I keep checking back since I moved here in April of 2018 but it's still a broke website even after downloading another browser and trying another device. I'll try to go in and say something and show them.(Updated) While nothing has changed with the website, go figure I went in and the 2 guys at the store were very cool very respectful and alot of help. Good prices on most things. Cheaper than HTG right down the street. Plus they carried the custom dirt exclusive to their store only. At just $16. and change. Got a few kewl samples and event discount offers for next time. Overall the store has great representation and a nice atmosphere can't wait to return today and buy more stuff. I like that the prices don't make me feel likke running to Amazon/Ebay for everything although I still buy alot there.

Excellent selection of items, I have yet to go in for something and not find it. The prices are better than other shops in the area. Definitely check out the rewards program, I saved $75 on my last visit just for buying items I would have anyway on previous visits.

Jason from this store it the best. He assisted me above and beyond today providing me with the best advice and the best customer service i have ever received. I recommend this store because every one there makes you feel like family. Thanks again jason.

Great people, great product selection, competitive prices, nice store in a convenient location. The best all around hydro store I've found, mostly because of the people who work there, who are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Virtually anything and everything you need to get your home garden indoor setup going. They have a massive selection of growing mediums and nutrient supplements to get any system up and running, and growing away. The staff is friendly and super helpful, have always hooked a brother up with what I need.
