Horton Creek Inn B&B

Jeannie and Dave were the perfect hosts, and we had a wonderful weekend at the Inn! They accommodated my dietary needs and breakfast was great, not to mention we ate while watching fawns and woodpeckers in the backyard. They have done an incredible job with the grounds and have thought of every little detail to make your stay comfortable.

My wife and I stayed here last week for our 39th anniversary and we will be back for our 40th! Maybe sooner.
Dave & Jeannie are truly wonderful people who work very hard to keep the place immaculate inside and out.
The outside grounds around the back and pool area rival the most beautiful parks you have ever seen.
Breakfast was 5-stars! Jeannie told us she used to run a bakery on the property making wedding cakes and such.
Around 5pm they set out a dessert and fresh coffee in the dining room. The dining room overlooks the backyard area where we watched giant woodpeckers and birds of all kinds while eating breakfast.
It was so peaceful and relaxing to just lounge around the pool area and take in some sun.
The library is well stocked with wonderful books on local history and more. The rooms are VERY cozy and the beds were as comfortable as my own.
We will be back!

Place is very clean. Room was really comfortable. Hosts were incredibly nice. Food was fantastic. Everything a great BnB should be.

I can't say enough about this place and Dave & Jeannie, our hosts. It's our go to getaway for peace, quiet and beauty. The breakfasts are always inspired. The rooms are spotless and comfortable and the grounds invite walking, sitting and relaxing with a sparkling pool if you're so inclined. Highly recommend!

This bed and breakfast was so beautiful and clean. The environment was so nice and quiet, spacious. Really enjoyed watching the birds out in the patio. Hosts were very friendly and her husband was a great cook! We even purchased two of their coffee mugs.❤

Horton Creek B&B is truly excellent! A wonderful place to spend the weekend if you're in the Charlevoix/Boyne City area. Jeannie and Dave, the hosts of this establishment, are really on top of the ball. They take great pride in running Horton Creek, and it really shows. They are super friendly people, and go out of their way to make sure every aspect of your stay is enjoyable.

We stayed here for two nights for an anniversary weekend, and loved everything about this place. Our room, which was the deer room was clean and cozy. Plenty of toiletries and towels. The outdoor pool was very nice- great view of the forest, and it was heated!

Jeannie cooked a gourmet breakfast each morning, which was really delicious, and had a fancy presentation as well! This is far and away the best breakfast I've ever had in a B&B. She also served desserts in the evening.

What more can I say... Thank you for making our anniversary truly memorable, and we will definitely be back!

Our stay at the Horton Creek Inn B&B was at enjoyable a stay as we have ever had! Our room was quiet and comfortable and the Inn is in the most beautiful setting on the outskirts of town. The hosts were amazing and gave us wonderful suggestions for dining out and places to visit. Breakfasts on the closed in porch were delicious and made even more enjoyable because we could enjoy the woodpeckers who frequented the trees in the back garden.

My husband and I have stayed at Horton Creek Inn B&B 2 times. Our first time we stayed 2 nights for our honeymoon. We stayed both times during the Venetian Festival in Charlevoix. The inn Is out of the downtown area which worked great for us. Jeanie and Dave are excellent hosts. They make everyone feel right at home. Their home is absolutely beautiful. Their grounds are gorgeous with all the amazing gardens.

This a wonderful gem set in the woods that is a perfect location for exploring this part of Michigan. The yard is beautiful with lots of seating areas for guests to enjoy. The house and innkeepers are very inviting and warm. They welcome you to sit and relax within this oasis they have created. Both breakfast and Jeannie's cherry dessert were delicious.

This bed and breakfast is BY FAR the very best bnb that I have ever visited. The breakfasts were fantastic, the surroundings cozy and luxurious, and the hospitality overall is/was over the top! The bedtime snacks are/were quite delicious, too! You cannot beat Horton Creek Inn, nestled in the woods and near two towns for extra entertainment. I highly recommend it!

Horton Creek Inn is truly our home away from home. We've been coming here for over 10 years and absolutely love every visit. The food is great, the rooms are amazing, the amenities are vast and the innkeepers are like our family. It's our #1 vacation spot every summer.

Such a beautiful B&B that is so well kept and just stunning. The property is tucked away in the woods and has a huge garden with corn hole, non fire, a heated outdoor pool and plenty of garden seating. The decor of the B&B is awesome and the details are so cute and make the space so cozy. Fire places and even a piano in the main lounge. The breakfast seating area is like out of a magazine and overlooks the garden. Jeanie is a wonderful host, so friendly and made us feel right at home and her husband is quite the chef. We had delicious banana split cake when we arrived and in the morning had stuffed French toast with sausage (with real maple syrup), coffee and orange juice. The room had a two person tub, robes and private entrance to the garden. Incredible place and I would love to return one day.

We stayed here for our anniversary and it was such a lovely, romantic getaway! Breakfast was great, the grounds were beautiful, and the room was very cozy and private. Lots of fun things to do in the area and the Inn is secluded in the woods without being too far from activities. Would recommend and would love to come back!

The owner and her husband were fantastic. The place was spotless, the social distancing was handled properly and successfully. Breakfast was amazing, the sights were breathtaking and the hospitality was on point. This B&B is deeper into the woods and secluded from the normal hustle and bustle. The views and the stars were just stunning! The pool and decks were wonderful! I wish I could stay with them several times a month lol this is a must go, for sure!

Jeannie and David are the best hosts. My sisters, mother, and I all had just the most wonderful time. The breakfasts were the perfect tasty start for our big days and the desserts at night were a beautiful ending to them. Highly recommend and would definitely love to return.

Horton Creek Inn Is an outstanding bed and breakfast. The owners are very hospitable and accommodating. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated, and very clean. We had a wonderful night sleep on a comfortable bed in a quiet room. The bedding, linens, and towels are of high quality. There is a sitting room with books, games, and a tv (we never turned the tv as who would want to waste the cozy atmosphere). We hope to stay again in the fall to enjoy the fireplace in the room and sitting room.

The grounds have numerous flower beds, hiking trails, in-ground heated swimming pool (pool floats and life jackets), and a bon fire pit. A gourmet breakfast is served each morning in a tree top sunroom with views of the gardens. If you are a bird watcher like us, you will be thrilled to see Humming Birds, Finches, … up close through the windows as you enjoy your delicious breakfast, coffee, tea, and juice.

There are many more special touches, but I won’t spoil the surprises. Make sure to leave time to read a book in one of the big cozy chairs inside, sit pool side, or enjoy being outside in a chair swing for two. Treat yourself to this wonderful inn to enjoy nature at it fullest.

This visit to Horton Creek Inn was our second, and again it was excellent in every way. The owners are attentive and friendly, they made sure our stay was perfect. The grounds are peaceful and beautiful. Breakfast was superb both mornings. We wanted a peaceful getaway, this stay was that and so much more.

Amazing bed and breakfast nestled in the woods in northern Michigan. It is in a perfect location as they are smack dab in the middle of Charlevoix, Petoskey, and Boyne City. The dining area is all glass so you can fully enjoy nature while you have breakfast, which was delicious every morning! They offer dessert, too! I loved it and plan to stay again in the future! Highly recommend.

The hosts were great!! They made my wife and I feel at home as soon as we drove up to the quiet secluded log home in the woods. Everything was beautiful and clean, from the landscaping to the well decorated home. If you like the woodsy, country atmosphere, this place is for you. We stayed three nights and breakfast each morning was different and amazing!! They are located between the down town of Charlevoix, Harbor Springs, Boyne City, and Petoskey. A 30 minute drive was the longest and each town was clean and inviting.
