Goodwill Buy the Pound Store & Recycling Center

My the favorite place to shop..hands down. You really need to learn the dynamics of shopping here as it can get really crowded and chaotic when new bins come out regularly. It's like black Friday shopping most of the time which is amazing price wise. But can fuel anxiety at times for sure with the trending lack of human courtesy. I highly Recommend this as being significantly cheaper than most traditional Goodwill stores and is awesome for budget conscious families

Goodwill by the pound is a shopping experience like no other. It's very funny as you sort through large bins of random stuff trying to find what you want. You never know what you'll find there, and once you find it the price is exceptional. The proceeds go to a good cause as well.

Great selection especially if your looking for clothes and shoes and great prices at 1.39 lb for clothes and shoes its one heck of a deal.

There’s definitely an unwritten set of rules you need to adhere to if you want to feel welcomed. But if you’re a newbie, it only takes about half an hour of observation and you’re no longer feeling like a rookie! Went here for the first time when my sister visited (we love thrifting). Definitely would recommend wearing gloves and masks like we did, the bottoms of the bins are kinda filthy but what else would you expect? If you’re all posh and proper and a tad bit snobby, you’ll find this a waste of time. But if you’re like us and love a good hunt for some awesome treasures, you’ll find yourself spending several hours here. It’s a fun experience! Just have some thick skin and be ready for some elbowing! It’s all a part of the Picker’s Culture!!!

Awesome, Thanks for being here. All the other goodwill and thrift shops you have to be rich to pay the prices, but here the pricing is fair. I'll keep go as long as it's the right price.

The goodwill by the pound I usually go to is much much more aggressive than this one
They only bring out bins twice a day so those that are complaining about this goodwill bringing in bins every hour should be grateful

Very pleasant staff on hand. We pick up different materials that go to a large recycling center in Massachusetts. The crew was excellent and helpful quickly directing me to the right person I needed to talk to for the pick up. Got me loaded withing 40 minutes and was on my way. Makes for a great start to the day.

If you like to go yard sailing then this place is for you. I started coming here a few months ago and it can be very addicting.. I’m always finding stuff for myself, family and friends or even to flip. Yes u have to go through big bins but u never know what U will find. It can be smelly and dirty, i suggest not wearing your best clothes and bring gloves. Wish I had discovered this place years ago:)

You can buy things by the pound. How cool is that?

New items are brought in pretty quickly, and shuffled out. There is always a decent crowd so items are picked over rather quickly, but it is also done in bulk so that is understandable. Probably a good place to go if you needed 20 pounds of winter clothing.

The staff is super helpful and happy to explain the "rules" to new comers as well, so feel free to ask.

Overall, most customers are courteous. Unlike stories I've read about other locations. Staff are nice as are the cashiers. Parking can be tough on really crowded days.

This place is awesome! The ULTIMATE in thrifting! .10/LB books and electronics, $1.39/LB nearly everything else. It's hard to describe - you just have to go and experience it for yourself. The entire store's inventory changes every couple of hours. What?? Yes! Just. Go. See.

This recycling and donation center is great for giving junk new homes. It has fantastic pricing and really good assortment of products. These are donated merchandise of course so things are used and pieces may be missing. Merchandise is sorted into bin's by groups like, clothes, shoes, books, glass, electronics, furniture, textile, movies/music, and everything else. Not everything's in bin's but what is in bin's does get handled and sometimes broken or separated from all its pieces by everyone handling things as they search through. This is the only reason I've considered taking a star off. While this is not Goodwill's intent it's still a product of the architecture of their setup. Goodwill also has a large and growing e-commerce section.

Found some great deals. Be prepared to dig. Gloves are recommended. Lots of LL Bean items some brand new/lightly used

It was an amazing experience for me. Never been or heard of this place and I'm definitely going again.

Got a pair of slightly used Merrell trail hiking sneakers and a Dak food dehydrator for $3.15. If you like yard sale or eBay get a whole gaylord for 20 bucks. Bring some friends and fill up your truck or minivan.

Awesome and polite staff also very helpful when I came in this morning to see were to drop off some old stuff I so recommend it

I paid 3 bucks for a pair of nice LL Bean leather shoes, a wool sweater, two toys for my kid, and a huge unused sketch book. That's right. $3.00.

Basically, you're in a Macklemore video. This is the last stop for stuff that either doesn't sell at Goodwill or doesn't meet their standards for sellable merchandise before it gets recycled or burned or shot into space or whatever. Go with an open mind and not much money.
