Camp Store - Blitzen Kitchen

The Camp Store is larger and more centrally located than the camp store at the Prancer's Activity Center. There's food and drink, camping supplies, firewood, RV supplies as well as shirts and souvenirs. The Blitzen Kitchen is accessible from outside the building and has a long menu of ice cream flavors and pizza.

Just come for ice cream!

Staff was pleasant and friendly, there were a lot of people there so they had a lot to deal with! I do wish they would say names before orders, I believe someone who ordered the same thing as us after us got our food, but that wasn’t the staffs fault (we didn’t say anything).

I love how the Camp Store is centrally located and it has the essentials needed. But Blitzen's Kitchen disappointed me. My family ordered a pizza at the window and the lady taking the order took my name and told me it would be 40 minutes. My first thought was 40 minutes is a little long for pizza, but we didn't mind waiting. But, after almost an hour, I went up to the window and it was ready and they never brought it to the window to call my name for it and my pizza was just about cold. Secondly, my family tried to get ice cream and the girl that was supposed to be taking orders asked me if I was ordering cold or hot food. I said cold. She asked me to come back later because there were 20 tickets that they were fulfilling. I think you need to staff more people in the kitchen than 2, especially on super busy weekends.

Gave my food to someone else and the staff was not very pleasant to deal with. Totally didn’t care when I said that it was our food. Not okay and it was the quality of service that was disappointing.
