Legends Rest Taproom

Legends Rest is a great sports bar and craft beer bar hybrid. They have a great sporty vibe all around but offer a great beer selection from local breweries. Their food is inexpensive but very good. It's a great addition to Westbrook's downtown area.

My husband and I love going to this place for a bite to eat and a couple of drinks. The atmosphere is dark and cozy. I love the constantly rotating drafts of beer so that we can sample a lot of local creations. The house tots make me a believer!! Customize them in delicious ways, including buffalo, cheese & bacon, chili, or poutine. The burgers are a great value, and the Mac n cheese is delicious. Happy hour specials are top notch. The ability to choose your music is a nice touch. Definitely gets 'hopping' sometimes making the tables fill up quick, but the servers always do their best to keep up with demand. I recommend this place to a lot of people in conversation. Definitely suggest trying it out!!

This is a great little neighborhood bar that flies under the radar. The food and service were great, and it's one of the only places left with reasonable prices. Definitely worth checking out even if it's a little out of your way.

Was looking for a good burger on a Saturday night and found Legends Rest. Had a perfectly made burger with tater tots. Tots were crisp and a pleasant change from fries. The drink selection was diverse. I had a Budvar as well as a tasty cider.
My tip of the cap goes to the friendly young lady holding down the bar and waiting tables by herself. Well done, we noticed!

We dined outside as it was a gorgeous Sunday afternoon. Our server, Meg, really took care of all the tables with extreme efficiency. I had the chicken caesar salad which was exceptional. The grilled chicken was nicely spiced and freshly grilled. The romaine lettuce could not have been more crisp. The dressing was delicious but not overwhelming. Top marks for the Legends Rest Taproom!

The burgers are the best, hands down. They also have a great selection of beers on tap and full bar. It's a small place and the vibe is very casual. It's definitely a hidden gem. Drop in, you won't regret it.

The bartender is amazing she is so bubbly and very attentive.

Great rotating beer selection, burgers are awesome, cool creative specials, and the prices are reasonable. It's a little small but the patio is fantastic and the only spot in Westbrook with river side seating. Only downside is their new smoked food menu is sometimes dry and needs to be dialed in.

The food is always fabulous at Legends! We typically order takeout (their Mac & Cheese is the BEST!!) but we decided to dine there - outdoors on the riverwalk - this evening. Alaina was our waitress and she was phenomenal! She was very attentive and kind, if we could have her as our server every time we’d probably go there even more often! Kudos to the chef, and also to Alaina - you’re both great!

Nice little Westbrook dive bar. The name is a little dumb but they have a lot of beers on tap and really good happy hour specials. Love the fact that they have classic Maine Red hot dogs on the menu. Tots are very good as well.

My husband and I tried this place for the first time tonight and sat out on the boardwalk. I tried the crab cake special with remoulade and the tater tots and my husband ordered wings. We have been passing by it since they opened and I gotta say my expectations weren't super high just because it was a small, tucked-away tavern. It was delicious...a step above your normal tavern fare in my mind, and the prices were super reasonable. My husband enjoyed gi wings as well. Our server was very pleasant and attentive (and the crab cakes were her recipe!). Yum. We'll be back.

Awesome local hangout. Good food at fair prices and extensive taplist. Great for watching the game and usually open late. It can be loud when its busy (such as when the game is on), but its a sports bar, so thats expected.

Made our first visit tonight. Very impressive local craft beer list. I love Bunker Machine Pilsner so was very happy they had it. Food is good and Baylis is an awesome server and took great care of us. Looking forward to returning soon!

Was walking 'round town Saturday night to see what the deal was with the storm. All bundled up a stuff. It was chilly. Saw some neighbors snowmobiling down Spring Street or whatever. Asked 'em for a ride but they were already ridin' two up and could fit a third and fourth (my broski was with me). Anyway. Was walking 'round town Saturday night to get some snow beers. All the gas stations were closed at 11pm. Is that normal? Anyway I was outta luck and was walking 'round town Saturday night to get some snow beers and the gas stations were closed and couldn't get a ride on the snowmobile so I was left with one final option; Ol' faithful Legends. My broski and I sauntered in and got a round at the bar. Big thanks to the staff for toughin' it out and staying open till midnight. Normally open till 1 but I'm not breakin' a sweat over it. There was a foot of snow on the ground and people gotta eat. Legends is good tho. 'Bout seating for 20 maybe? In the summer there's outdoor seating which'll really get you puckered. Good bar food selection, and the beers are bountiful. Glad I'm within walking distance cause I always leave there belted. Thanks y'all

The tots are otherworldly. Burger was priced well at 5 bucks too, and tasty!

Food was amazing and service was great! A little hard to see /find unless you know it's there. Drink specials are really neat and the food is fresh and delicious.

Nice casual pub. Great selection of craft beers. Friendly staff. Food is typical of these establishments. Will likely visit again.

Stopped in when I saw the beer list on Untappd. Small place with 4 decent size tvs. Great beers and fantastic happy hour 3-6. Mondays 2.50 burgers and 3.50 craft pints. I will be back.

Food is quick, cheap and tastes good. All I can ask for from a bar. The fact that they stay open late on weeknights is fantastic.

Love it here on Sundays! Happy hour all day! Everytime I have been it's very quiet and peaceful. Bar tenders are all great!
