I've been here twice. Once in the summer a few years ago and it was so pretty and there were people to answer any questions. Then again this year in the fall and it was much less busy and the changes of the trees and beautiful colors. Just gorgeous!

Beautiful, historic & fun. Several buildings to explore. Some have staff interpreters or museum exhibits. Plus, hiking trails and the historic cemetery to visit. We were impressed & enjoyed learning the history.

I've been visiting Spring Mill since I was born in 87 and it has not changed alot that's the nice part of it. It's almost always clean. With a large pool and fishing area and certainly is a bench mark in historic sites. Please take time to visit this park. It's like looking into a time machine. They have live active towns people to show how thing had been done during this time period. Not sure when that part starts.

Imagine yourself transported through time, stepping off the dusty trail and into a bustling pioneer village! The year is 1880, and a sense of community and self-reliance hangs in the air

The sawmill itself is an impressive structure. Towering above the rest, its wooden frame is sturdy and weathered, testament to years of hard work A massive wooden waterwheel, its paddles catching the sunlight, sits beside the building. The constant churn of water creates a rhythmic whoosh that fills the air. Inside, the scent of fresh-cut wood mingles with the sounds of sawing and hammering. Here, burly men with sun-creased faces wrestle massive logs, feeding them into the hungry maw of the saw. With each gnashing bite, the saw transforms rough timber into smooth planks, the building blocks of civilization

A visit to a pioneer village isn't just a walk through history, it's a chance to appreciate the resourcefulness and resilience of those who came before us. It's a reminder of the importance of community and the simple pleasures of a life lived close to the land!

A perfect place to visit on the first day of Fall! A light chill in the air and almost all the structures had a fire burning to warm the hearth. All the "locals" in character were incredibly welcoming and loved to talk about the history of each home or business. The grounds are extremely well maintained, as are the adjoining park grounds. First time here and was really impressed by it all.

Such a great park and the village is wonderful. I love that they leave some of the buildings open to walk through when the village isn't run by employees. Everyone who works/volunteers there seems to always have a smile and genuinely enjoy being there.

Very cool interactive historic village! The grain mill is still operational and they have demonstrations on the hour when open. We were able to buy cornmeal made that same day from the mill from the store next door. It was an awesome experience! Glad we stumbled upon it! Very beautiful sight for pictures as well

It’s a vintage village with an 1800s water running spinning mill and a cave in it. Water creek running in between the village. A great place for picnic and a day out.

Place is clean and well kept. Awesome buildings and characters are great if high come during the right hours. Have visited many times. Will return. Small admittance fee to park. Pioneer village is included with that. Great place to bring kids. They may learn something without realizing it.
