Portland House of Pizza

I tried the Thanksgiving Pizza…It was delicious!!…Loved everything about it,didn’t even eat it until I got home.Will definitely order it again!!…Hubby had one piece and I ate the rest🙂

My dad and I stopped in for some food and we both got steak bombs, which were great! The meat was actually cooked right, and tender and chewy. The bread smells fresh like they just baked it! It was quiet and they even cleaned up around us and left us to chit chat well beyond closing and even then they were super nice about prompting us to leave!
I will say though that I am extremely unsatisfied with the "Cookie-Whoopies" as the filling is more of a gritty sugar frosting as opposed to a soft & smooth cream filling. But, I think that really comes down to preference.

One of our local standbys. Good sandwiches and chicken, decent Greek-style pizzas. Generous rewards program on their super convenient online order system. The people are friendly even when they're busy, and they've got the pickup routine down pat. Parking lot out front makes pickup a snap. Big fan of this place and wish there were more food options like it in the area!

The Greek salad with grilled chicken was perfect chock full of chicken and feta cheese and I got extra Greek olives and it was loaded, price was great under $ 20.00.

Hadn't been to the restaurant in quite a while as I had moved away from Portland. My wife and I stopped in on our last trip up and if was great choice. The gluten free pizza was very good and overall it was a great experience. I will definitely return next time I am in Portland!

Long time loyal customer. Customer service is above other places in the area. Food quality is consistently very good. Value for dollar remains strong, especially with the rewards program.

I have to say, they were running a little rough when we arrived because they were slammed. But no one was giving up. People around the counter were cheering them on haha

I want management to know that they could have used some help.

Favorite lunch delivery. However, just ordered buffalo chicken tenders expecting what I have gotten for the past 5 years and the new chicken tenders are not good. The calzone was perfect though as usual.

Please get the old chicken tenders back.

Update: Back to 5 stars. Owner called to let me know the regular tenders are back!

Great customer service!!

We tried the pizza today! Great sauce, perfectly cooked crust, and fresh veggies made for the best pizza we have had in a long time! We got a 14 inch, thinking we would take the leftovers home. We finished it, we each ate half of it, it was delicious!

Staff was efficient and friendly. Place was clean and easy to navigate. No weird parking spaces. Walk in, pay, walk out with food. Exactly how it should be.

I got a calzone with pepperoni and jalapenos and feta, it was amazing. I'll order that again from here. They did an amazing job. Cooked to absolute perfection.
Chicken tenders were good. Fries were also really good.
Wife got a Grinder, and it was so good she finished before I'd finished my calzone. That's saying something since I usually inhale my foodstuffs.

10 out of 10, will definitely visit here again.

We have been going to Portland House of Pizza for years. We absolutely love their pizza. Their hand cut fries are really good. Their steak bomb sandwich is one of the best tasting cheese steak sandwich’s I have had in years. Very nice staff, delivery guys and gals are always nice and on time. And the ambiance when dining in, is always pleasant. Great family restaurant.

I go here often with the girlfriend. Her go to. They are great. They save previous orders and for someone like me ordering for the girlfriend it's always add this, no tomatoes etc. Food is wonderful. Check out their Facebook. Constantly having promotions and contest and listening to their customers.

This restaurant, the first thing you notice is the cleanliness. From when you pull into the parking to entering the lobby, every area is cleaned neat and kept up regularly. One time the restrooms needed a little attention and I let someone at counter know about it, immediately someone went straight away to take care of it. The store manager is super friendly, helpful, and his assistant managers are just as much so. If all that wasn't enough, the food is delicious with such a wide variety of menu options including gluten free pizza, all kinds of salads and sandwiches, fried foods and any customization to an order has never been a problem. Even with delivery, its timely, the drivers are nice and in the rare cases that there is a problem with one of my orders, whatever managers in charge at the time makes it zero problem to correct it and even compensate me for the mistake. 5 star review for a 5 star restaurant, the only place to go for great tasting and quality food in Portland, Portland House of Pizza.

We've lived in the neighborhood for 3 years now. Washington avenue Portland House of Pizza is always our go to place for a take out or a quick bite. The customer service here is superb EVERY time we go. We are always greeted by a smiling employee. It's very refreshing to have a local business that we can count on for consistency with great quality of food and service. Thank you everyone who works there for all the great work you do.
And if you haven't been there yet....do it! You won't be dissapointed.

The food truly is awesome here. The wings have been great lately, not sure if it's a new supplier, but I was very happy with the pizza, fries, wings, and I LOVE that they carry 2 liters of Fresca.

The food is very good and priced about what Amato'a and/or Pizza Hut would be. They have a lot on their menu too, I was impressed by their selection. Be careful taking a left out of the parking lot as you got to cross over 3 lanes of traffic, don't let that stop you from eating there however. Oh and while a white pizza isn't on their menu they will make one if you ask them.

As long time customers, we felt we needed to write a not so glowing review. That being said, we received a phone call from the manager apologizing for our meal. He said he would look into it and make things right. That's good customer relations. Kudos to Portland House of Pizza. Thank you!

My server was Jessica very presentable and friendly. When I was undecided she suggested a pizza. Being very picky about my pizza I had doubts but she assured me I wouldnt be disappointed! I took her word, pizza it was. I was very very pleased and have found my new spot for my visits to Portland! Thank you Jessica for a great experience I will be back often!
