Wow! What an incredible stay! Special shout out to Presley, the front desk agent, and Abby, the restaurant host, and Kendra, the server, for making our stay great. We had a fabulous time at the spa, too.

We stayed in one of the upper beach rooms. While our view was mostly parking lot, the view was prefaced on the website, and the quality of our room amenities/the beach being just outside balanced it out.

Loved breakfast. It’s your usual hotel buffet… expect table side coffee service, rotating gourmet options daily, and exceptional hospitality from all staff involved. We didn’t know buffet eggs could be so good.

I shot a wedding here in June. As a vendor I just want to say how nice all of the staff were, the food was great, and the location for a coastal Maine wedding was perfect! I highly recommend the Stage Neck Inn for your wedding! Beautiful backdrop for a ceremony and formal photos (Nubble Lighthouse and Long Sands Beach is only minutes away for portraits as well afterwards!)

Absolutely gorgeous. Our stay was exceptional! I recommend staying in Room 321...it has, in my opinion, the best center view plus its harbor and ocean view. Absolutely breathtaking. The room also has a lovely little fireplace perfect for cozy nights.

This truly is a four star hotel! The rooms either overlook the harbor or the ocean, with a balcony and cozy table for two to relax in the warm sunshine and watch nature!
The beds are so comfortable that you could spend a great deal of time snuggled in.
The rooms have complimentary coffee and tea, and water and turndown service with a sweet treat. There is a fireplace with remote and lovely sized tv with many channels and WiFi. The furnishings in the lobby and restaurant are gorgeous and comfortable.
The breakfast buffet has 18 selections from oatmeal to eggs Benedict and fabulous coffee. Their dinner menu is quite interesting and lots of choices and good sized servings.
Two of us were celebrating our common birthday on the trip and we did get a lot of extra perks from the staff.
For a very special treat or just a weekend hide away this is the place for you!!

My room had a king-size bed a private balcony and a beautiful view of the harbor. The staff was excellent and my stay was very enjoyable!

I was a wedding guest, so I cant comment on rooms and pricing, but the cenue was beautiful and my cousin was stunning. The ladies room bathroom door is tricky to lock so my niece barged in on my aunt.

I loved this one night overnight stay. Highlights - Service was friendly and welcoming, large very clean rooms with well cared for furnishings, a beautiful lawn area with great views, a lovely beach to enjoy. We had a partial ocean view (basically a parking lot room with a beautiful view of the beach and homes on the cliff) which I wouldn't hesitate to book again. However we didn't sit on the balcony; had we wanted to then I would consider upgrading to a water view. I loved the Adirondack chairs on the lawn to view the ocean and boats coming and going from the harbour. The beach was also a highlight for me. We had a buffet breakfast included which was exceptional on food quality, quantity and service - well worth the small mandatory gratuity. Fabulous spot for a stop on an East coast road trip. We visit the Boston area often and I'll definitely be staying here again.

Beautiful cozy little Inn!
Harbor side room had an awesome view. Service at the bar and dining room were outstanding. They have the friendliest employees here. Dinner was spectacular.
5 stars - highly recommend! We will be back!

This is such a beautiful vacation place! April through December it’s just absolutely beautiful. Rooms are so comfortable and clean. Staff is great so helpful. One of my most favorite places to stay. Really can’t say enough about this place!

If this is the sort of thing you're looking for is pretty good. We were going to a wedding next door and the internet made this place look like they had the best breakfast around.
I'm not sure that the breakfast was as impressive as I'd hoped, but it was substantially better than most hotels that have been to.

The grounds in the rooms are lovely. We chose one of the rooms that looks over the harbor instead of the ocean, it was a great choice.

We had a good experience at Stage Neck Inn. Long but honest review below.

Positives: The breakfast buffet was amazing! The room itself was nice. The staff was friendly. We enjoyed the restaurant and the main lobby. The store had cute items for adults and kids. The outside area is beautiful as it's right by York Harbor Beach. The bed was comfortable and the room is very spacious.

Negatives: I was told on the phone it'd be better to have a ground floor room, but I wish I would have gotten a better ocean view like I wanted. The bathroom was a bit outdated and some of the corners were dirty. Some older features in the room.

I would definitely stay here again, and I recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking to stay in this area. It is family friendly and a great area to stay in.

Nice spot for a special getaway. We were there for only one night and there happened to be a wedding going on - but we were relieved we didn't have to listen to drunken caterwauling (for long). It's worth the price of the stay just to get a parking spot for the beaches and cliff walks since every other spot in the whole town must be paid for with blood and tears. Clean rooms with comfy stuff and quiet despite all the people. Would totally stay here again.

We were lucky enough this year to make it to the Fourth of July clambake! You can’t beat the view, especially for the fire works at Harbor beach. The service was phenomenal and the buffet blew us away! We had guests visiting with young children and we were offered blankets due to the air conditioning and even a staff member went above and beyond ( even with a smile) to get food for one of us with a sleeping baby! The whole experience really was top notch! We can’t wait to come back! Such a special place!

We absolutely love Stage Neck Inn and plan to continue staying here as often as we can! We've stayed here three separate times over the last year and have had an amazing experience each time.

Our most recent stay was the best of all - we hosted our wedding at SNI in June and had the time of our lives! The staff were incredible all weekend long. All of our wedding guests raved about their stay: the rooms, staff, food, bartenders, ocean views... they loved it all. Huge shoutout to Dawn who helped to coordinate all of the details of our wedding day and made sure everything ran smoothly. She's the best! We can't wait to be back at Stage Neck soon.

Impeccable service, amazing rooms with incredible ocean view, fantastic food and bar, great amenities (gym, inside pool, whirlpool, spa). Expensive but worth the price. Recommend for a romantic get away. 18-20 minutes from ogunguit center or portsmouth nh downtown so close if you like to shop in cute unique stores.

We stayed the end of July / beginning of August. This is comparable to a Ritz Carlton in the quaint location of York, Maine. The breakfast buffet fills you up pretty much thru supper and covers all bases - vegan, carnivore, whatever. And there's precautions, such as putting out separate containers of fruit rather than one big bowl of fruit. The pool is huge and has a lap area; no need to go down 6am to reserve lounge chairs, either. It is not heated but is refreshing when it's hot. The ocean is like 30 steps from the steps of the Inn and a very clean public beach. Management has thought of everything with this Inn, from the TV remote wipes to the electric fireplace that we started on 1 cold rainy night. Just 2 things FYI -- we saw what we thought was a double charge on the bill; this was explained and was taken care of upon checkout. The 2nd thing is near the property but not onsite - do NOT park at the beach entrance with your car near the Inn if you do not have a paid parking sticker - we got a $50 ticket, and that must be paid in 10 days from receiving it or else it doubles. A good way to generate revenue for York, but that didn't deter us; there were small signs around that we didn't see, so our bad. This is a very family resort and we're glad we stayed, even as a couple. Tipping for all services goes a long way; and these folks work VERY hard for it.

This place and services are top notch. They go all out from dimmable light switches in all the rooms to changing towels more than just once a day, not to mention turning down sheets, etc. The breakfast buffet is one of the best. Make your own Belgium waffle, eggs of all kinds, home fries, different breads, fresh fruits, etc. All you can eat... If you love being spoiled, this is the place. It's in prestine condition and kept up like new! My wife and I have been coming here for 5 years now!! We're sure you'll love it too!

We ate there for their 50th anniversary meal. The service was excellent. The food was cooked perfectly and the dinner was priced fairly. Tap beer was ice cold. Location cannot be beat and the views from the lawn are gorgeous. Highly recommended.

I’ve never been to a more peaceful and beautiful little place like this. We went for my son’s birthday and stayed the weekend.

Cleanliness is a priority to me and I’m a little particular about it, and the room was spotless! The view was just breathtaking, even better than pictures!

The breakfast at shearwater is absolutely delicious and they make everything taste like it was homemade, my only comment would be that there are no options/extremely limited in the Buffet for vegans/vegetarians, I suggest maybe some eggs with veggies and beans?

The indoor pool was perfect and we enjoyed swimming there, however, the hot tub wasn’t working, that was a bummer. I enjoyed the sauna too!

Dinner was delicious as well with perfect view. We enjoyed the soups, buffalo wings, crab cakes, the salmon, everything was very well made and tasty.

This was all in the middle of a snow storm!! I can’t imagine how beautiful this place would be surrounded by water everywhere in the summer! This is going to be one of our favorite spots!

Love, love, love the Stage Neck! Beautiful location, with views of the water from rooms on either side of the hotel, and a warm and inviting common space off the lobby with a fireplace, looking out on to the ocean. We especially love the beautiful bar and restaurant. The complimentary breakfast buffet is such a nice way to start each day, and we can't say enough about the housekeeping services and all the lovely people who work at the inn. I've used the spa a few times as well, and always had a great experience there - usually while my husband takes advantage of the indoor pool and hot tub. Can't say enough great things about this place. We look forward to staying here at least once every year - it really feels like home.
