John and the guys/gals at the chiseler are the only ones I trust to cut my hair. From my first haircut to cutting my hair for my wedding, John is the best barber you will ever find.

Best barber shop in the Twin Cities, by far! John has been in business for 25 years and his staff is amazing. After moving here 7 years ago and getting haircuts by my mom, whose been a hairstylist for 40+ years, I can’t tell you how many barbers I gambled with in the Minneapolis area and the talent doesn’t match up. Miss Le is my go to. Best fade I’ve ever had (sorry mom😬). My two sons go here as well. If you’re looking for a quiet, laid back old school style barber shop, stop in and see John and his staff. I would let any of them cut my hair.

Despite me being bad at describing how I want my hair done, Mr. Lee did an amazing job with my hair. Asked just enough questions to figure out what I was going for, didn’t overly feminize it, and all for a great price

I see Ms. Lee on a weekly basis and I have never been more satisfied with a Barber in my life! She is so personable and pays attention to the details. She is a true magician when is comes to cutting hair! I would recommend scheduling with her as you will leave with the best hair cut and best quality of service! Truly!
Best haircut I have ever gotten! I have been coming here for a couple years and always get consistently great results. I did not know what I was missing out on before I started coming here.

Booked an appointment with Jaee for my younger brothers haircut. The haircut took longer than we wanted but it was my fault due to a slight miscommunication. Jaee was extremely patient and provided excellent service ensuring we got the haircut we wanted. I would highly recommend this place and a HUGE thanks to Jaee for going way overtime tonight.

My husband was a first time customer today and now says he’s going to be a lifetime customer! Jeff cut his hair and did a fantastic job! Very thorough and paid close attention to everything he was doing! The entire staff was very welcoming, friendly and outgoing. Hands down best cut I’ve seen on my husband! We will definitely be back with our sons!

Not the most fancy or attractive looking interior or exterior, but the barbers are some of the best in the state - and the prices are very competitive.

One of the best barbershop I've ever seen to. It's quick, get in and out. The prices on haircuts are very reasonable compared to a lot of barbershops around the metro and Twins cities. $20 of any style haircut? You can't be that! I'll definitely recommend this barbershop to friends and family

Went here for the first time today. I have curly/wavy hair which is difficult to cut, and usually gets messed up so I didn’t have high expectations.

I was pleasantly surprised when Jaee was done. Nice clean lines and tapering. Attention to detail. Top was a little shorter than expected, but I also didn’t specify it. Will be returning. Thanks Jaee!

JOHN the owner And every other barber have an amazing team that can cater to any hairstyle. Don't forgot there beauty shop they have for ladies or guys needing service. They do the best dreads in the business....

Since moving here in 2009, I’ve been searching for a quality barber. Let’s just say I found him here! Jay(Jae) cut my hair and it’s by far the best one I’ve received here! Highly recommend this one...Above and beyond my expectations!!! No doubt! I could go on & on about the quality/time that was put into my cut! Go there, you won’t regret it! 😊

Recently moved to the area and have been looking for a barber since. I came across this shop online. After having haircuts in the metro area for a while, I have never felt this welcome and had a great cut as I did here. Jay had great conversational skills and gave me a very clean haircut. I would heavily recommend this place if you want to have a great haircut and a good barbershop experience.

I have been coming to this barbershop for last 4 years and use to go as child with my grandfather 25 years ago. The level of service and professionalism is through the roof and has never changed through the years. With my hectic work travel schedule I have had to rotate between John, Anthony, Ms. Le, and Mr. Lee, and I am VERY comfortable with all barbers giving me a fresh cut because they all are capable of giving me the consistent cut I want. Definitely recommend this barbershop!

Everyone was welcoming and friendly. The head barber was very kind and made good small talk even though I wasn’t up for it. That improved my mood, he also gave me recommendations for what I can use to shave my beard. 10/10 would go again.

This shop is currently by appt . & have implemented COVID-19 safety protocols. Everyone was wearing masks/face shields. Customers are required to wear one as well. I loved my service, shop was clean with friendly staff.
Barber Leontay cut my hair. He listened to what I wanted & did an excellent job!

Not only do they give great haircuts, they are just really down to earth people. 10/10 recommend for anybody. Anthony is a really great person to talk to. Really wise. Very clean haircuts. All in all, 100% I recommend this place.

Mrs. Lee is very great at haircut, barber cut, and giving out ideas and option especially if you are never comfortable with setting out a hairstyle you never tried before. I'd recommend her to anyone who would like a different hairstyle.

John and the whole crew at Chiseler Barber Shop are great! I've been going to Anthony for years now and he is always professional and does a great job. I would highly recommend to anyone!
