I was a student here in the early 90s and I also had three kids go here. The school and its teachera have remained amazing!

The school seems ok but one thing that is not, is the fact that this school sends the children outside essentially everyday. My child has been sick repeatedly, along with multiple other children. We're talking vomiting and all. When you place a call to the office asking for your child to remain indoors you are told that going outside is school policy and that a doctor's note is needed in order for your request to be honored. Why should we (parents) be inconvenienced any further by taking time off to get a doctor's note for something that should be common sense? You don't send a sick or recovering child outside in the cold! Furthermore our request as parents should be more than adequate, these are after all OUR kids! My spouse and I have to determine if our child will attend school or not every time cold symptoms arise. If we send them they will more than likely be completely sick within a day or two, and if they stay home to recover they will more than likely be sick within a day or two because they will be back outside. Lose, lose and at the expense of the child. Sad. Also my child was well into adding, learning nouns, and how to read at our last school. We don't even receive any homework here. We will withdraw if there is no improvement.

....and another thing. The pick up/drop off situation is nothing short of retarded. There are cars parked on the side of the school that have to merge into the same lane as the cars exiting the parking lot in order to leave. I have barely escaped several near accidents. If you cannot change the process, at least hire a guard to hold up a stop sign to direct this mess or contact the police dept for help.

The school is an unorganized joke.
