This is the first time I have ever recommended any business/service on Google reviews. Eight days ago, I went to China Consulate General in Chicago to submit my visa application in person, and I prepared a stamped USPS Priority Mail Express envelope with my address for the Consulate to return my passport in mail. But the staff at the Consulate told me that in-person pickup is mandatory. I was lucky to meet Shawn Lu at the Consulate. Great experience with Shawn. I never had to visit - handled everything in the mail and even coached me on a few things. Very helpful! Tip: leave your application open until Shawn has reviewed everything, and THEN submit it and make your consulate appointment. Two weeks from the day I called until I received my passport back with the visa in it - that includes a few days of calls filling out and refining the application, then mailing it, then Shawn going to the consulate, then the approval and processing, then the FedEx back to me with 4 days to spare!
