Very friendly people and Knowledgeable. Plus they moved 3 doors down from where they were(the gaming place) It’s a bigger place and a lot more storage for all the items they had.

One of the best comic shops ive been to. The owner Jay is a great guy and you can tell he genuinely loves his career choice! The shop was big and had a little something for everyone. The selection of comics is outstanding! Jay's has become one of my go to shops!

They have a very large catalog of comics. Incredibly well stocked.

Jay's is my go-to LCS and I've been a subscriber since 2018. Their selection is strong and they have generous subscription discounts as well as awesome sales for most holiday weekends. I have probably 10 titles on pull and go once a week. They have plenty of pop and action figures for sale but don't waste too much inventory space on non-comic items which I like. They do good business and don't overcharge for variants. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. An easy 5 stars.

Clean store, very organized, great customer service.
My hubby is the comic book collector, so we let him in his happy place looking through boxes. Our son and I wandered to look at everything else.
Toys, mugs, pins, other collectables.
Just a lot of fun.
Kid friendly, actually to me one of the most kid friendly comic book stores I've been to.
Bit of a drive for us, but we'll be back!

Great place but a bit pricey like most comic book places. Jay is a very nice guy and very understanding. My 7yr old daughters refer to him as uncle Jay. Has lots of things/ variety of stuff for all ages. My daughters love my little pony. I grown to like it as I watch it with them. So if that makes me a Broney then Im proud to be one. It's a great show. If in the mood for DC, Marvel, Independent comics, ectra, then I suggest stopping by if in the area. I prefer this place better then Dream land comics. Not to say either one is better. I just prefers Jays. Last post I made I had messed up on star ratings. This is the one to go to

Stopped in the other day just passing by. The place is amazing. Variety of Old and Modern day comics is insane. Doesn’t stop there. There is one huge wall with shelves of paperback and hardcover books as well as display cases with collectible figures and Funko Pops all over the store. Service was Great and very knowledgeable. This store is on point! Glad I stopped in and will definitely be back next time in the area! Well done Jays!

I’ve been a customers of Jays comics for many many years. I’m only writing this review because he and his team did a phenomenal job switching locations (only three stores down) in practically one day, they ran multiple promotions this summer. Not sure how they found the time. If they don’t have what you want they will track it down. Best of all they haven’t gotten on the new trend of jacking prices up day one because of E-Bay. Looking forward to the new expansion and seeing what’s to come. Congrats to Jay and his staff. Wishing you guys continued success.

Very clean and well-organized store. Jay was very friendly and had a nice selection. Will definitely visit whenever I am back up there and possibly order through the internet.

Everyone that works here is so helpful and knowledgeable, love supporting a local business. They have a great selection of items and the new location is huge! if they don’t have what you want in stock they can order almost anything (I think) for you and they let you know when it’s in! Thanks Jay for running a great business.

Really cool place. I go there every now and then to pick up Watchmen stuff to ease my addiction. Wish I could go every day if I wasn't a broke college kid. Really cool staff. The new Location is super cool. I highly recommend best comic shop I've been to.

I am a newer customer of Jay’s Comics. I started coming here at the beginning of the year. It is very rare to find excellent customer service these days but the staff here have been great to me. Earlier this year, I was called before I wasted a trip to the store because the store hours had changed unexpectedly. What a nice surprise to have someone value your time too. This last week I had an even better example of great customer service. I was called and offered to have my pull list comics shipped to me. I happily accepted. Shipping wasn’t cheap but when I received my package it was worth every penny. My comics had been bagged and boarded, bubble wrapped and encased in two layers of cardboard before being put in the shipping box. The last time I shipped comics I thought I packaged them well, but I didn’t get anywhere close to this. So in three months of shopping at Jay’s I’ve had two great experiences. I am looking forward to the days I can visit them regularly again.

They have a huge selection of new comics. Most places I go to run out of new books after the first few days, especially on popular titles, but Jay’s always has them in stock. They also have a great selection of back issues. It isn’t super big, but there are some really good books in there. I have never bought a graded comic from them, but I do know they also have a large selection of them as well. Very helpful and and well organized store.

I've been going to comic shops, in the Chicago burbs for years, and this is by far the best! The staff is outstanding and fun to chat with. Their knowledge of writers and artists is outstanding. If you need a recommendation, you can't go wrong with their opinions. The selection is fantastic, (There are other shops in the area that don't carry nearly the number of Image titles that Jay's does.), and the specials and raffles are stellar. I love this place! Bring your friends, kids, family, grandma (not because she likes comics, but because she''ll buy you stuff... that's what grandmas do!)... it's worth the visit!
